Are there any plans to bring in another left back to cover Robertson? Moreno can’t be here for much longer surely, and he isn’t really adequate cover anyway.
Also when we dropped interest in fekir did we decide that we are happy with what we have in that position or is it still seen as a position that needs to be filled? Any names of players we are looking at, if there are any?

Do you believe we will go after a striker in the summer Ed001? I'm prompted to ask after last night because that was definetly a game highlighting our need for someone clincal up front. Maxi Gomez might me a shout maybe someone we've looked at if you know?

Is Timo Werner going to be happy to be back up? Would he offer more to the team than Firmino? No on both counts in my opinion, and he'd cost an arm and a leg - highly doubtful.

Matip out for 6 weeks with broken collar bone apparently.
Lovren and van djik need to stay fit then! i was actually really impressed with him last night too. hopefully trent and milner are okay.

Testing times but I have confidence in Klopp to find the right fix. I’d love to see Fab have a game at RB, I know it’s not his preferred position but he plays it well enough for Brazil for me to want to have a look. Trent has the potent to be as flexible on the pitch as Millie so now could be his chance to fill some boots.

I think it is to his credit he played for 90 minutes. Also he has played well in the last few games so will be a loss to the squad. Just hope Trent or Milner are fit.

Rumours this morning that we're going to try to sign Pascal Gross from Brighton for £15m in January. Is there any truth to it, Eds?
From the times I've seen him, he's not someone who particularly stood out.

Thanks Ed001. I guess I wasn't really paying much attention to him when I've seen Brighton. It sounds like someone that would be useful in the squad by your description of him. But if he's as crucial as you say to their attacking play, I doubt they'd be able to replace him for the figure quoted. Just passing on what I'd read.

{Ed001's Note - bit soon to be sure, it takes a while for any swelling to go down for precautionary x-rays but they think Millie and Trent had cramp. Matip picked up a shoulder problem, but they won't know for sure how bad it is just yet.}

Worst comes to worst, and Matip and Lovren are out as well as Gomez, do you go Fabinho there for the weekend? Probably the most natural defender and got a bit of size to him for the inevitable Lukaku and Fellaini combo.
