Hey Ed's!

I just wanted to know if you think Suso is still part of BR's plans. If so, then I don't understand why we were so keen to sign Alberto.

Thanks guys. {Ed002's Note - I would think Liverpool are looking to hang on to Suso but I suspect he will now be wanting commitments and I doubt Rodgers would be willing to make any. We will see next summer.}

Believable9 Unbelievable6

Commitments as in promised playing time? {Ed002's Note - Right, at least in terms of opportunities.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed 002, it will be a shame if he were to leave - I really thought this would be his breakthrough year.
On another note, how is Connor Coady doing this season - another one with the potential to break through next year.

keep up the good work by the way! {Ed002's Note - It is a breakthrough year - just not at Liverpool. You will need someone else to answer about Coady.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Alberto mainly plays at AM. Suso plays mainly on the Right.

Would be a damn shame if Suso were allowed to move on. I think it would be a big mistake. Reminds me massively of David Silva and I think he has the potential to be better since he has more acceleration in my opinion. {Ed002's Note - It is a matter of giving him games really.}

I don't think that Rodgers or anyone in his right mind would let Suso go. Also we would have more games to play (champions or europa league).

Agree0 Disagree0

So difficult to break through and even harder to sustain a regular place when we are pushing on. sterling is an example and Ibe is possibly better IMYHO but he is not getting a look in. Meanwhile we loan out players to get experience but this doesn't always seem to work either. Wish we could have B teams in this country

According to reports in Spain, Liverpool scouts have been watching Pedro Rodriguez for the last two months. A 25 million pound plus Pepe Reina swap deal is being lined up next summer.

Believable12 Unbelievable47

£25 mill plus reina?that equates to at least £35 mill.we could buy 2 better players than pedro for that price.

Agree0 Disagree1

Friends of mine in Spain had told me that he was looking to leave Barca but I had no idea we were interested. If so, then it's great news as I think he's massively under-rated.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard his moving to arsenal

Ed002 I read the big part you done on players who could possibly move to Liverpool in January and it was grate my question is about young players going out on loan like sterling illori even Alberto (I understand a lot of players only came but are very young and also players must come in before others leave etc {Ed002's Note - My understanding is that Sterling will be available for a loan. A possible loan move to Spain might become a January option for Ilori who has shared his disappointment at the lack of opportunities at Liverpool with another player. Alberto would not likely be going anywhere.}

Believable5 Unbelievable8

Any is anyone looking for a transfer to leave for good apart from suarez {Ed002's Note - Certainly Coates and Reina.}

Agree0 Disagree0

True that good man

Agree0 Disagree0

Players like Alberto should be given some game time when we have won games eg against Fulham last week-give him the last 20 mins to get som PL experience and a sense that he is valued.

Morning Eds & Reds,

With us potentially looking for a left sided forward/winger, have we considered Lavezzi of PSG? I remember him being quite prolific at Napoli a few years back with both goals and assists.

Had completely forgotten about him since he moved to France, has he been playing regularly? Is he happy over there? Would he consider a move to England? A few reports on the web are saying spurs are in for him at £15mill which seems a steal. I know we can't go for every player eds but surely someone we should be looking at if he is available?

{Ed002's Note - There is some interest in Lavezzi from several clubs including Zenit, Spurs, Inter and AC Milan. I think it might simply end there with "interest" unless quite a significant offer is made. Perhaps next summer will be a time to move.}

Thanks for the reply Ed, appreciated as always

Ed you think we could go for Mata in summer or Jan?. I mean let's be honest, he is too much quality to warm the bench, and I wouldn't mind if he doesn't track back, He just needs to score and create goals which he is deadly best.
He is the few players I love at chelsea, calm and composed Man on and off the pitch, with him and countinho, they would make any defenders look like cat and mouse, such is his talent.
If we finish in top 4, we would have a good shout to get him, I don't see chelsea winning the league, So it doesn't matter If chelsea is 2nd or 4th?
Whats your say Ed. {Ed002's Note - I would think it most unlikely. At the start of the window there was interest in Mata from Barcelona and Real Madrid and, whilst Chelsea do not wish to sell, if the player wants the move there are players from both clubs that Chelsea would consider in part exchange. Mata has said he is happy and doesn't want to leave so for now everything is fine.}

Ed002 Will Liverpool be signing Moussa Dembele of Fulham in January?
(Before people say he plays for spurs, there's an U21 French lad there) {Ed002's Note - This is the kid I think. It will be difficult before he is 18 of course but I do know that there has been interest shown in him by a number of clubs including Manchester United and another EPL side who had their French based scout take a look. I would suspect the summer would be a more likely time to move given age and contracts.}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

I'm not sure on his age I just knows he's young and talented, alright thanks eds, so Liverpool won't be in for him {Ed002's Note - I didn't say that.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I mentioned this kid last year and was told, sarcastically by an ed that its supporters like me that give lfc a bad name lol surely they (ed's exc ed2) are simply not as clued up as us fans!

Ed002 have any teams held any interest with Xhaxa (excuse my spelling) of Basel? Looks one hell of a player and very young still? {Ed002's Note - Granit Xhaka moved to Borussia Moenchengladbach last year although there was interest over the summer from Inter and Lazio had two offers rejected. Roberto Martinez looked at him as Wigan Manager last year and may well still be interested.}

Ed002 Can you see Suso playing a big part in the team next season? If not would that attacking right side be somewhere we'd look to strengthen? With salah or another target? {Ed002's Note - Next season is a long way off and Suso will want commitments given he is going well - an issue LFC don't want or need.}

Believable7 Unbelievable6

Better not be any legs in the capel rumour, suso is twice the player he is and younger. and best of all we already own him!

Agree0 Disagree0

If Suso was in the squad it would be a perfect setting as we'd have him and Coutinho threading passes from either side of the field giving Suarez and Sturridge shear joy to score. wasted money on Aspas instead of continuing with the lad (IMO).

Agree0 Disagree0

One more season out on loan for Suso would do him good after this season, perhaps Valencia if they end up selling Feghouli.
