couple questions 4 u..
-Jan transfer we will definitely buy striker. Assuming Rodgers still wants to replicate the way he played at Swansea, i think we need striker like Danny Graham-type in our team. Suarez moves a lot never stay at his position. So, who's likely play like Graham? Llorente? or maybe another player from Eredivise.
-Is our interest in Swede defender who play at Genoa is genuine? is he any good..havent seen him much.
-i heard we are looking for Gerrard replacement aka behind striker player aka attck midfield. Is it true we are scouting Illicic? looks gud to me.

ItsJimmy-lfc {Ed002's Note - (1) There is certainly interest in Hooper right now. (2) I cannot think of any Liverpool interest in defenders playing at Genoa. (3) Both Milan clubs and Juventus have an interest in Ilicic but Inter are favourites if he does come up for sale this winter, which I doubt. England seems a unlikely destination although Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Aston Villa have looked at the player in the past. You may have seen some recycled news.}

Ed do you know what sort price Hooper will be available for?

Besiktas midfielder Ricardo Quaresma has the opportunity to return to Portugal with Sporting CP. The Lisbon club have offered a four-year deal to the 29-year-old and are willing to pay him €125,000 a month.

eds...does the name luciano vietto ring any bells?....heard we're being linked to him...hes a argentine youngster {Ed001's Note - no sorry.}

This got reported quite a bit in the press this time last month. He's a young Argentinian striker, no idea if there was anything in it? just reports we had him scouted, I would imagine we have a lot of players scouted.

Re developing Anfield

Club set to announce that work will start on re developing Anfield road end plus main stand

Also heard that the club will sell the naming rights to help fund this
No names as yet

Story is that there will be a joint announcement today with council and Ian Ayre

Just heard from a friend with a Groundworking business that they have been asked to tender for work connected to redeveloping Anfield. With work due to commence this summer.

No tenders will be awarded until planning permission has been granted.

Never said it had been awarded. Just invited to tender. This will expedite the process if/when pp is approved.
