Liverpool looking to extend Klopps deal beyond summer 2018 to ward off any debate about his future, according to BBC Sport website.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - Or to make money out of Bayern in 2019 when Gerrard comes out of prison and becomes player/manager?}

07 Jul 2016 03:03:38
I think Klopp as already stated he wouldn't manage Bayern.

07 Jul 2016 00:44:14
Prison?

07 Jul 2016 06:53:05
I thought he told Dortmund he wouldn't leave for Bayern which is a completely different proposition, he could easily leave us for Bayern and I doubt anyone would judge him for it.

07 Jul 2016 08:15:02
Tell that to the Chelsea fans, I'm sure there's still a few of them shocked Jose is managin another English club. Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world I'm sure klopp would love to manage them one day.

06 Jul 2016 23:02:49
Ed

Any truth klopps been offered a new contract?

Dev.

{Ed002's Note - No idea.}

06 Jul 2016 22:50:48
Fsg is giving Klopp a new deal hopefully that means they trust him and back him . We know they got burned before but you don't give up . Now hopefully Klopp can deliver but he can only do that if he's back.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

06 Jul 2016 22:58:26
Probably more so the club is more of an attractive proposition to sell if they have a stable manager.

06 Jul 2016 23:16:18
Very pessimistic Fencey but I'd say your in the right area.

07 Jul 2016 00:34:36
I think there may be a lot of truth in Fenceys post.

07 Jul 2016 00:56:52
Didn't consider that Fencey, good shout imo. if it's true they are trying to extend his deal that is.

07 Jul 2016 02:51:22
Alot of the time if new owners come in they replace the manager with on of their own choosing, while I wouldn't discount your view, I think the fact they have spent and continue to, vast amounts of money, means they are impressed with him so far and want him to sign longer term to secure his future with us.
Who knows though? We're all just guessing really!

07 Jul 2016 03:56:17
more smoke screen theories. why would a manager on a long contract be attractive to a new owner? what if he's doing a bad job on a long contract? what if they wanted to bring their own person in? people just make this stuff up out of nothing.

07 Jul 2016 06:07:53
Think Fencey is spot on and this came to my mind first.

As per BBC it just says the terms in terms of length of contract and no specific payment increase if we take it on face value.

Cheeers.

07 Jul 2016 07:09:19
I don't care what FSG's motives are, get him signed up.

07 Jul 2016 07:47:53
New owners wouldn't replace Klopp if they had a brain. It is a backing in a way, they think he's the best we could get, and want him to be in charge for a long time.

07 Jul 2016 09:07:15
Personally I think its a smoke screen to, LFC announce that Klopp extends deal, Klopp quotes the history of club/ future of club etc etc. takes us away from the fact there is no big name signings being made.

06 Jul 2016 22:49:11
Klopp and assistants to be given new long term contracts.

Believable8 Unbelievable1

07 Jul 2016 00:27:01
Good news for LFC.

06 Jul 2016 22:46:15
Dearest Ed002,

Firstly thank you very much for your insightful replies of late. They have been very interesting to say the least.

I was just wondering about a point you made in regards to a potential Messi offer. You stated that Adidas were looking to potentially broker a deal. Is this something that has happened before with other players? Would this not fall foul of some sort of third party ownership rules that are in place in certain leagues? Or is it very much business as usual in the sense of agents brokering deals for players?

Many thanks in advance

Red Sandman.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - It is unrelated to third party ownership - it simply relates to the rights. Sponsors have certainly funded a number of player purchases over the years.}

06 Jul 2016 22:45:50
after watching the euros and england play i seen sturridge play and it looks to me that his legs have gone or that he won't full out sprint for a ball, maybe after a rest and letting his legs rest for a few weeks he will start his sprinting again because before his injuries he could run fast but now he won't run for a ball if its gone past him or not to his feet, has anyone else seen this in him or is it just me,

Believable4 Unbelievable9

06 Jul 2016 23:36:20
Or he was being played out of position and was looking for passes instead of trying to take on 3 men and score a wonder goal.

07 Jul 2016 00:35:25
You. not everytbing is fans just being critical or moaning. Fact is last season i saw sturridye sprint a handful of times (at 60%) wether played upfront, outwide, centre back, goal keeper.

He looks like he has lost his pace or to remain fit doesn't make himself as sharp.

He had that op the end of the stoke thrashing season, where they decided even thoufh fit to get it d9ne ready for th3 new campain because they thougut they found the route of his problem and then since then he has been back but not back back.

He plays like a ten now exactly likw firmino which is why i dint see them all in th3 same team, for me origi starts opening day and you choose between firmino and sturridge.

07 Jul 2016 00:50:40
Would it not just be the fact that the explosive pace he hasn't had, puts more strain on his muscles, so he's worried that if he pushes himself again he'll become injured again, and ridiculed by a portion of fans.

07 Jul 2016 01:11:58
Paulo, teams were sitting deep against England, a main reason being to contain pacey players on the break. If teams are sitting that deep you won't see the pacier players running flat out, since there's nowhere to go. Also if he's out on the right wing he'll look to cut inside again not showing his pace. He does drop deep at times into almost a 10 role, as he has done since moving to Liverpool. This is absolute nonsense that on a quiet day someone has over thought.
As for Origi starting either over our best striker or Firmino, that's just ridiculous. Origi's a great talent and I hope he has a great future with us but at the moment Sturridge and Firmino are well ahead. You put out the team best equipped to win though so depending on the opponents he will get games. He should however be 2nd choice.

07 Jul 2016 01:21:13
Should be he has had.

07 Jul 2016 09:13:53
You, you are incorrect, since his last long term injury sturridge has not sprinted flat out. I beleive he is managing his twitch muscle problem and has been told to do so. For me it takes away a large part of his game but he compensates in other areas.

This is why we have seen him doing a lot of twists and tricks with the ball, but he is still learning how to be effective without the explosive element to his game. Still technically our best striker but he will rotate with origi and ings depending on the opposition and tactics employed by klopp.

06 Jul 2016 22:41:30
Hi eds,

Sky sports news reporting Liverpool have offered Jurgen klopp a new contract already, is this just a reward for good work or does it have something to do with potential new owners as rumours are suggesting?

Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - No idea.}

Ed002, could you what are your thoughts on the possible ramifications for British clubs after the Brexit vote? As always your thoughts are very much appreciated.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - It is not actually clear what would happen but the real impact is on the "status" isuues - work permits, residents permits etc.. There would certainly not be any overnight change but the eventual position would likely be a need for work permits and residence permits. In terms of existing EU citizens already working in the UK, there is no plan but I would think an amnesty would be the likely decision followed by a quota system of some type. In terms of competition it makes zero difference - the leaving is not of UEFA.

A good question but no firm answer I am afraid.}

06 Jul 2016 21:57:06
Cheers Ed, I guess we can only sit and wait with baited breath.

06 Jul 2016 18:06:40
Ed002. With players being discussed with values around £100M indeed more for your Messi, Ronaldo etc. do we ever get to a point where - under FFP - these players become "untransferable" as no club could offset the expenditure?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - A very good question - but the summary answer is no, UEFA cannot restict trade.

A little history: In the past Messi has turned down a transfer to one side who had agreed to meet Barcelona's then €250M price tag, and Barcelona and a commercial partner resisted an approach by a commercial organisation on behalf of an English side with an offer to buy, or at least part fund, the purchase of the player. I am aware that in Spain there has been speculation about an offer being made during the summer 2014 transfer window, but it is "largely" incorrect. This all started in 2012 when in mid December Anzhi made an offer to Barcelona that matched the €250M euro release clause that existed in his contract, and put up what I am told was a "very" significant personal package. However, Messi was not interested in a move to Russia and Barcelona did not want to sell - so Messi, in early February 2013, extended his contract with Barcelona. In the early summer of 2013 efforts were being made by Adidas to broker a deal that would get Messi away from Nike and to one of their three high-profile clubs that they were invoved with at the time. Very quickly Real Madrid were ruled out and with Pep Guardiola moving to Bayern Munich that pretty much saw the end of any chance of a move there (given the strained relationship) at the time. This left Chelsea, and I can confirm that discussions were held about making a firm bid - at this point we are in late 2013 and early 2014 and Messi was in a verbal spat with Barcelona about getting a further extension - which the club were against. Ultimately, the player was (at least in his eyes) available during the Spring of 2014 and at that point Chelsea and Adidas made his management representatives and Barcelona aware of what they would be willing to do to make a transfer happen. Since then he has again extended his contract with Barcelona and Chelsea and Adidas have parted company. I understand that again they see three possible destinations for the player but I am not going to get involved in any further speculation at this time – but one of those destinations is the new money of Manchester City. If the right money were offered to the club, then Barcelona would be open to selling - and if the package were good enough, the player would consider any offers. The difficulties include his tax issues and the vast amounts of money involved. Manchester City have already started to try and negotiate - they may persist else switch to Suarez.

So: A number of questions were asked of representatives of UEFA in December 2014 regarding the transfer of the financially very high-end players and the impact on FFP. It is clear that exceptions would need to be put in place as the alternative could be lawsuits from players regarding restrictions on trade. As such, it would not be an FFP issue in any one year for a number of clubs but it would be an issue for any club looking to do any other business over forthcoming years.

And the amounts of money involved are well beyond significant.}

06 Jul 2016 21:18:08
Incredible knowledge.

06 Jul 2016 21:47:13
All I can say is thank you very much for this info Ed002. A very good read indeed. Is Messi aware of the interest from Man City and is he willing to move their despite his strained relationship with Pep?

Red Sandman.

{Ed002's Note - Yes he is aware.}

06 Jul 2016 22:00:08
It does make you wonder, what with all the poor and starving in the world, that paying that much for a footballer is vulgarity in the extreme.

06 Jul 2016 22:06:48
Wow, that's possibly my favourite answer ever on this site. Absolutely fascinating stuff. Nice one eds.

06 Jul 2016 22:16:50
I was only discussing with one of my mates in work, let's say you won a big jackpot on the euro millions, 80-90 million euro, it would change your life forever but you couldn't even afford one of the best footballers in the world.

{Ed002's Note - It depends what you want him to do for you.}

06 Jul 2016 22:30:27
Cheers ed2. Never cease to amaze with your knowledge. To the point I only ever believe what you and ed001 say.
I think I speak for a lot of us when I say this site is a massive part for all of us, and thank you for doing it for free.
And thanks to the OP! For asking a genuinely interesting question, and not when Pogba, Lacazette and Dahoud will join us for £500 million.

{Ed002's Note - Personally, I wouldn't believe anything Ed001 says.}

06 Jul 2016 22:53:36
very insightful, does make you think when other teams and fans moan about a £20 mill player, also its not just down to the transfer fee that we now have to look at.

{Ed002's Note - Fans moan.}

06 Jul 2016 23:37:51
That's an incredible answer to that post and just goes to show the knowledge you possess. It must piss you off when asked the same mundane questions about random players moving to us when you are capable of divulging information like this. Great site keep you the good work.

07 Jul 2016 08:21:44
Many thanks for the insight, and indeed for the time you and the other Eds dedicate daily for the users of this site.

06 Jul 2016 17:45:58
Ed002, question for you if you're around. Can you clarify why clubs like City, Chelsea, ManU can pay significantly higher wages than clubs like Liverpool, West Ham, Southampton, etc.? Is it purely more financial power? It's interesting to me that Liverpool, West Ham, Everton, can pay transfer fees at the same level as Man City/ Chelsea, but they cannot match the wage demands.

Maybe I'm wrong altogether, but you have great knowledge of this and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Site is fantastic, thanks for all you and the other eds do!

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - They don't aside from a few "elite" players in most cases. But these clubs have a significantly higher income - particularly MU. Manchester City has an artificially high income and they know the may be a problem going forward. Chelsea and Arsenal have a sustained high income. All of this adds up to more money. Clubs like Liverpool have continued to spend money they don't have.}

06 Jul 2016 21:28:43
Thanks ed002! Much appreciated. Hopefully Liverpool can in time get to a better financial position.

06 Jul 2016 18:48:09
Anyone else feel we are going to lose one of our top players this summer.
Possibly :
Coutinho
Sturridge
Sakho.

Believable2 Unbelievable10

06 Jul 2016 19:18:51
Won't be Sturridge as we'd need to sign another Striker since Balotelli and Benteke are also being politely ushered out. Sakho is up in the air, because of the drugs test so if it's anyone it will likely be Coutinho.

06 Jul 2016 19:32:25
Lol Sakho, by all means he can leave!

06 Jul 2016 19:48:08
LionRed anyone can leave mate, they all have their price, they all have replacements. Under Klopp I don't fear losing the likes of Coutinho, as I would have under the previous manager. Where others find excuses he finds solutions.

06 Jul 2016 19:49:12
LionRed, why so eager to loose our best cb?

06 Jul 2016 20:36:56
Said it before and I'll say it again - a daft money offer for coutinho and I'd let him go as we're pretty well stocked in attacking mid positions, in fact we're overstocked if you ask me especially as we just added anorher (Mane) .

06 Jul 2016 20:45:36
Klopp will build a great team, not a team of greats 😎.

06 Jul 2016 20:54:42
Anyone but Coutinho.

06 Jul 2016 20:02:07
Loose the breast? No way!

06 Jul 2016 21:19:56
2 breasts are always better than one Barry👐.

06 Jul 2016 21:36:17
Haha no way Eamon I only saw that now. Beast obviously my friend.

06 Jul 2016 17:13:58
Ed 002 possibly for you this one if you don't mind!
Would clubs in the premier league or any league for that matter hedge on the value of the currency they operate in.
For a brief example taking random figures, if pogba moves for €100 million euros to the premier league in the value of pounds this price has technically risen by what are we at now nearly 10% in the last few months? That's a large amount of money when dealing with fees like this. Obviously business' acting internationally hedge on currency they exchange in to keep forecasting easier, but do clubs take this into account going into transfer windows?
On a second part will the devaluation of the pound have any effect on clubs in England being bought/ sold? , again random figures but £600 m pounds would look a better deal if you compare it to a month ago and now or in a few months time depending on how things go?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - (a) Many clubs maintain accounts in euros so it is not an issue. (b) None.}

06 Jul 2016 17:42:58
Thought that might be the case, thanks for the quick response as always 👍.

06 Jul 2016 20:38:40
I'm frankly shocked at the price being quoted for Pogba - does anyone around here really think he's worth that much? I've not put any numbers in Eds ;-)

06 Jul 2016 16:26:10
Hey eds, got a question regarding your opinions on the heirarchy of strikers, I'm guessing Sturridge would be the first choice, but any idea on the rest?

Believable0 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - I would not like to say.}

06 Jul 2016 20:17:02
Sturridge fit and firing is as good as any striker around. However he needs to be just that. I would expect Origi to push him hard for the number one position. Although he is still rough and can be a bit erratic his pace and energy can cause more concern to defences than more polished players like Dan.

06 Jul 2016 14:35:51
Hi Ed's, If any of you have time could you please let me know what is taken in to account for getting a work permit, I'm interested in younger players like Allan. and how some youngsters get work permits no problem and others don't. I've had a look as i remember it being touched upon but can't find anything.
Much appreciated.

Cheers.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - The player needs a minimum of four points and summary goes something like this:
- The value of the transfer fee (alone) that is to be paid is between the top 75% and 100% of all transfers to Premier League clubs in the previous 2 windows - 3 points
- The value of the transfer fee being paid for the player is between 50% and 75% of all transfers to Premier League clubs in the previous 2 windows - 2 points
- The basic wage (excluding bonuses) being paid to the player by the new club is in the top 25% of the top 30 earners at the club - 3 points
- The basic wage (excluding bonuses) being paid to the player by the new club is between 50% and 75% of all the top 30 earners at the club - 2 points
- Subjectively, the player’s current club is in a recognised "top" league and the player has played in 30% or more of the available domestic league minutes - 1 point
- The player’s existing club has played in the group stages or onwards of the Champions League, Europa League or the Copa Libertadores within the last 12 months and the player has played in 30% or more of the available domestic league minutes - 1 point
}

06 Jul 2016 16:19:00
Nice one ed.

06 Jul 2016 13:34:34
Eds, away from the transfer rumours for a moment I was wondering whethet you could answer a question. I know you don't read newspapers but there's an article in the echo about Liverpool deciding to attempt the Madrid and Barcelona model of inserting a buy back clause in young players that they sell.

Ed002 has said these are typically rare I think, is there a particular reason that it doesn't happen in English football often? What sort of obstacles are there in inserting these? Thank you in advance.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - They are rare in England - Chelsea have used them on occasion. The issues are it will certainly reduce the sale price and the number of clubs interested in taking players on. I imagine the "Echo" are filling space with nonsense.}

06 Jul 2016 13:59:51
Thanks for the reply ed.

06 Jul 2016 14:16:30
lol, well said ED. Post of the day lol.

06 Jul 2016 18:48:30
While I agree if you're selling a big player it may put off some clubs, surely with players like sergi canos like they mentioned, it wouldn't be as much a deterrent as they will be able to make a tidy profit?

{Ed002's Note - The clubs buying players like Canos have a different business model and need to think very differently then the clubs who are operating at a level much higher in terms of finance. It is not like-for-like.}

06 Jul 2016 13:31:52
Hi ED I would like to thank you for all the hard work you are doing .

Quick question what do you think of our new trainer Andreas Kornmayer.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - I have no thoughts about him at all Bravesun.}

06 Jul 2016 16:25:18
Thanks ED2.

06 Jul 2016 12:55:24
Long time reader 1st time poster. Just like to say a massive thank you to all the ED's that give their time and knowledge to us readers. Really don't know how you guys put up with some of the crap that people write on this site. Again thank you.

Believable11 Unbelievable7

{Ed002's Note - Post of the day.}

06 Jul 2016 13:09:24
Couldn't agree more with this post. They make the site what it is.

06 Jul 2016 14:10:31
Agree with every word.

06 Jul 2016 14:27:34
It's just amazing the amount of information and patience you guys have, esp Ed02.

06 Jul 2016 20:28:11
No doubting that the site itself is just a vessel for the information the Eds give us. The information we get on here is absolutely priceless and I've been reading almost daily for the past 7 years.

06 Jul 2016 12:07:23
Question for Eds 2,
Is there genuine interest from us in Coric as I think he is miles better than Zielinski?

Believable2 Unbelievable5

{Ed002's Note - RTP.}

06 Jul 2016 09:50:32
Hector and Draxler to finish a good summer of spending and another few outs, maybe not Draxler but I think Hector is in the pipeline.

Believable3 Unbelievable17

06 Jul 2016 10:24:30
The Editors think Chiwell will sign, and have informed us of interest in Amavi.

No reliable links with Hector though and the Eds aren't usually misinformed.

Draxler would be great, but no doubt wouldn't even be an option unless we were to sell both Coutinho and Firmino.

06 Jul 2016 11:24:06
Thanks MK, just discovered what the Ed's stood for.

06 Jul 2016 12:21:48
Haha, I had no idea I typed it like that. So used to abbreviating!

06 Jul 2016 12:38:42
Dreamland, are you drinking?

06 Jul 2016 09:06:02
Regarding Ćorić, as a croatian and follower of croatian league and football this guy is level more than any player in his age i watched in our league, even modric, kovacic and pjaca were not in the same class. only thing i fear is that move could be too soon for him especially into english game but if someone can overcome that is him. Something special about every touch and kick on the ball, can be efficient in any position behind the striker even in midfield three, his vision is closest to iniesta. i don't know if he would suit klopp tactics but let's trust him!

Believable14 Unbelievable4

06 Jul 2016 09:34:55
I think the Iniesta comparison is spot on from the limited footage I've seen of him.

Seems to be one of those players who has more time on the ball than anyone else on the pitch because his movement, awareness and touch are just so good. A player in the mould of the older Iniesta, Modric, Kroos etc. Might not score loads, but will control the game and play a plethora of key passes. Excited to hopefully sign this lad. This would suggest the Zielinski deal is dead in the water. If we got Coric though I wouldn't care!

06 Jul 2016 10:42:24
I'd go with the iniesta comparison too. (Obvs not that level yet) Great technical ability, first touch, quick feet able to turn out of trouble and in to space. Looks for forward passes and one twos. Links midfield and attack. Can take a set piece too. I hope this rumour is true. If so I think this is a real coup for the club. We're getting in a season early because we know lots of clubs are sniffing around and waiting to see how he progresses. From what I've read his head is screwed on and he wants the best for his development which suggests Klopp has guaranteed first team game time or a possible loan back for a season. It's a bit of a risk I suppose 12m for a 19 yr old but this kid has been a first team starter for a league winning team and got into a Croatia squad full of midfield talent. I say snap him up while we can. This squad is full of unpolished gems hopefully Klopp can get them shining. Karius, Gomez, Can, Grujic, Coric, Ojo, Origi. If they reach there full potential playing together we can be v excited for the future.

06 Jul 2016 09:43:15
I have said it in the past He is in the class of Messi. Watched him closely and followed with some of the best sources and they have only high praise for the player.
I would move heaven and earth to sign the kid.

06 Jul 2016 12:01:23
Do you just say shit for the sake of it. In the class of Messi! Jesus Christ man cop on. Messi is the greatest player of this generation and you are comparing him to a 19 year old kid who can't get off the bench for Croatia.

06 Jul 2016 13:12:03
Fruitba,

Not sure if He would replace Messi from his thorn But He is certainly capable to win everything and have a great career. The lad's skill set are in the zone of Messi or Iniesta.
He mugged the whole Bayern midfield against them if you have seen that match.
This kid is special dude.

06 Jul 2016 13:15:25
fruitba, I think Harry is saying that 19 year old Coric is as good as 19 year old Messi. Not current Messi.

It's a pretty bold claim either way though! Hope he signs and proves you right Harry!

06 Jul 2016 13:19:59
I hope harry is only about the age of 10 with all the BS he comes out with. Unreal some people on here. Been following him closely on you tube for 5 minutes 😂.

06 Jul 2016 13:24:54
As taught repeatedly in grade school do not share needles, plus messi's thorn is wedged in nice and tight don't think anybody can replace him.

06 Jul 2016 19:29:51
I hope the player reaches his potential either in England or at his current club. People would see his class one way of the other in future.

06 Jul 2016 08:29:08
Slightly off Liverpool but this is the only site I post on. A massive good luck to Wales this evening, win or lose, the whole country is already immensely proud of you. The unity and determination you play with is fantastic, anything can happen so let's continue to enjoy this ride and see where it takes us. Cymru am byth.

Believable8 Unbelievable7

06 Jul 2016 10:05:01
Come on Wales!

06 Jul 2016 10:30:29
Me and my dad have worked out how Welsh we are. I am 1/ 64 and he is 1/ 32.

Surname like Jones, it was never really in doubt!

So I am 100% behind Wales tonight. A Robson-Kanu tap in from a Bale cross on the 53rd minute. Nani to equalise on the 84th minutes with a deflected shot (off Ginger Collins) from outside the area. Then Bale to bend in a free kick winner in extra time (117th minute) to rescue the Welsh from penalties. You heard it here first!

Here here good luck Wales.

Yes good luck to Wales and to bring it back on topic a little to our wee Joe! Anyone for Joe to be pushing forward a bit more in the absence of Ramsey and to nick a goal. Best of luck anyway from a newly adopted Irish son. 😁.

Don't say that mk I just put money on Wales to win in the shootout!

06 Jul 2016 16:56:45
I think the jammy Portuguese will win.
I'm hoping not, I'd like Wales to do it but it just looks like Portugal have their name on it.

Be nice for Wales to win and dedicate it to Gary Speed RIP.

Hi Eds

Do you have any thoughts on the Sakho situation? As regards to if you beleive he will receive a lengthy ban or not?

Believable0 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - It is not my decision. He failed a drug test and they have put forward an argument already. They will return to try and squirm their way out of it.}

06 Jul 2016 12:24:48
Eds I thought I seen it reported that Sakho escaped further ban? Wasn't he free to play in the euros but just wasn't chosen.

{Ed002's Note - No, I am not opening up this again. Use the search function.}

06 Jul 2016 07:38:46
Ok eds,

I seen someone else on here mention that a buy back clause was being put forward in canos contract and now the echo are reporting it?

Do any of you know if it's true? I'd like it to be as the lad has showed real promise.

Cheers as always!

Sakho finds out this Thursday from UEFA if he will face a ban, his lawyers have a good argument and feel he will not face a ban, if he is found guilty the minimum is 6mths if it's serious it could be 2yrs, Klopp will be sending a Liverpool representative to hearing and if banned will have to think about another transfer to replace Sakho.

{Ed002's Note - Klopp is not responsible for sending people to hearings.}

What?! Are you kidding ed? I thought after he'd finished making the youth teams packed lunches and swept the terraces, but not before he installed the new roof on the main stand, he sat down and dealt with the general running of the club!? I can't believe I've been so foolish!

#KloppOut

We can't afford to carry slackers. I heard that Ronald Koeman is already papering over the cracks inside Goodison! We need a manager with that kind of dedication and work ethic. If Klopp won't cut the grass at Melwood with a pair of children's safety scissors, then he is clearly not 100% committed.

There it was. Finally! The rumour about us bidding in for Lacazette if we are to get rid of Benteke and Balo d'Or. Going to fence off Gunners with a £31.5 mill bid. Sure we won't be taking in another striker. Even tho both leave we still have three (or four) men for one pos. But IF Studge were leaving, I recon that Lacazette would be the perfect fot for a replacement. I love this time of the year.

Yes. Higuain is in, Lacazette is in, Turan is in. 3 identifiers that's its truly that time of the yr.

06 Jul 2016 07:23:53
Don't forget Tello, our every window link and also Pogba in the overloaded midfield.

06 Jul 2016 08:22:19
David villa is looking for a final hurrah with a prem move too apparently, Liverpool representitives are having a look.

Good morning eds and fellow reds - All thoughts of transfers and lfc wheelings and dealings out for me today as my wife is booked in for her c-section this morning to give birth to the latest little LFC fan. We know it's going to be a girl or at least as sure as the nurse who scanned her can be but as long as baby and wife are fit and well and come back from theatre I don't mind. Posting quite a bit earlier than normal due to not sleeping particularly well lol. May speak later as wife goes to theatre but will announce later the outcome. Keep the faith reds, YNWA.

Believable8 Unbelievable3

{Ed001's Note - congratulations to you both and good luck - you will need it dealing with a girl!!!}

06 Jul 2016 04:52:58
Good luck mate. Agree with Ed001 - I have two boys, then the third was a girl (now 5yo) and she keeps me on my toes way more than the boys did/ do.
She is a netballer just like her mum, but she has her own LFC kit and can trap and pass a footy better than some of the u10's I coach!

06 Jul 2016 08:14:45
Hope everything goes well!
Was that a dig at #2 there #1?
Lol.

{Ed001's Note - no it was more at Ed091, she can be a right pain her.....}

06 Jul 2016 08:18:33
Good luck.

06 Jul 2016 08:44:26
Good luck mate.

06 Jul 2016 08:51:43
Congratulations mate. As a dad to a 3 year old girl I can tell you it's awesome, they ser their dad's as heroes it's so cute. Also she's just started to enjoy the football, she's really enjoyed watching the Euros with dad and wants to watch Liverpool with me this season.

06 Jul 2016 13:21:06
Congratulations dude. I've got 2 girls (4 and 18 months), and they definitely keep you on your toes, but if they can make a 6'3, heavily tattooed man have princess tea-parties, you know they're pretty charming!
