With Thierry Henry leaving Red Bull, is there a chance of us trying to sign him? Even at 37, I think he'd be a decent short term solution to help our striker options.

Hey Eds, Just one q in parts, do you rate Nastasic as a CB? Improvement on what we've got? Any idea why he's been frozen out? Where might he go? Any chance Liverpool?

{Ed002's Note - I don't "rate" players Kev but Liverpool have more than enough cover at centre back with Toure, Kirikou, Skrtel, Lovren and Paez, Coates and Wisdom to return from loan.

However, Nastasic is of interest to Inter Milan but an exchange for soon to be out-of-contract Stephan Lichsteiner with Juventus may suit both clubs - but perhaps not the players with, I understand, Nastasic favouring linking up with Mancini again, and Lichsteiner having to give up a potentially lucrative signing on fee. Manchester City are restricted under their FFP sanction to probably only being able conduct exchanges in January without selling first.}

Not to mention Ilori, that lightening quick super talent from Sporting Lisbon with the world at his feet who has never been given a sniff of a chance.

I was very interested to hear you mention the name Sinkgraven below. Interesting name who I've heard a lot about but not seen a lot of. Youtube here I come :)

Just wondering if there's any other names you've heard in other positions?

I fully understand these are names with which Liverpool are monitoring and I certainly will not be crucifying you in January or anything. As you've already stated you are not expecting much (if any) incomings in January. Just always interested in hearing some names with some more validity behind them than the newspapers provide.

{Ed001's Note - off the top of my head, Pedro is still being tracked, Hamsik was of interest in the summer but ruled out, De Bruyne has recently been watched on his loan at Wolfsburg. Carlos Vela was tracked last season, but again no move was made, but tabs are being kept on him again this season. Goalie wise, there has been a look at Leno, Diego Lopez, Diego Benaglio and still keen on Trapp. I really don't expect much, if any, movement in January though.}

Leno & Trapp are good keepers and Pedro would be a great addition as he is a world class player who scores regularly.

Hi, do you think that Liverpool are looking at Max Meyer and Javi Martinez to patch the holes? Especially, the later would be a good option but he is very pricey

{Ed001's Note - we can't do that. Clubs in the same FA have to wait until 1 month from the end of his deal to make a pre contract offer. Only clubs playing outside of England can offer him a contract in January, so the reports are bull.}

Is Delph an improvement on Lucas, Henderson, Gerrard, Can, Lallana & Coutinho who all play in midfield ?

As a holding midfielder he'd be an improvement on Lallana and Coutinho! But I could only see this happening if Lucas were to go

Have lfc looking to AS Roma Radja Nainggolan? I love the way he play in the center play. Very good in term of defensive, positioning & passing ability.

If Lucas goes, then might as well take a look at this player.

{Ed001's Note - not that I know of. The only midfielder new I have heard mentioned to me recently was Sinkgraven, I think he is at Groningen if I remember rightly, or Heerenveen maybe? I forget now sorry, but he defo is in the Eredivisie and had 5 Premier League scouts watching him in a recent match. One being ours, one being Man Utd, one being Arsenal, I can't remember the other two off the top of my head. I should have written it down, but I was out at the time I got the call and wasn't thinking sorry.}

It's Heerenveen Ed, but I think Man Utd are favourites to get him.
