Henry has been scouted by most premier league clubs, but no one has made an offer for him. Also, he has recently dislocated his shoulder, (again) and will be out for a while.

Question for anyone who has seen the lad, when people say not ready for our level, is that as in they'd be bottom of PL or championship level, or not ready for challenging for top 4 in EPL? Also regardless of that are they better than the Milner/ Moreno option?

He's a bottom half prem player at the moment but is improving everyweek. he's pacey, works hard and good in 1 on 1 defending. He does need to improve his positional play. Although he's not ready for a top club at the moment he is certainly an improvement on what we have.

young and extrmely mobile, IMHO Rico Henry is a talented footballer, but his lack of strength and defensive nous see him much more of a work in progress. No way he'd be ready for the first team now.

Any ideas what's going to happen with Illori, Wisdom, Luis Alberto and Markovic? They don't seem to have a future at the club but I haven't seen any clubs linked with them.

{Ed002's Note - Ilori has been at the Olympics and will move if a club can be found - else it would need to be a loan. Wisdom - I would like to say a loan but I he could potyentially stay as cover (but then he takes up a squad place) - perhaps some work to do. Alberto will return to Spain. Fenerbahce wanted to sign Markovic but would not give certain guarantees. Fiorentina, Schalke and Roma are all clubs that have contacted his agent but it is Lazio who have had an offer rejected by Liverpool. Milan are open to a move but would prefer a loan.}

I know you don't want to get into money but without going into detail, is Lazio's offer close to Liverpool's asking price or does that seem unlikely? Does that Milan loan seem more probable?

Cheers Ed! We've commanded some decent fees for players we've sold up to press but I can imagine we're pushing our luck a little bit with one or two asking prices, Markovic included.

The club getting a taste of their own medicine getting offers well short of the asking price, hopefully it'll change how we handle making our own offers in the future.
