Liverpool would be such a boring team to watch if Luis Suarez left. It was amazing he wanted to come to liverpool in the first place. I guess people fall in love and fall out of love just as easily.

Its a key aspect of NESV. When they wanna cash in on someone, they character assassinate them 1st. Best eg is Nando, who actually wanted to stay at LFC, but was forced out for the $$$$$$$.

I was disgusted at their behavious towards Kenny and Luis. Real cowards.
And guess what, we're starting to see their mates in the press have digs at Kenny too.
remember as a fan, NESV are using YOUR money to do this!

The rumored reports are that Torres did indeed try and retract his transfer request, but Kenny told him to leave anyway because he had disrespected the club.

NOthing to do with FSG.

TSP

Do you not think that this is simply paper talk. If you follow Suarez on Twitter or Facebook he is constantly promoting how happy he is at Liverpool and how he always wanted to play in the prem. I cant see us shifting him out to Chelsea or the MU down the M62. If he went to another European club we would make a lot of money on the deal and potentially bring in some other serious talent. Personally I cant see him going anywhere, but if he does, thats life. Carra loves us and that's all that matters. {Ed002's Note - The interest in Suarez is from PSG, Palermo and Juventus. Not Chelsea or Manchester United.}

Nando didnt disrespect the club. He said the fans deserved investment to get us back up where we belong.
NESV started salivating at 50m ££££££££.

If thats true about torres retracting his transfer request then whats the diffrence between gerrard doing the same a few years back?torres and suarez would of been a great forward line!kennys management will be judge on who he bought an who he let go!
deano mcc

Exactly mate. Too many reds are deluding themselves.
NESV dont drop clangers like H&G did, but make no mistake, we're just mugs to be conned by pr, in NESV's view.

Whats going on with Daniel Pacheco, is he finished at anfield? {Ed002's Note - Yes. This has been dealt with several times before - try the search function.}

who would kenny dalglish step aside for?

Hulk....

Square tomato

Got to be Jurgen Klopp for me

No-one.

I can't believe some people. So far this season there's only been a handful of games we haven't dominated. We've also won our first trophy in years and we're playing attractive football.

Our only downside is that we're not putting our chances away but we're still a work in progress. Some people should realise that KD has only had one summer to improve the squad. Look at Man City. There's a big chance they'll win nothing this season yet look at all the money they've spent. Yet Mancini is seen as a fantastic coach.

Seriously, you lot should appreciate just what a fantastic manager we have. Get behind him and the team and stop wishing for the long ball tactics of Houllier, the constant tinkering of Benitez and the boring football of Mourinho.

We already have the special one, people just need to realise it.

Dont know who wrote that comment but agre^^

Agree with you totally...can't believe the negativity of some fans. Yes...its bloody frustrating sometimes when we dominate then drop points but we are on the up...regardless of the points difference. Did you not see/hear the owners after the the Carling cup win...they couldn't praise KK enough. They also pointed out that it would take time to compete on all levels and that KK is the man to take the team forward.

With the Age Kenny not a Long time plan for Liverpool.

Nobody, Kenny is the man to take us forward. For years everyone moaned and wanted him back. He is back, and now people want him gone?

Give it up, he will win us the league, just give him time!

But Mancini isn't seen as a fantastic coach...

Not everyone want KK back. It's just that at that time there were no other options. I for one never wanted him back since he left us 20 years ago for Blackburn. Now that he is back, I do not see much progress by the team. Winning the league cup was a relief but certainly not the great progress or catalyst for bigger things to come. Under Houllier we won a few trophies in a season and during Rafa's reign we won the champions league and the FA cup and came close to winning the league title but falter at the closing stage. Consistency is something which our players fail to show over the past two decades. I do not think KK is the man to bring us that consistency in the team. If we can bring back KK after two decades we ought to give Rafa another shot with the financial support. He is about the only person who has great affection for Liverpool. Even Fergie took a few years to bring the consistency to the team.

A certain young portugese manager has recently left his position, ideal, if you give him time and money

Ed if Suarez were to leave could Lavezzi become a option for Liverpool? {Ed002's Note - I doubt it. There is interest in Levezzi from several clubs including Manchester City, Juventus, Zenit and PSG. I think it would take a very high bid to get Napoli to consider selling the player and I think the player himself is happy where he is right now.}

15 Mar 2012 22:22:41
Hi to all eds, thanks for your efforts always, a question for ed002, when you say there is no interest from pool do you mean lpool are not interested in the player due to the price or we do not think the player is good enough to play for us? thanks
hibsylfc {Ed002's Note - It will be that Liverpool have not shown any interest in the player that we are aware of - and in most cases this would be accurate information.}

If Johnson is leaving in the summer, what are his likely destinations, and how much money would he bring us?

PJ.

On the basis him leaving, which I find unlikely but hey ho, I'd put money on a shock return to Chelsea.

who else they got? An ageing Ivanovic and Bosingwa?

Chelsea were interested when Porstmouth were selling him, so who knows.

as for amounts, we got him for £17.5m.. It's anybody's guess

Mr Controversy {Ed002's Note - Ivanovic and Johnson were born in the same year. Chelsea are interested in buying a right back but not Johnson.}

Touche Eds, need to do my research better

Luuk de jong looks pretty poor to me.

Neil p

True. How many jongs are we after!

He's not a scratch on Soldado and will not get us the goals we need to take a step up

This just reminds me of ngog same thing gna happen 2 this lad n hel end up joining a team like Bolton after 2 or 3 years l8a

You can hardly compare him to Ngog DeJong has a good goal scoring record while Ngogs record was terrible before we signed him

Why did we sign ngog in the 1st place!! thats what i want to know?

Are you sure you've been watching the right player ?

Hey Eds i have four questions that i would prefer to be answered to the best of your ability

1) kenny, Clarke and Commolli were supposed to be at Stamford bridge last night. Main target Cavani (i doubt he would come) the levezzi hamsik and aswell torres. do you see any of these?

2) Kenny and Clarke are at the Etihad tonight. suspected targets are johnson and wolswinkel i believe any chances?

3) Commolli was supposed to be at the Sans Mames (bilbao) who would we be watching there? i mean they have loads of talent. any in particular?

4)i have heard suarez will pen in a new 5 year deal. (8 years total) im not sure if its true as thats a big part of a career and he would have to be 100% sure we are rebuilding right. the question is would he pencil in 5 more years if Cavani came?

and ED002 personnally i think suarez will stay. that is more of a personal opinion by the way he acts. he is out of sorts in interviews tho!

PLEASE POST, would love to hear views of both bystander's and EDs
{Ed002's Note - (1) No. (2) Johnson perhaps. (3) I don't know. (4) An eight year deal eh? I don't see Cavani moving to LIverpool.}

4) the thing is if suarez penciled a 5 year deal, it wouldnt mean a lot if anything. he can rub it off with a rubber if he decided to change his mind.

I said pen.... and i said i dont see him moving just what would make suarez pen in 5 more? and it wasnt a yes or no it was a Who would they be there scouting? {Ed001's Note - the rules forbid 8 year deals.}

.... thank you ed for clearing the year deal things up. but for some reason everyone seems to have left question one out. who would be scouting if they were at stamford bridge? {Ed001's Note - I would hope it was the young lad that Napoli brought on as a late sub, whose name escapes me, but was the sole reason I wanted to watch the match. They just bought him from South America, but he is one to watch for sure, he is going to be a star.}

Ed are u on about Eduardo Vargas ? DNS {Ed002's Note - I imagine he is but given he only arrived in January it seems an unlikely buy this summer.}

Eduardo vargas is the name ed...what makes you think he will be so good? i have heard of him but havent watched him in detail

AusRed {Ed002's Note - We knew that there had been interest in Eduado Vargas who was seen to be a real talent from both Italian and English clubs (Liverpool, Chelsea, Napoli, Inter Milan, Palermo and probably others). However, there were concerns from the English clubs as to whether or not he will be able to obtain international clearance immediately making England a less likely destination than Italy or Russia. If he were to move and go on loan, then an English club is taking a risk that he continues to play competitive internationals for his country. Chelsea, Zenit and Napoli made offers. Zenit's offer was not welcomed by the player and Chelsea could not offer commitments about where the player would be come the summer after a six month loan back to Universidad as it was unknown if a work permit could be obtained. As such, Napoli was the most likely destination and that is where he went.}

Why do people still bang the torres drum?? get over it people. he's never coming back!! we should be thanking the gods for that. the guy is the second coming of michael owen - electric at first, scoring goals for fun, couple of recurring injuries, lost a few yards of pace, thought the grass was greener where the money was, and ultimately proved to the world that he was finished.

I just said torres as i had heard torres was another reason why they went mate thats all. i clearly dont see a return looming. and ah vargas. shame. all i will say

Stan Collymore confirmed on twitter that Comoli was at Bilbao!!

If commoli was at bilbao then he would be scouting llorente and javi martinez

15 Mar 2012 21:22:33
Hey eds, are we interested in klaas Jan hunterlar, he has 36 goals in 37 games, and how much would schalke be willing to sell him for?

Joshlfc {Ed002's Note - No interest from Liverpool that we are aware of, but I understand he is open to hearing any offers made to Schalke, but they certainly do not want to sell as it is going well for him in Gelsenkirchen.}

Huntelaar would be a better player for LFC than Cavani imo

15 Mar 2012 21:19:06
Just wondering Ed which signings were AVB's (if any).

I feel he has had it very harsh {Ed002's Note - Meireles was.}

15 Mar 2012 20:23:13
Are chelsea about to sell off AVB summer signings such as Romelu Lukaku. {Ed002's Note - Neither were AVB signings but Lukaku will likely go on loan at least for the start of next season. Romeu is fit again and will see some more time on the pitch this season.}

Didn't realise romelu lukaku was 2 different people :/ {Ed002's Note - Yep, I missed that - but two answers for teh price of one.}

15 Mar 2012 19:47:14
eds have liverpool made any enquirys to any players and has commolli been spotted watching any players/teams? {Ed002's Note - It is very early yet and you need to read the posts to see what is known right now.}

15 Mar 2012 19:41:59
hey eds

now that napoli are out on the champions league and not doing great in the league is there a chance cavani could come to us? english football is better that italian i believe and we have europa which is probobly the best napoli are gonna get.. also i think we could afford him and if we get matt philps aswell philips could cross some decent balls in for him. finally i think the players we sell could pay at least half of cavani's fee

thanks eds brilliant work {Ed002's Note - I don't see Cavani moving to Liverpool. Sorry.}

He's not even that good. Over rated from what I've seen of him.

15 Mar 2012 19:38:03
any chances on athletico bilbaos Javi Martínez looks incredible on the ball {Ed002's Note - Manchester City are looking to replace Nigel De Jong in the summer and Javi Garcia and Javi Martinez are the two players they are looking at. I was told a while back that Inter Milan may make a bid for Javi if they decide not to take Juraj Kucka from co-owners Genoa. I am not convinced that Bilboa will want to sell the player any time soon, and if they do they will want 40M euro with Barcelona and Real Madrid being possible destinations. Garcia has signed a new deal at Benfica so I imagine Martinez will become a serious target for Manchester City.}

15 Mar 2012 19:30:23
U do realize the more u talk about Suarez ed002, the more questions ull get asked? {Ed002's Note - I just answer the questions. If everyone stopped asking if he is going to leave then it won't be a problem.}

15 Mar 2012 19:25:03
any interest in doumbia and do we have a chance of getting him {Ed002's Note - There was an enquiry from Newcastle in January about Doumbia and it is likely if there is another English team who have actually enquired it will be Arsenal. No doubt other clubs have had scouts at games but that is some way from making any serious enquiries for the player. Doumbia does a good job of talking himself up and CSKA will likely want £25M or so for the player. Getting through to the last 16 of the Champions League made a January move unlikely. I would not hold your breath over him moving to Liverpool.}

15 Mar 2012 18:59:37
hi ed, is there any chance of any of these happening?

gaston ramirez- bologna £12m
klaas jan huntelaar- schalke £15m
mauricio isla- udinese £9m
javi martinez- bilbao £20m
seydou keita- barca £5m
iker muniain- bilbao £19m
edinson cavani- napoli £33m
ezequiel lavezzi- napoli £28m
ibrahim afellay- barca £9m
matias suarez- anderlecht £10m
wilfried zaha- palace £5m
gonzalo higuain- real £22m
diego godin- atletico £15m

i know its a lot, but im a true red and if there is any chance, rate them all of 10, (the possibility)!

thanx
{Ed002's Note - It is far too early to say with any confidence but all have been discussed before. Try the search fdunction.}

Ed do you truly think anyone of these could come? {Ed002's Note - There would perhaps be a chance of Ramirez, Isla, Keita, Zaha and Godin if there were interest.}

The prices seem a little off... by like half price!

Muniain for 19m? more like 40m now! and higuain would be more like 33m.

I can see gaston ramirez coming if suarez stays, huntelaar and isla would be quality additions and doubt we'l get anyone else on the list - esp. zaha as he is black and kenny isnt known for his black signings.

15 Mar 2012 18:43:07
i think comolli isthere to watch toquero...watch him

What is comolli at bilboa?

15 Mar 2012 18:38:37
yo eds

i heard about sterling might leave and even if it isnt true do you think dalglish may be concerned about this and maybe give him a few appearances near the end of the season against lower oppositionas a sub so he dosnt leave?

also i know you said liverpool are intrested in matt philips and i have two questions

do you think he will be good enough for the prem and for are starting 11?

and have liverpool stated there intrest or do you know from another source?

thaks eds {Ed001's Note - there is no suggestion he will leave whatsoever apart from lies in the papers. Ask the lad himself.}

I would ask the lad but i don't know him, do you know where i can get in touch? {Ed001's Note - twitter.}

Do you really think KK would play anyone just because he says 'play me more or Ill leave' ?

15 Mar 2012 18:27:07
Former liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is set to make a sensational return to Anfield on a deal until the end of the season!

Ino just heard you forgot to mention about ian rush and dalglish coming out of retirment and joining aswell though !:)

Some bloke by the name of Paisley was asking around for some Saturday afternoon work in the club shop to...lol

Not half what he once was, now more of a demi-god really.

Suffolk'n Red

Jan molby is coming back until May. With his 'mobility' he can just stand in centre midfield destroying the opposition with his passing (which he still does in the masters).

Yes, and so are Ian Rush, John Barnes and Johnny Aldridge.

Why not resign John Toshack, Kevin Keegan and Roger Hunt while we're at it?

15 Mar 2012 18:09:03
hi everyone i think llorente might be an option for liverpool comolli in bilbao now watching wat ya think eds???? {Ed002's Note - Fernando Llorente is interesting Spurs, PSG and Manchester City. Barcelona are considering their future options which may involve a move for the player. Liverpool were interested prior to buying Carroll.}

Should have gone for him instead of carroll
llorente is class {Ed001's Note - we did but they rejected our offers, even when we asked them to name their price.}

15 Mar 2012 18:03:52
hey eds i heard you say you think a goalkeeper will come and i just wanted to make sure that is a back up keeper not one to replace reina?

also what players do you think will leave of your totaly honest and who do you think will come in?
ino its along way til the transfer season but how it looks at the moment

finally i would love torres to come back, if suarez goes or not, ino hes been poor since his move to chelsea but i think that because of 3 reason
1. he hasnt made a partner ship with any one(gerrard)
2. the fans arnt on his side
3.he dosnt have the passion he did for liverpool at chelsea

please post eds and thanks, keep upthe great work {Ed002's Note - As said earlier, it will be a replacement for Doni. Aurelio, Amoo, Aquilani, Pacheco and Cole will also leave. Maxi, Kuyt, Johnson and Suarez may leave. I am not going to suggest who might arrive at this time.}

Thanks eds, as for torres? {Ed002's Note - I don't see him returning to Liverpool.}

Thank god he's not!! Hes horrendous, and if he doesnt have the same kind of passion for chelseaa that he had for us, then why did he leave my friend? Because he doesnt care who he plays for, as long as they are a 'big' club and pay him handsomely, no respect, no loyalty, no passion.
KiwiRed

What, All our best players leaving ??

The young keeper we should sign is Jack Butland of Birminham , that kid is going to be immense

15 Mar 2012 17:59:02
I was in betting shop man comes in betting shop saying can he put £200. On hamsik to join Liverpool ed do u think he will be good for Liverpool {Ed002's Note - If Hamsik were to move then Manchester City and AC Milan would be the likely choices but I doubt it. Again no known interest from Liverpool.}

15 Mar 2012 17:58:50
question to ed002 you seem very set on the idea that suarez will go in the summer i just want to know why exactly you are of such a strong opinion. from what i can see kenny and the owners have backed suarez as much as they can. surely the owners would not have embraced a player they wished to get rid of. Suarez himself also seems to be enjoying his football and gives 100per cent every game(not really what you would expect from a player who wants to or believes he will be shipped on in the summer)
Johnaldinioh {Ed002's Note - I have no interest in repeatedly revisiting this subject. It just brings a mass of grief from the vegetables who then get themselves banned.}

Cant take a bit of Banter can you ed002 lol just pulling your strings. However if your going to come out and make bold statement such as Suarez is off then you have to be a little prepared for some abuse, simply because Suarez is loved by the majority of LFC fans despite his habit of getting himself in trouble. Its just like telling United fans that Rooney is off, Arsenal fans that RVP is going or Chelsea fans (such as yourself) that Mr Abramovich is broke oj more like saying Lampard was going a couple of years ago (getting on a bit now so dont know if many chelsea fans might feel like cashing in?)

RAH, YNWA (p.s banter welcome by ed002 ) {Ed002's Note - Banter is fine, abuse is not.}

Haha I know ed002 I was only messing with you lol. If Suarez is off who do you think is the best person to replace him? P.s not asking who you think "will" replace him but who you would go for in Kenny`s position?

RAH, YNWA {Ed002's Note - Gaston Ramirez I think an attacking midfield player would give the club options that it does not presently have.}

Would love gaston ramirez, hope suarez stays though
NZL_REd

Why does the fact that the owners embraced him mean he will not leave? Did you expect the owners to give him the cold shoulder on the podium at Wembley?

15 Mar 2012 17:34:48
Ed002 i know in your opinion Suarez will go but did you see the Love shown to him by Commoli and Werner after the Cup final it was big hugs all round when they collected their medals and held the cup no other player recieved the same affection as he did i hope he stays he is linking up very well with Gerrard, In the everton game it kind of reminded me of when Torres and Stevie used to link up their play

MJ

Are you living in the real world?its a football club not gentlemens club

15 Mar 2012 16:54:26
eds, in your opinion what should be liverpools main priority in regards summer signings, position wise ? {Ed002's Note - Replacing Suarez; wide right; striker; goalkeeper.}

So suarez will defo leave eds?
taran {Ed002's Note - Not for sure but I suspect he will.}

I take it according to the knowledgable ed002 that suarez is off then, probably to chelsea since their one off win last night. i suppose Guardiola, Messi etc will sign for chelsea and we will get irish league players. sorry for ranting but ed002 does not seem to give Liverpool any credit the reason chelsea get 'big' players is not because of champions league its because their owner can dish out big money for wages. they will be scuppered when the fair play starts. {Ed002's Note - You are clearly just an ignorant jerk. I have made my opinions on Suarez very well known and explained that interest in him is from PSG, from Palermo and from Juventus. Why you wish to suggest he is going to move to Chelsea is beyond me. I have no idea where you get off on this "any credit" issue as I have shared what I know with you and broadly it has all been correct. Yet some anonymous cretinous piece of wattle like you has start bleating.}

Ha quality! U a chelsea fan by any chance ed002

If suarez doesn't leave as ed002 keeps saying will he/she come on here and admit to being wrong beacuse he/she is totally convinced he's off in every response to liverpool fans {Ed002's Note - Can you point me to where I have said that I am "totally convinvced" Suarez is leaving. If people keep asking the same question they will get the same answer until the situation changes. If I am wrong I will be pleased to admit it as I have done before.}

Personally I hope we start protesting the new Yonks BEFORE we see any more star sales.
Selling Luis would be an even bigger insult to us.

To the person saying ed 002 is completely convinced suarez is leaving etc, read the first comment.

Hi ed, you know when we had Rafa Benitez..we made a lot of inspired signings the likes of Xabi Alonso and Torres spring to mind? But obviously a lot of young Spanish young players used him as their way into England. If we still had him I honestly think we would be able to attract Javi Martinez & Llorente? I don't know what he had but he made loads of great signings..obviously a few flopped but by the laws of probability some were bound to like Aqualani & Voronin.
But in my opinion I think King Kenny will step down and the end of the season and Rafa will come back! He's rejected offers from China & Russia. I've been watching Rafa's interviews on the BBC, and he said he would love to come back to LFC it was be great. But he doesn't want to put pressure on KK and wait for him to step down. He said he wants to go to a team with history and a good project! Imagine if he has the owners we have now on top of what he brought last time!
What do you think are the chances of Kenny Dalglish stepping down end of season, and Rafael Benitez coming back?
Cheers mate! {Ed002's Note - I think there is a good chance that Dalglish will leave, but not much chance of Benitez returning.}

I would like the singings but the football we played under benitez was generally boaring. i don't think he will win us a title because he is too defensive. kenny has the right tactics. i would love to see benitez back but as director of football, which is really unlikely because commolli would have to be demoted and benitez would likely not take the job in the first place

He was brilliant, his tactics weren't too defensive but i know what you mean! It's all well and good playing good, but not getting the three points is not helping..and with KK not telling the players it's not good enough doesn't help.

15 Mar 2012 15:46:04
Is it true eds that lewandowski's agent has rejected a new contract offer from dortmund {Ed002's Note - Dortmund's Lewandowski has been watched by Liverpool, Rubin Kazan, Spartak Moscow (who are concerned about losing Welliton) and Lille. I very much suspect Bayern Munich would be top of the list with a cheque in hand should he not agree an extension at Dortmund. At present they have been unable to reach agreement over a new deal.}

15 Mar 2012 14:45:28
Hello Ed002,
is Liverpool going to bring in a keeper in the summer? If so - who do you expect? Will it rather be a British or non-British (young?) keeper? Thanks. {Ed002's Note - I suspect one will arrive as they were looking in January. Doni will likely move back to Brazil - possibly to Santos. Interestingly, Santos' goalkeeper, Rafael, has attracted the attention of Roma who have made an offer circa 6M euro. A move is quite likely in the summer and I am aware of confirmed interest from Atletico Madrid, Palermo and Spurs. Perhaps Liverpool will take a look.}

15 Mar 2012 14:20:08
Eds whats this rumour about sterling reportedly seeking a move away, really hope he breaks into first team soon.... {Ed002's Note - There is a rumour that he has said to friends that he is struggling to settle in the north and has a desire for first team chances. It is suggested that Spurs may be interested.}

Sterlings friend to paper:

i spoke to raheem today he does not want a move away from liverpool. he will only go if they want him out. he himself thinks of himself as a kid, and football is not his main priority at the moment... and left it at that.

He is a very talented prospect and has a chance to become of the clubs best players. With a very busy schedule coming up, perhaps some of the young players will get a chance if dalglish decides to rotate the squad to avoid fatigue and injuries.

According to reports in the south it seems as though he its looking to return to london

He's nowhere near ready for first team football yet

15 Mar 2012 13:51:05
Hi Eds. Are we still interested in James McCarthey of Wigan?

Cheers

DanRed {Ed002's Note - The price asked last summer drove interested parties away.}

Alright ed i know your right but if wigan are relegated or if he doesn't sing an extension to the deal then his price will go down so liverpool may again be interested ? {Ed002's Note - I have no idea, sorry.}

15 Mar 2012 13:14:17
Hi eds, just a quick one - any ideas of wingers from the PL we'd be interested in? Would we be able to sign Walcott, Lennon or Albrighton, perhaps? Maybe Matt Jarvis?

Thanks, Os Red {Ed002's Note - There is interest in Matt Phillips. I have no idea if Liverpool are interested in those players you list but if they were, if the players are for sale and if a deal could be agreed over transfer fees and terms for the players then I don't see why not. But there appears to be no interest.}

Matt Philips, We've got enough under permorming best of British thanks

15 Mar 2012 12:07:31
Hi Ed's,

Haven't posted in a while but reading posts today it's clear people are not talking about the right wing. I don't think we have any players whose natural position is right wing. Hope we can get one in. Also, if Downing is out we have no natural left wingers either. Talk of strikers and centre mids based on positions we actually need is a little off (I hope).7
Cheers,
Bommy

15 Mar 2012 11:43:00
Eds, any interest in Burak Yilmaz for Trabzonspor, He's scored 30 goals in 25 apps? {Ed002's Note - None that we know of from Liverpool but he has attracted interest from Beyer Leverkusen and Newcastle.}

15 Mar 2012 11:09:50
A new rumour I heard is that Luis Suarez is set to commit himself to Liverpool and sign a new 5 year contract at the end of this year, although he has 3 year left on his current one.

Lets hope so

It wouldn't matter if he had a ten year contract they mean nothing and neither does there word. Just don't worry over players coming or going they will always be replaced, just enjoy him while he's here weather that be 3 months 3yrs or longer!

Ed is there a chance of pedro from barca or damiao signing in the summer? {Ed002's Note - Pedro no. Leandro Damiao probably no, but he remains of interest to several clubs including Spurs, PSG, Roma, Sporting Lisbon, Inter Milan and Juventus. Lyon, Arsenal and Barcelona seem to have dropped any interest they had in the player. January 2013 may be a more likely time to move than the summer although with bids from Spurs and Roma on the table, PSG or Juventus may force a summer move - and these remain the most likely destinations right now.}

Ed do you think there is a chance that carrol will go in the summer? {Ed002's Note - THere is obviously a chance anyone can go, but I very much doubt that he will.}

Hope he stays, much improved and glimpses of real quality. Holding ball up well and diagonal cross field pas the other night was sublime

hey eds, dont know if u discussed this before, just have a few questions in regards to pacheco. He looks like he still cares about the club, recent tweets show. a few questions. Did he seek a loan to gain some first team experience to bring back to liverpool or did he seek one to try and move away? another question, do u know if the staff forced the loan to get rid of him? to be honest, i do like pacheco. i think he can turn into a great forward one day and if he does come back, this loan may help him a little. thanks eds.

red moose {Ed001's Note - there were issues with his attitude, he was turning up late for training and then not bothering to put effort in. That was why he was farmed out on loan to Norwich, to give him a chance to sort out his head. He didn't do enough there to even get them to come back in for him on loan, so he was sent out on long term loan. It is highly unlikely he will come back at the end of it, unless he starts to make an impression.}

Pacecho was an superb talented player. But when he lack the attitude and dont puts in enough effort, he will stop his development. He have been floating on his talent until a year ago. then gets passed by other players that have the right attitude

Has he not been sold to Atletico madrid and then loaned out to Rayo Vallacano with an option to buy ?

YNWA {Ed002's Note - He is on loan to Atletico with an option to buy, and they have loaned him to Rayo Vallacano.}

^what?!?! you can loan someone who is on loan to you? {Ed002's Note - Yes.}

Has the world gone mad how can a club let someone go who tweets big love for it..disgraceful

Hi eds ,do u think charlie adam will be sold in the summer considering we would buy a central midfielder in the summer {Ed001's Note - I doubt it.}

Adam is NOT good enough to play for liverpool

Sold? To who? He isn't good enough for any prem team. I'd pay to have him away from our club. Thinks he is far far better than what he really is.
Rant over.

The palermo president said that they will 100% sign suarez. This made me laugh love how he thinks its already a done deal. I hope we keep him but if we don't surely its tapping up. They should be reported to fifa.

He can flippin do one unless he coughs up at least £50mil.

What makes you so sure an informal agreement hasn't already been reached? Negotiations for big-name players often start months before transfer windows open.

I realize that getting a CB won't be a top priority considering some of the depth Liverpool has, but what are the chances of landing Dann this summer(especially if Blackburn get relegated)?

Thanks.

Dann is average at best no coincidence his last 2 clubs have been poor teams cos thats about his level need top quality not more average over hyped british players

Can't see Dann being a target to be honest. Like you said, CB is the position we have the most strength in depth, with Skrtel, Agger, Coates, Kelly, Carragher, Wilson¦

We don't need another centre back, especially one who is as average as Scott Dann.

Hey eds just a quick question as u can all see merieles hasn't bin happy since the departure of AVB and will most likely leave u think we have a chance of bringing him bck 2 lfc I know some ppl don't r8 him bt personally I think he was very creative for us and played well with Suarez thnx.... DNS {Ed001's Note - why would we want him? He was awful in almost every game, except for a run of about 4 games. He shirked every tackle, even when he was favourite to win it and his passing was woeful, giving the ball away more often than not.}

Strange how this "terrible player" was Supporters Player of the Year last yr ie for EVERY club in England.

Basically, NESV broke their word on upping his wages from rubbish to market rate. No wonder he gave Commoli a V sign after scoring!
Once again the NESV spin machine distorts the truth!

couldn't handle a tackle

Loving it Edd, The sooner we get an agree with Edd button the better. Please make it work,

We don't him back but please don't make such ridiculous remarks. Meireles was our best player by far last year with Lucas.

He was average. So we sold him and bought Charlie Adam an even s**tter tackler, passer and all round footballer.

Merieles scored when we needed a goal... Yh I admit he lacked defensive qualities but attacking wise he was fantastic... He linked with Suarez very well aswell {Ed001's Note - he gave the ball away almost constantly, he was terrible in almost every aspect and he has been just as poor at Chelsea.}
