Liverpool are said to be in "advanced discussions" with Lyon full-back Jordy Gaspar, who is currently yet to sign a professional contract. got to love that phrase 'advanced discussions'. Whatever it may imply! Personally don't know anything about the player.

I have heard we have been looking at a player from Freiberg, Max Philip. Don't know much about him except he is a versatile attacking midfielder. Anyone know much about him?

Phillipp Max? Left back for Augsburg. That's all I've read and really can't remember whether he was any good when we played them.

I think I remember him from the olden days of Football Manager. Young german striker/ attacking midfielder with a lot of potential, was considered one of the up-and-comings, though left in the shade of Timo Werner. Never seen him play in real life though, so no idea how he developed.

I would've thought that Phillip Max was more likely as he's a LB, however there is also a Maximilian Philip who plays as a midfielder for Freiberg! Both of them are 23, so who knows which one our interest lies in, if either! Maximilian is the chap that Drigan is referring to as he is a contemporary, both in terms of age and position, to Timo Werner.
I wonder if the transfer committee got it wrong all those years ago, and we were actually, for example, after Poulsen Christian, an amazing attacking midfielder, rather than Christian Poulsen, an amazing donkey?! Who knows!

He is a forward who can play across the front 3 and he will be about 22 years old now. Not heard his name in about 2 years so I don't know if he ever fulfilled his potential.
