Thanks for the reply Ed002. I think he moved from North Africa last year but he has impressed in the brief appearences for Stoke. Widely regarded as the next big African talent.

We should be able to cope without a player or 2 for a month - our dreadful form may have coincided with Mane going to the AFCON but it wasn't caused by it - we got casual, took our foot of the gas, did not adapt properly to the different team dynamic and rolled over against weak opposition. If that happens again, with or without the AFCON, we will struggle. The problem wasn't Mane leaving, it was the players still there not performing well enough.

Seano I think you underestimate the difference Mane made. Shouldnt have been the difference but it was a big part in it.

Ed (1) if your around. I see Stewart being linked with a loan/ permenant move away, do you know what the plans are for him? And why he hasn't seen more game time this year? I always thought he showed promise.

Im not entirely sure he got that much opportunity to prove himself. I thought given time he could be an asset for us.

plenty of clubs interested in him, shame it did not work out, I wish him well, we cannot keep everybody I suspect a lot of fringe players will be moving on come the summer.

I agree he hasn't done enough seems klopp liked him, it was then up to him to step up and put in that work but I don't think he did.

I think some of you guys don't understand what proving and doing enough is, you can't get game time if you don't prove yourself at the training facility where the management staff see you everyday, so with the apparent lack of game time its seems he don't do enough when training etc, i like the kid but if this is true he probably needs go prove himself in the championship or similar.

Stewart has been injured for a month or two which is why he has not even been playing for the U23's. Honest player but lacks that bit of extra quality needed for a top EPL team.

And to be fair mid EPL quality is still high quality so not like people are saying he is rubbish, just not the level LFC are looking to reach.
