Now west brom offer lpool asking price of assaidi 7 million
Is this true
1. I hope so.
2. I hope they know what wages he is asking and are happy to pay.
They should know he tormented them.

Eds, the BBC are reporting a 12 million fee is agreed. However, I don't want to discuss figures. My question is, is Suso part of this deal? AND if so, is it a loan or permanent move?
{Ed001's Note - I don't know yet mate sorry.}
Hopfully suso stays! I see big things from him.
I really hope Suso doesn't go he's a great player and a nice fella.
The deal does not involve any player its straight cash.
Its also states he will will be joining fellow Spain u21 Suso, seems like his staying
Ed I'm interested to know, again without figures, we've been told on here LFC knew the price to get Moreno, that we've tried to include things like Suso or instalments, incentives etc
Just interested, is the deal that's being reported the same one Sevilla been asking for all along? Just cause £12m sounds like Ayre has negotiated a deal lower then was expected.
Have we waited all summer for £12m? For the no1 target? Surely it wasn't as easy as this was it? Where's the £20m plus price gone?
{Ed002's Note - I have spent most of the day stuck in Spanish airport lounges and have just got back. I am not aware of what the final deal is.}
12 Aug 2014 18:54:33
Hi Edds,
Any interest in Ben Arfa from Liverpool or any other club? Seems he would be available with his bad relationship with Pardew and the club. All the best!
{Ed001's Note - no, from Liverpool.}
Are we a fitness camp? If so I better sign on lol
12 Aug 2014 18:50:05
Everton want assaidi on loan and west brom
What! Everton want west brom. What for?
Everton management just want to swap theirs for the West Brom supporters, fully understand ;)
12 Aug 2014 18:42:14
Hello eds so guess moreno is a Liverpool player then is it true
{Ed001's Note - as I have said all along, the deal only needed to be closed, we knew what we had to do and now we have finally got it done. In no small part thanks to him being keen on the move. It would be a major shock if he wasn't in the squad by the weekend.}
12 Aug 2014 17:48:59
Hey ed01, any info on:
1. Glen Jonson going;
2. Konoplyanka
3. How would you expect our defence to line up for the coming season? I was pleasantly surprised with Javi Manquilo, even though it was only a friendly. Any info what the coaching staff thinks of Flannagan, Sakho and Kelly, I'd pretty much would like them to play a role this season.
{Ed001's Note - 1. Nothing doing right now, QPR couldn't match his wage demands. It hasn't gone completely but it is not looking like he will be leaving right now.
2. No change, we know the price, we just have to match it, but he is currently holding out for us. If we don't get something done soon though, he may end up just going elsewhere rather than stay where he is.
3. I would expect it to be mainly Lovren-Sakho when both are fit. Moreno and Johnson look the most likely full backs at this moment, though Flanno will certainly be pushing Johnson hard. The coaching staff like all 3 of the players, but Kelly is unlikely to get much playing time and so is being allowed to consider moves. Sakho is seen as very much a first choice player when fully fit. Flanno is loved for his attitude and willingness to learn, but I am not convinced he will be chosen over Johnson, mostly because of the contract.}
Thanks ed, you are awesome :>
{Ed001's Note - funny you should say that, I was just telling someone that earlier, but she didn't believe me....}
12 Aug 2014 20:45:14
Ed01. Absolutely spot on Mate. Flanno would be starting more from next Season once Johnson goes out.
I agree Drigan
Thanks again Ed001 for your insight.
I personally would be very happy if we signed Konoplaynka.
{Ed001's Note - thank you mate.}
So £32 mill later but with Johnson still in the picture, our defensive frailties will remain this season.
It does seem somewhat strange to to splash our on a new left back, new right back (albeit not first choice) and a new centre back but to have our worst defensive player not only remain, but seemingly destined for a starting berth. Can only hope something can be worked out with QPR.
Possibly Ozone - Can you blame Rodgers for that?
So you don't think Manquillo is even in contention for starting as an RB
{Ed001's Note - I actually was just a little distracted and forgot all about him!}
If Kono keeps holding out for us and trying to push a move, he sounds like he really wants the deal. Always a winner in my books - but would leave us heavy on the number of attacking midfielders.
13 Aug 2014 15:08:04
Ed since kono is holding out for us. Do u think we will do what we needed to do and closed the deal then?
{Ed001's Note - I think it will probably be a case of letting his contract run out for him to move, being honest. Though that is merely an opinion. Just thought I best point that out, as I have no idea if his club are keen to sell him now, unlike January.}
12 Aug 2014 19:41:02
Confirmed by the Echo. Moreno in. Kelly out.
Well EMS I have been saying Moreno would sign from day 1 and i'm glad its finally done he will prove to be a very valuable player for us.
12 Aug 2014 22:28:43
I admit defeat mate ;) in the end we actually got him for a good fee :)
12 Aug 2014 19:36:57
Moreno is done.
Medical later this week
Owners won't pay eto's wage demands
Club still want konoplyanko
Kelly to Palace
Borini to Sunderland
Toure to Trabzonspor
BR still wants Bony
12 Aug 2014 21:59:00
lall that plus assaidi to west brom & Konoplyanka in would round off this window nicely. I'm off to have a word in Begovic's ear.
12 Aug 2014 19:32:26
Kelly gone for 1.5m and Moreno just needs to agree personals after successful medical
What a shopping spree!

12 Aug 2014 19:25:00
Moreno deal agreed apparently, plus Moreno not at the game. Make of it what you will. £12 million is the quoted sum by the way.
12 Aug 2014 19:01:06
Supposedly we've agreed a fee to sign Moreno finally! Apparently it's £12 million. Can't see that being the case, probably significantly more with add ons and the like. Kelly is also set to leave according to reports for £1.5million, daylight robbery. Think Kelly should've been given a chance at RB ahead of Johnson competing with Manquillo and Flanagan at LB.
12 Aug 2014 19:35:14
Think the other way. kelly could still have a career with regular playing time. Johnson wouldn't move until next year.
All the best wishes to Kelly
Maybe 12m plus suso if true.
12 Aug 2014 20:24:27
I believe it's up to 18M depending on future clauses. Regarding Kelly it's a shame, but with him being brittle like a cracker it's probably for the best in the long run. Good luck to him!
Before Martin Kellys injuries a couple of years ago he was one of the most promising young defenders in England.
If we sold him then 10m would not have been too unrealistic.
I'm gutted for him as he has been with us a long time but from what I saw of Manquillo on Sunday and the immenent arrival of Moreno I guess he knew his time was up.
Good luck in the future Martin. (except when you play us)
12 Aug 2014 18:48:30
Eds have you heard anything re Moreno? Apparently fee now agreed straight £12m (not sure I believe that)
Also he has been pulled from tonight's game to complete, again I can't see how all this before about the Super cup being his farewell then an hour before kick off he's pulled?
12 Aug 2014 18:36:52
Hi all,
I'll do a much shorter version of my post in an attempt to avoid the abuse.
I have been told that should Moreno not be concluded in the next few days (while he is in UK) the club are happy with Johnson/Can at LB and Flanno/Manquillo at RB.
Our focus would then shift to a forward player, preferably a Winger/Striker but an out and out striker might also be considered.
Cheers all, looking forward to Sunday now, it's been too long!
Couldnt be any further from the truth. We just signed Moreno.
Good stuff! Looks like Moreno is joining so striker/winger left.
Have you just made that utter nonsense up for the sake of it. Deal is done
12 Aug 2014 21:00:29
What about Enrique at left back as well?
12 Aug 2014 17:25:14
Hi eds. Any truth in the Kelly to Palace rumours?
Hope not and if the fee of £1.5m is true that's insulting!
{Ed001's Note - there was certainly interest from them in him. I was told their offer had been rejected.}
Rumour also going round that we've agreed a deal for Moreno, how true that is can be anyone's guess.
I'd only say £1.5m is acceptable if it's has either extra due, due to appearances for example or a 30% sell on.
On it's own, I agree I'd rather keep for that fee
12 Aug 2014 18:47:47
Ed001, who do you expect to be here come the end of the window CB wise?
With Kolo closing in on an exit, Ilori leaving on loan, Kelly leaving possibly, Coates leaving, and possibly one of Skrtel and Agger leaving (more likely Agger).
It seems we'd be left with Sakho, Lovren and Skrtel. Does that sound right? Would this leave us a little light?
{Ed001's Note - I would expect a recall clause in Ilori's deal.}
12 Aug 2014 17:09:06
Hi eds, I've seen a bit of talk about Diao from lazio being a possibility, any truth in it?
{Ed001's Note - last I heard no.}
12 Aug 2014 16:46:39
hello eds, sorry if I sound stupid but what are your thoughts on a Agger- Soldado swap?
{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of it being considered. Sorry.}
12 Aug 2014 17:34:38
Oh dear.
12 Aug 2014 13:59:58
hello Eds. is it true that ilori is close to joining Bordeaux and toure close to joining trabzonspor?
{Ed001's Note - Toure yes, Ilori is looking likely but not done yet that I am aware of.}
Ilori on loan right?
{Ed001's Note - I believe so yes.}
Thank you for the info ed001. with toure leaving do you still see agger and skrtel both being moved on?
That would leave us with Lovren, Sakho, Skrtel, Agger and Kelly. Do you still think one of Skrtel and Agger will be gone by Sep? Thanks.
{Ed002's Note - Yes.}
Even now Kelly is off? Can't see the spence in selling both Skrtel and Agger
Dont forget we still need to offload coates
12 Aug 2014 11:40:58
Hi Ed002, based on player valuations given by their respective clubs, which of Icardi and Bony is most viable? Admittedly they both seem to be pricey.
{Ed002's Note - I can only guess, but Bony I would think.}
12 Aug 2014 00:42:15
Hi eds,
Any news on Andy Weimann at all from villa going anywhere,
Think the guy has talent and if was cheap enough I wouldn't mind having a look at all
Thanks
{Ed001's Note - nope. He has not impressed scouts with his performances last season.}
Clearly don't watch much Premiership football. This guy isn't even a regular in the worst Villa squad in year. Nor does he start for the might of Austria
11 Aug 2014 23:53:40
Eds can you comment on Tony Barrett writing in The Times that we are looking at a one year deal for Eto'o? Barrett is usually good at knowing what's up at Liverpool!
{Ed002's Note - Sorry, no. I am travelling and this is not something I am aware of. It seems unlikely to me.}
Seems pointless, would be gutted not signing Remy and ending up with Eto'o.
Please don't let this be true. What a huge disappointment that would be
Please to god, nooooooo. We can't be after him surely to god. He's had an ok career but he's old and slow!
No I'm not believing this at all its ridiculous!
Please god nooooooo!
Tony Barrett is a very reliable source, might not make us lpool fans happy but afraid there's definitely somethink in this
What a joke this would be. Wage demands would be stupid for one. i'd rather keep borini than take eto. It appears we have spent all the suarez money now an we are looking in the bargin basement for a striker. This is a reoeat of the carroll situation.
Ok career?
I agree with not signing him unless he drops his wage demands massively, but ok career? Come on, he has had an amazing career and was one of the very best.
Smacks desperation to me. Just what we don't need
@suarezgumshield, how would a free transfer be a repeat of a £35m purchase? Andy Carroll was not bargain basement, really silly post.
And ya I agree with Ronnieross, Etoo has had an amazing career. He's done at the highest level though, imo.
Lets be realistic . we are a tad low on the striker front as it stands and with the possibility of Borini leaving still on the cards I don't really think its a bad option beggars can't be choosers! . he's got a decent track record in the prem so if his wages are reduced then why not? i'm hoping there are other names in front of him but as a free why wouldn't you bolster the team for a year until Origi comes in?
Well I really hope not, I can't see the point in moving on Borini and getting Eto - let's hope it is just paper talk.
