I understand we've had scouts at a few Swansea City games in recent weeks watching Daniel James and also Connor Roberts.
Do you know anything about this?

We should be looking at James before bournemouth or southampton sign him then we all want him next year for 40million more than he would cost now.

Dan James looks real quality. His pace is incredible but he is starting to get more consistent with his service and finishing.
Really think he's a star of the future. Would love us to sign him.

For the sake of his own career it would be a bad move right now, a PL team where he'll get weekly games should be his next step. Exciting prospect but needs to earn and prove his worth before considering competing with world class attackers for places in top teams.

David Neres of Ajax is the latest linked with us. Having a fairly good season the 22 year old.
Any insight into this one eds? Apparently we've been watching him at the very least.

{Ed002's Note - Everton, not Liverpool. I am not aware of any interest being shown by Liverpool at all and he would not be an improvement over Harry Wilson, and as far as I know the club are expecting much of him. Joining Liverpool would be a risky and a big step up.}

Nearly forgot about our Harry Wilson then. Would completely destroy his chances with us if we bought Neres. The mooted price was 40 million which, by the sounds of your description on him, is far too much.
Perhaps the links have mixed us watching him with another Ajax player instead.

Saw him play for Brazil in the last game, and he was really very good; a game changer the moment he came on. Equally good today, versus Juventus. Right-footed, but can play on both wings, just like Mane.

Still only young and a very respectable return this season with goal contributions. I've only watched him twice so my opinion of him can't be made yet but at that age there's plenty more potential. Personally I don't see Wilson in klopps plans, he's not suited to our style, he deserves a pre season and hopefully prove me wrong.

Morning reds, I've heard from a good mate of mine, who knows a guy, who knows a guy that Liverpool " officials " are due to fly out to Germany in the coming weeks to discuss a potential transfer for one of Bayer Leverkusen's " star " players who has informed his club he wishes to leave and his club has granted him and his agent permission to speak to clubs interested and apparently Liverpool are one of those interested and the player Is very eager to join also. Please don't shoot the messenger but my mate did inform me that Naby keita was joining Liverpool even after all went quiet about it and he said he had a hunch we'd sign Fabinho, so who know ey, enjoy your day people.

Great rumour, WBM. Nice with a bit of old fashion gossip. I'll go with it. Bayern have a talented squad with L. Hradecky, J. Tah, L. Bender, K. Harvertz, J. Brandt and L. Bailey all ready to make the next step in my opinion. Not necessarily to Liverpool, but wouldn't mind some of these to join.

Love it to be true, he does actually have a lot of knowledge regarding Liverpool business which is always exciting as a fan, if it’s true I’d love it to be havertz or Brandt.

I’d only take Havertz of Brandt. The rest are very over rated they have struggled all season and taken beatings from the likes of schalke and Leipzig. 9/ 18 in a poor league tells you something.

It won't be for Hervertz. Brandt has a release clause this summer of 25 mio € so its more likely to be him.
If i remember correctly Leverkusen want around 100 mio for Havertz and according to reports hell end up at Bayern in 2020.

It will be Brandt, IMO as Klopp wanted him as first choice before we went for Salah. Klopp may not have lost interest in him still esp. cos now he plays the no. 10 role at Leverkusen whereas back then, he played on the left.

Would of loved him to tell me who it was they’re interested in talking to but I’m not even sure he knows himself, Thankfully Liverpool are more discreet in their business these days especially. Be nice if it came off and I’d be happy with either. Brandt is obviously the most likely, and would fit in great.
