The only one I asked for mate! A comprehensive write ups on midfield and midfielders, referring to different types and it’s importance to every system. Examples of teams and players who fits in those. This is tricky, you could go back and start from old school midfield to modern day midfield and players. Take your time no hurry! You could split into parts if required. Alert me when you are fine mate!

FSG will find themselves in a financial hole of losses if they decide to sell LFC now. The decline in the British pound will make sure of that.

Personally mate I just can't see it happening, I don't know if it's come from the horses mouth but from what I've seen, it looks to me just like media nonsense. As you rightly say, if they sold now, they'd shoot their selves in their own foot.

I agree that FSG are highly unlikely to be selling now. But I don't believe it's just media talk. It's likely from the wannabe buyer's side to stir the #FSGOUT fans into action and maybe get FSG to consider selling. But to no avail is my guess.

Cheers ed002. Probably get slaughtered for this but I think fsg have been very good owners. Yes we have not won much under them as we would of hoped or like but we broken our previous transfer record which was £20 million pound under laurel and Hardy a couple of times. They in my opinion also brought us finally into the 21st century maximising commercial deals which were neglected for years. Built a fantastic new main stand and in a short few years could atleast treble what they paid for the club. Yes people might argue about net spend ect but at the end of the day they put money on the table its not the owners fault despite what some might think that managers pissed away millions on average players that should of never been brought to the club which includes klopp. A takeover whether it happens or not might sound amazing but for every abramovich there is a venky so we need to be careful what we wish for.

I see the old takeover rumours are doing the rounds again. The same paper said Amanda Stavely ( spelling) was at the Newcastle v Liverpool game looking into buying Newcastle. I guess even journalists get bored during the international break.

{Ed002's Note - The involvement of Amanda Staveley dates back to faciltating meetings between Tom Hicks and Dubai International Capital in 2007 regarding investment or a buy out. For years many, many Liverpool fans have regretted that this did not happen - something I find bemusing. She also subsequently tried to get DIC and Newcastle United together. I am not aware of any involvement with her and Liverpool at this time - and speculation might make more sense if she had been in Boston rather than Newcastle this week. As an aside, I spent two days in Newcastle this week - what does that mean?}

{Ed002's Note - DIC held Liverpool to ransom before H&G arrived when Moores and Parry got the club in to a financial mess over the new stadium and the purchase of players in the January. It was effectively blackmail. When AS later approached H&G and offered Tom Hicks a quick profit he did the best thing for LFC. }

I am so tired to hear of our defense is the problem why we are where we are on the log. Yes they need improvement on that front but they are not that piss poor either. In my opinion we would have struggled even if we had vvd. We need to better our defensive midfield area because most of the goals in open play came from defensive midfielders being nowhere. Look how Matic have changed Manutds defense. Its a totally different team now. The defenders don't have to play under pressure all the time and have time to read the game and watch the opponents and cover their back line better. If we had a really good defensive midfielder our back line would be so much better and win these so called easy games that I keep on hearing about.

The fact that people think there are or may be easy games in the PL, is the very reason why many fans on here react with OTT posts and act like spoilt brats whenever we don't win, as if the other teams don't have athletes on their sides and have no right to give us a game and take points off us. This is the scurge on the LFC fan base right now.

Bingo - I disagree. It's when we show how comparatively easy games are by absolutely ruining the opposition, barely letting them see the ball but still managing to concede and fail to take 3 points that people go crazy.
Usually when an opposition team show up ready and take points on their own merit, they get credit for it. It's when we demonstrate every aspect of our superiority and get nothing to show for it game after game that people get mad.
