Being reported we have submitted a bid of around £61-65 million for Joao Felix.

Nice little player, but far too early for a PL move imo.

Ruben Dias plays for Benefica and Ed did say we were scouting him. The papers think we need an attacking midfielder and probably saw a scout with his credentials. Made up the story and went from there, unless any of the Eds can say otherwise.

Actually I disagree that it’s too early for a (hypothetical) move. He’s an absolute raw talent and unlike a lot of our youngsters who I think aren’t ready for the spotlight, Felix looks like he wants to own it. He would need to bulk up to compete in the PL. He immediately looks like a player to employ in the 60th minute against park the bus teams to show off flare and build experience but I do see a spark in this kid that reminds me of a young (not the Brazilian) Ronaldo. Rant over 😁.

I hope Origi does. He’s been big for us a few times but general attitude is sluggish and no chemistry. I actually think Origi is being held back by our style of play and could progress his career with another team like West Ham. I would say thanks for the drive and on your way lad. All the best.

If this young kid can keep his head he has the potential to be huge. I wouldn't be surprised if LFC were after him but where they might get the money, who knows. Maybe we could all chip in? :)

Absolute rubbish thatrumour, for two reasons, we would not bid that much for an unproven kid in portugal, and if we had of made that bid, they would of snapped our hands off. Some one not very smart has got to much time on there hands.

{Ed002's Note - They would not snap anyone's hand off at that price - they want much more as they have explained to the interested sides.}
