TO Big welsh scouser. . The following statement loses credibility when you mention Lakshmi Mittal.
With the 6th of October nearing ever closer the fight to buy Liverpool FC is hotting up. And Liverpool have recived an official bid for the club. This bid has been made by Petr Kellner and is belived to be in the region of £600m, this he belives will give the americans a decent proffit after clearing their debts, also encourage them to sell quickly. He believes that would alow him to spend £300m on a new stadium and would give £100m to RH. Another two parties have declared interest but are yet to table a bid, these are Anil Agarwal, and the Mittal Family (Aditya Mittal, Lakshmi Mittal).

Lakshmi Mittal is currently the largest sharehold at QPR, Now im not an expert on the Football Associations rules and regulations, but Id bet my house on the fact that you can not own one club and be a majority share holder at another.

Google these words - "Markus von Hohenzollern-Viet" "Teplice" - it should be simple, yes?
And the result? Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Not a single reference to a "Markus von Hohenzollern-Viet".

According to reports on German radio last night and this morning, Markus von Hohenzollern-Viet will be at the Birmingham game today with one of the American investors.
I still think this is one of the stronger 'under the table' offers and one that has courted only major publicity in Germany and the Czech Republic (he apparently has a factory in Teplice) so that's one of the reasons many have not heard of him.
Too many people posting nonsense and yet when a group is mentioned (like Viet's) because you and your mate ain't heard of him, you rubbish the rumour.
This rumour has been doing the rounds in the German media for six days and has legs.

Liverpool to confirm that the Takeover will go ahead within the next 5 years
The new owners will be people, that's almost definate! !
Probably men or women, may be both!
They will be from one of the many countries of the world.
They may/ will have money, or at least have the ability to lie to the Banks to obtain enough finance to buy the Club
Two persons already ruled out of the race to own our club are any PRATS called Hick and Gillett.

Sean Quinn is nearly bust. His company reported 162 million losses last year. He bought shares in Anglo not allied Irish bank out of loans from the bank. Share price fell thru the roof. His insurance is in admin. he is a private family man who would not be seen in a Liverpool jersey because Gaelic football is his sport.There is no rich builders in Ireland anymore so there will be no involvement from any Irish.

I posted the 'rumour' that Robin Li was to take over the Reds, and I am pleased to see several sites, althouth not naming him directly, have published stories which tie in with the news.
Li, altho a Chinese national and his internet 'search engine' is mainly based in China, 'deals' out of Hong Kong, mainly due to tax incentives and a more direct 'connection' with the west.
Since Google was banned in China, his business has taken off and his offering is as good as, if not better than Google, therefore he is desparate to launch in the rest of the world.
He see's buying Liverpool as the first step to getting the brand into Europe and the global appeal of the club, will get the name known throughout the world.
As for the person who stated he could not 'buy out' the standard charter sponsorship deal - As long as he pays off the remainder of the contract and a little 'goodwill', he can and will do it - standard business practice.

WHO THINKS UP THIS RUBBISH - Quinn is bust - a ruined man - his insurance group is in administration, he lost most of his money in Allied Irish Bank which has now been completely nationalised (money he lost in this would have cleared our debts). PLEASE PLEASE STOP TYPING RUBBISH ABOUT OUR CLUB - we need a buyer but look like we will only find out when it actually happens.

Yet another source (Barcap) raises it's head and lets somthing leek to the media!
IF you believe this article then ask yourselves after all this time why is a "source" from Barcap is saying this now? Why disclose who or were the main bidder is from? Why tell us after all this time that there is up to 5 bidders on the table?
RBS, Broughton and Barcleys/ Barcap have said nothing in weeks. I'm very suspicious of this article because they say that in the article that the source is Barcap who probably have the strictest NDA's as they are in charge of the sale of the club.
We will probably hear from another "source" next week that Shiekh Mohammed, Sheikh Khlalifa, QIA, Larry Ellison, Mukesh Ambani, Yaya Kirdi, The Sultan of Brunei and who ever else the media say is now leading the race to buy our Great Club.
I think we've all got to a point now unless it's an offical statement saying we are sold/ not sold then we will believe it.
The next few weeks you can guarantee that the media will have a field day making up stories about our Great Club.
