Hi eds and reds just read somewhere city could b ready to make a massive bid 4 suarez in the summer if they lose aguero to Madrid just wondering if anyone else had heard anything? Thanks in advance

{Ed002's Note - They don't want to sell Aguero. Suarez's representatives have been looking elsewhere. If MC were to lose Aguero to Real Madrid }

Thanks eds002 :)

Hilarious. It's like the club don't exist.
He will NOT be sold anywhere if we finish in the top 4. END OF :)))))))

Hi Ed02 all the reports coming out lately from suarez/his friends cavani etc suggest that suarez is quite happy at Liverpool, particularly if we make champions league as we are in a good position to do or potentially even better, but realistically that is more of a dream.

I know he has said earlier that he wants a move but is it possible that this may have changed and perhaps his agents are just contacting clubs because afterall they are agents and they want their clients to make moves, particularly a client like suarez who would go for big money and I would assume his agent and representatives would get a significant pay day.

And these are just rumours but it is that there is only a release clause if we don't make champions league. Despite what a player might want, the summer proved that in the end it will be Liverpool who will have a big say on what happens.

What do you think?

{Ed002's Note - He should shut up about Barcelona then. The new provisions of his contract have not come in yet.}

What's he said about Barca? is it that he wants to play for them, or just another roumnour from the press.

Froget the saying 'ses sells' Football is all about 'Suarez sells'.

I just hope the press leave him alone this summer. I truely believe Suarez wants to stay at LFC. You only have to look at his body language, he believes he can win everything with LFC!

{Ed002's Note - All he has said is that one day he sees himself playing for them.}

Makes me laugh this stuff. All the media and the majority of fans thought he was leaving last summer. Luis Suarez best player in the league, still playing for Liverpool, sat top of the scoring charts by an absolute mile, signed a new contract, constantly saying how happy he is at the club. Stop worrying Reds! He's going nowhere! Just remember nobody likes him because he's a bad boy character who's incredibly talented (just like many are bitter about Our club) so they'll all wish he left and try to push him abroad, but he's staying at Liverpool

Seen a few reports stating that we are looking at trying to sign Moreno of Seville before the world cup begins. Anyone know if there is any truth that we are even looking at him?

From what I've seen and his age looking at roughly 20-25 million. There may be a possibility of Seville selling for less due to financial problems.

Main rivals wouldn't be Chelsea as their main interest is in Shaw of Southampton. Which leaves United and Madrid.

Would also like to see us try and sign Montoya on a free transfer from Barca. To have both as our fullbacks for a combined fee of 25 million tops is still really good business. Both are young and have massive potential.

We could recoup around 6 million from selling Johnson, and possibly another 4-5 million from Coates.

Full back wise this would still leave us with Flanaghan, Moreno, Montoya, Kelly and Enrique. With centre backs being Sakho, Agger, Skrtle, Ilori and Toure.

If we qualify for next seasons Champions League surely this will make us a more appealing club to sign for.

Alberto Moreno is going to Madrid mate. Its 99.9% done.

Coentrao is leaving Madrid. I heard that Chelsea will offer Courtois for Coentrao.

Have it very from a very reliable friend that Jordan Henderson is going to be out for the next 6 weeks, he has today been to a specialist hospital and had a minor operation on his thumb.
Gutted for the lad after the influence he's had in recent weeks but would suggest it means that Lucas is ready to return. I would only suggest this as Henderson was initially supposed to be in on Tuesday but put off the appointment so he could play in the Fulham game.

If he's off for 6 weeks after a minor operation on his thumb then I think he needs to see a different surgeon. Either that or he's replacing Mignolet in goal.

Get a grip! 6 weeks for a thumb! Pretty sure any thumb op could wait till after the WC anyway.

Hehe. He won't be out at all, mind you 6 weeks. Hilarious.
The man himself said he won't miss any games. That's much more like the truth won't you think.

I also think 6 weeks is excessive, but they always go with a longer duration as a precaution.
Considering that the same hospital has done many operations on other sports stars including Gerrard and Jason Robinson (Rugby) and Amir Khan's hand specialist is there, I would suggest that there is no better for him to have gone to.
He was initially booked in for Tuesday but put it off to play against Fulham, he obviously wants to make sure he's fit in time for selection for the World Cup.
So I agree he won't be out for the full 6 weeks but that's what he's been given for it to heal fully.
Wrightington Hospital sees to many sports stars.

Lots of doctors on here.

I broke my thumb and had to have it pinned, 6 weeks is normal, you don't want to mess around with thumbs if its a bad break.

Still not 100% after two years.

He ain't a keeper

Apparently he's 50/50 to play against Arsenal
