Hi eds just wondering if Nigel De jong would be available in the summer ?, I think he's the defensive minded player we need in front of the cbs and would balance the midfield. any interest from us ?

{Ed002's Note - Nigel De Jong is interesting Juventus who are expecting to make significant midfield changes this summer. De Jong may be considered as an alternative for Manchester United but he will be far from first choice.

2 players i would want in the summer that would improve us and would be realistic would be cech and keiderA.
I do think we need a clear out in the forward line and a top striker brought in but I don't see it happening. You need 2 top strikers to challenge on all fronts and sturridge is injured too much. We would be left with origi who looks so poor and possibly ings or lambert who aren't too drawer. Sterling isn't a striker.
Interesting summer aheaD. We will either kick on or buy players who won't improve us and fall further behind

Please don't fear, Ed002! I suspect Khedira is precisely not what the doctor would order for us. Seems to me a rather smart chap mentioned one Matuidi as a player Liverpool would find useful, and after watching that kid play for a few games now, I believe his work rate and skills would fit beautifully with 'Pool. Whilst Sami is a talented player, I'm not so sure his style fits what Anfield is presenting these days.

Eds, won't Schalke struggle to match Khedira's wage demands? I know we aren't in a great financial position but with Gerrard and Johnson set to leave we'll have space in our buddget

Eds. Last i saw it was a case of Khedira being offered around and he needed to prove his fitness. Have we made advances from there then Please?

Eds is Isco available this summer?

{Ed002's Note - Real Madrid made Isco available in the summer - although priced at a level where all but a handful of teams could afford him. They also offered him to Chelsea in part exchange for a player but Chelsea were not interested. There was interest from Manchester City and Bayern Munich in the past, but right now I am not aware of any interest that remains from these clubs and I understand that Real Madrid are pleased with his performances and will look to keep him whilst letting others move on.}

Ive seen reports floating about that Ings is set to snub us in favour of Utd. what's your thoughts on this mate? Or do you still expect him to join us?
