anyone think suarez will get pissed off?as whoever currently up topwith him,aint got anywhere near his ability,or on same wavelength?

He has performed very well with Kuyt

I'd say Kuyt has a pretty good understanding and so would Maxi and Bellamy but what we all really know deep down is that Gerrard in behind him would be as deadly as a partnership gets.

Do you support LFC or Suarez? And stop the subtle Carroll digs.

If Suarez does get p#ssed off let him leave. No player is bigger than the club and they must do what they get paid to do and get on with it. Andy Carroll is the future of LFC, he will come good and score plenty of goals for us. Deal with it.

...plus,whats the point worrying about it?

Eds, this is the 4th negatively-critical, anonymous post in a row. Same IP by any chance (located somewhere near Manchester)?

cozinoz

I agree with Cozinoz. This may well be the case, but if the editors do not successfully filter out streams of successive negative posts by the same anonymous poster, then they have to be held to account just as much as the original poster.

Red Owl {Ed002's Note - So how do you know the posts were from the same poster? And quite how are you going to hold the Editors "to account". Perhaps you could write us a strongly worded letter?}

Ha! Mate you're forgetting stevie. Fair enough Luis looks like the best in the squad at the moment, but once Gerrard's fully back ul remember who the don really is.

does kenny play carrol and hendersen to justify fees to himself,owners,fans,and media???

No he plays them because they are raw talent that have what it takes to become amongst the best players in world football in their respective positions and he believes he can make sure they grow into the players they can be at Liverpool sooner rather than later. Why post these questions, ignore the opinions of tabliods that write sensationalist stories to sell papers, These kids are very young and Kenny is one of the most knowledgable individuals in the game. Remember, patience is the companion of wisdom, it may be bitter, but its fruit is sweet.

Kenny doesnt wan to destroy the confidence of these 2 key future stars.he knows what he is doin.trust in king

why on earth doesnt bellamy get more starts?pace changes games!he broke down efc with pace,and changed derby

That is because bellmy is as fragile as it gets .
indian scouser

Can Bellamy last 90mins? Have you ever heard of an 'impact sub'? Your team's manager Moyes doesn't have the luxury of impact subs.

You've answered your own question mate.. 'pace changes games'. why bother putting on a sub if he' not going to change the game?

with their apparent availability,and unhappyness,anyone hope we must'er funds,and interest in van persie,and van der varrt?

I would like to think that the current manager has a slightly more sophisticated process in choosing transfer targets than simply going for the famous ones that are having a bit of a moan at their respective clubs.

Dara D

Love this post for its sear stupidity, van persie will gio to city, & van der vaart absolutely loves it at totenham, he has stated several times that he wants to either end his career at spurs or hamburg, no way will either end up at liverpool, put it this way theres more chance of suarez ending up at arsenal or spurs? and I'm sure you'll be quick to play that one down??

Yeah his process is throwing large sums of cash at very average English players!

Mumbles

Where do you get your material from?! You should be a comedian, Mumbles, the stuff you come up with is so original!

Martin

Thanks Martin, I have a little office I do most of writing in, nothing special.

I take it that you have no response to my point then or are you just gonna hide and make another smart comment?

Mumbles

Nah no way could he be a comedian they have humour he only offers failed sarcasm, Mumbles more like shambles.

Always a red

I believe that if Carra can see a chance to bring on the youngsters and still an important squad member than he will carry on for a few years yet.

I agree with you about his competitive nature but i also believe he will do anything he can to help the club out while he can play. I believe it will be kenny and the coaching staffs decision.

Mighty reds

Lets hope so, would be nice to see him step up to management the way Kenny did. That's assuming he want to be a manager he has said in the past he has his eye on Thomo's seat on Soccer Saturday lol.

always a red

Cant do that, his nose isnt big enough.

To always a red i believe that carra is still first choice centre back at the moment. He was monumental against Everton. I believe while he is playing he should always be at Liverpool you cany beat experience and will bring the likes of coates, kelly flannas,wilson and robbo on. Even if he only plays 25 games a season in the future still worth a place in the squad.

I believe we let sami go too early and we are just recovering now so carra is so important to us. He is just a brillant player and a fantastic reader of the game.

Mighty reds

I do agree you cant beat experience but given Carra's competitive nature (which has made hime sure a great player) would he be willing to be a bit part player moving down the peaking order. I'm not suggesting he's past it just yet mind, i just can't see him being around come the end of next season.

always a red

Wait til he gives away his next penalty then everyone will be baying for blood again.... I think its time for him to not be a regular anymore, need to bring Coates in and give him game time.

Carra needs to retire he is a liability

Hey Ed's.

I heard Suarez went off injured in last nights international. Is there any truth in this? If so, is it likely he will be able to play against MU?

Thanks, James. {Ed002's Note - I am sure he will be fine.}

Suarez would still try to play MU if he had his legs amputated -McMenemy

If it is not toooo personal a question Eds, how do you get recompensed for your time or do you do it for the love of it?

Iggypop {Ed002's Note - Ed001 and I run a care programme for the other Eds all of which are living in a halfway house. It helps to ease them back in to the community after they have served their punishment for the heinous crimes they committed.}

Sounds like a parochial house Ed

Cuchulainn's Hounds

"if it's not a personal question are you a virgin?" {Ed007's Note - Hoi!!! That's my wife!!}

I think that last question was verging on the offensive...

Or was it a virgin on the offensive?

I see the press have been at it again twisting Carras words. He actually said that the coaching staff will decide when he retires whether it is one or two or three or so on many years. Eds do you know who as twisted these words? I believe Carra will carry on for a few years yet, he said he wants to carry on for as long as possible. Defo benefiting from not playing for England.

Mighty reds

Do you think he will finish his playing days at Liverpool?
I wonder, there's no denying he has been a great representative of the club but in the modern game is there any room for sentiment.

always a red

You really have depressed me - Carragher to carry on a FEW more years. I hope you mean that he is carrying on with someone else's wife as I cannot bear the thought that he will be playing for Liverpool beyond this seaon.(I actually mean beyond this week but that is far too much to hope for). I think that it is time that we all (and especially Carragher) realised that he is past it and it is time that someone else took over. We appear to have very little chance of winning the League this season so I think that we should select fron Agger,Skrtel,Coates and Wilson and possibly Kelly. There is absolutely no pint in retaining Carragher at this time.
Dutchmal

Time for Carra to be eased out slowly with younger guys given some games. Carra should not play everygame anymore.

Well done Wales, completey deserved their victory, it's not all bad though, England going home with their tails between legs.

Thank Christ we won't have to hear the British media hyping a possible England world cup victory!

Hi ed,
Why my posts are not appearing on Manchester UTD pages? Am I banned from there?

Chopman

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea. Are they offensive? Are they distasteful? Are they nonsense? Do they reek of moral turpitude? These are the questions you should be asking yourself.}

Yeah I remember one time recently i tried to post such a thing but it will get spammed automatically isn't it. But it won't be the case always. Please make sure my posts appear on their site I really want to have some good banter with them.

Chopman {Ed002's Note - Your posts will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis like any other. If they are distasteful, offensive etc. they will not be posted.}

If that's the case than I think this Ed007 of their site is having a go with me, sure he is blocking all my posts, please tell him not to do it.

thanks
Chopman {Ed002's Note - Sounds like paranoia. There are a number of Editors who deal with the posts on the Manchester United pages, I doubt any are picking on you. As I said, posts are dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Nobody has the time or inclination to be petty about individual posters. Ed007 has been around only for a few hours over the past 10 days, so I doubt he has you as a target. But maybe I do ......(cue music from The Twilight Zone).}

You really are a funny guy Ed002. You remind me of Joe Pesci from Goodfellas. How much to christan my kid? lol

Blair Mayne YNWA {Ed002's Note - Fifty bucks.}

Chopman you're not welcome on the Champions Banter page, we already have too much fun with the scouse contingent already occupying the site 24/7. If you give your C.V to my good friend Blair if we have an opening we'll be happy to discuss it with you in the near future.

Kind regards

Mumbles

Oh really! So you ppl are pretty much fed up with the fun. Count me in I will show you the real fun (by the way I am not a scouser).

My team vs man utd

Reina

Johnson/Kelly Carragher Skrtel Enrique

Kuyt Lucas Adam Downing

Suarez Carroll

Subs: Doni, Johnson/Kelly, Coates, Henderson, Spearing, Maxi, Bellamy {Ed009's Note - No place even on the bench for Gerrard?}

Lucas & Adam in a two man midfield won't work, from the beating we got against Spurs I think it is too risky to play a Midfield of Lucas & Adam even at home against the attack minded stronger teams. A 4-4-2 with Gerrard & Lucas or a 4-3-3 if Gerrard is not starting with Lucas, Adam & Henderson & No Andy Carroll upfront (Bellamy or Kuyt instead of him.)

(1) 4-4-2

Reina

Johnson/Kelly Carragher Skrtel Enrique

Downing Lucas Steve G Bellamy

Suarez Carroll

Subs: Doni, Johnson/Kelly, Coates, Henderson, Kuyt, Maxi, Adam

or

(2) 4-3-3

Reina

Johnson/Kelly Carragher Skrtel Enrique

Henderson Lucas Adam

Bellamy Suarez Downing

Subs: Doni, Johnson/Kelly, Steve G, Coates, Kuyt, Maxi, Carroll

Chopman

Reina
Johnson Carra Agger Enrique
Kuyt Henderson Lucas Adam Downing
Suarez

If Stevie doesnt start.

3-5-2 for me. This is going to be a midfield battle.

Carra - Agger - Skrtel

Kelly - Enrique (Full backs)

Kuyt - Gerrard - Bellamy/Downing

Suarez - Carroll

RenegadeRed

Going to be a midfield battle so you only put 1 recognised CM in Gerrard in your team? Can see why it would be a battle. Poster above you is spot on me thinks.

How Can You guys think Fit Gerrard Not starting ? its a Big Match and He is a big player.

Ah he's not that big - Crouch, Carew and Coates are a bit bigger IMO!

Corkpoolred

3-4-3 for sure...

------------Reina-----------

------Kelly-Carra-Skrtel------

Johnson--Lucas--Adam--Enrique

---Downing---Kuyt---Suarez---

Hi, Eds. Just curious about the status of our stadium. I know Macca said that we're gonna develop Anfield, but some source also said that naming-right partners for new stadium at Stanley Park have been filtered down to just 3 global companies. Any latest news, Eds?

Very much appreciate your info, Eds.

A Red from Indonesia {Ed002's Note - There is nothing new. The various options were considered here yesterday.}

Hey eds and fellow readers. I'm afraid that Coates' progress will stagnate, just as it did with Wilson. I mean when Wilson came here he was very talented, got several youth awards in Scotland and was also picked for their national team. Since coming here how many games has he played? Less than 10. We're not doing him any good at all. I'm afraid the same will happen with Coates. When he came here he got best young player award at the Copa. However now I'm really afraid that we will stagnate the growth of 2 extremely promising defenders. What do you think eds

Keith YNWA {Ed002's Note - He is young and will need time to adapt. Perhaps the fan's expectations are too high.}

Or perhaps Wilson has looked a little out of his depth when he has played?

Or perhaps both of them are young and need still need to develop?
Wilson isn't even 20 yet...

I heard Suarez went off injured, Young & Evra went of injured for United. I hate internationals.

Sydney!

Lol- you scums really want that to happen, unfortunately Luis is in good condition and will remain to be. Pretty sure he is restless to face the Manchester scums & to give you guyz a real hammering to remember.

Chopman

I would be more concerned with Rooneys mindset if i was you ;)

Jatt YNWA

Suarez played the full 90 and was completely fine.

Peanut of the week. Harry Kewell.
Just got to work and was going through the mornings sport pages when what did i see, Mr Kewell stating that his new Melbourne Victory set up is better than Liverpools'.
Quoted from Fox Sports Australia
"Liverpool is one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Yes, their set up is good, but not as good."
Now as an aussie, i like Harry, but for f*** sake, get a grip Hazza, were lovin you hypin up the A League (it needs it) but mate,cmon.
Ive never had the luxury of seeing the mighty reds set up, but i have seen victorys', yeah it ok, but id like to think Liverpool has better.

West Aussie Red.

As an Aussie I totally agree - obviously hasn't seen the new sport science team (who are Australian) at lfc yet...

red snake

I think Melbourne Victory must have a brilliant treatment room with scented candles, soft lighting and a padded treatment table. There couldn't be anything else he could know about surely!
