This squad may be changed However when Ajax got knock into Europa Suarez was placed in there squad and although he did not play he was classed as a ajax europa player and therefore inelligable for liverpool. {Ed002's Note - Just to clear this up as you don't understand. Suarez has already representated a side who were in the same competion as Liverpool, that is why he cannot play. Nothing changes with Ajax being knocked out. Carroll is wearing number 29 because the number 9 shirt was previously allocated to a different player (Torres). You may only assign one number to one player within a single season of European competition.}

A friend of mine knows stevie g and just thought I'll post this after the talk of he is leaving! My friend told me after i asked if he was leaving that he is building a mega house twice the size of his house in formby in ormskirk! Read into it what u want but if u spend the amount of money my friend is talkin about u will want to live in it! My personal opinion is he has paid his dues and if he wants to leave we should all wish him luck

Just got back from work. did a barcelona flight today and had a load of braga fans on coming to liverpool. they were a nice group of fans happy and smiling.

Would be very sad to see him leave our club as I see it as a step backwards if we do sell him! Anyway he has talked to the manager about a transfer to Liverpool (as he is a Liverpool fan) and is trying to push through a move! Moyes has said he would be disappointed to see him leave but he is willing to sell him and let him fulfill his dreams .

That's complete rubbish. Atletico can't talk to a player unless they've already agreed a fee with Galatasaray.
He's still available, though I seriously doubt he'll be playing for us next season.

Alright Eds, been away for a week and havent been on this site, any more news on Reina rumours? hes come out in last nights Liverpool Echo speakin about breakin club records and generally speaking good about the club so is that something to read into possitively? {Ed001's Note - there has been nothing new, which could be seen either way I guess, personally I take it as a good sign.}

My brother in law who is an assistant kit man at Liver tells me that Carroll could be starting tonight as Kenny wants to cause them trouble right from the start and get an early goal. Says he will play about 65 minutes with N'Gog coming on for him.

Pirlo to LFC - Sincerely hope not as he is old and slow - that's why he is a free agent! Can, t see it happening.

Young - Looks Manure bound at this time - No real loss there!

Turan - Still a chance - I live in hope!
Baines - Gut feeling is that there's a chance, best Prem left back IMO. I hope so.
Adam - Not sure he will be coming with Spuds interest!
We have been linked with so many players and hopes are high, can't see Benzema joining due to his current form. I would like to see Bojan rumours come good.
Wingers and left back should be a priority, it would be nice to see Liverpool have flying wingers as we missed this over the last 10 years! Except Pennant and Riera - yeah still missed having flying wingers!
Now on my Football Manager 2011 I have a really good team - but that's make belive and I cheated so not even going there!

So, as for LFC we will see a big clearout. We have alot of 30ish y/ o players to go and alot of dead wood. They will need replacing and I think KK and all will look for class - free signings are to be squad players to plug gaps. Marveaux looks to be a decent player though.
Summary: In: Marveaux, Possible: Adam & Baines.
I have no idea about any others and seems neither does anyone else - but love the rumours rolling in - especially the Ronaldo and Messi one - puts a smile on my face, that was funny!
Eds, question - What will happen now is seems Aquaman is returning at end of season - do you think he could be used or sold? If we fail in Adam - I would keep and use him as squad player.

Nice to see people finally linking Lloris with a move to Liverpool having posted that he is the keeper we should be signing. However, we'd need to cough up significantly more than £10m. His release clause is £20m

Hey ed! It's like it feb again with these fernando torres posts! Anyway read in espnstar.com that rafa is linked to a shock reunion with Valencia. Not that im linking Liverpool with Rafa again but i just think that if ever Rafa would be appointed manager of Valencia then we would have a slimmer of chance of getting banega and/ or mata.
