1] THEN the twenty years of plenty came to an end, and twenty years of famine set in.

2] The land was barren, and nothing flourished, and no glory came upon the Kopites.

3] And the Kopites saw the glory of their neighbours to the east, the Devil-Worshippers, and they saw the wealth of the Philistines in the south, who were Muscovites from the house of C.H.A.V

4] Then the Kopites suffered bitterly, and grievously did they pity themselves.

5] And the people came unto the Lord, wailing and rending their garments, which were made from shells.

6] And the Lord said, "Why are you come before me, crying and wailing? Wherefore do you rend your garments that are made from shells?"

7] And the people cried, "Behold, O Lord, we suffer bitterly, like.

8] For Thou hast brought wealth upon the Philistines, and glory to the Devil-Worshippers up the road; but in Thy anger Thou hast forsaken us Kopites, what were once blessed in Thy sight and that."

9] But the Lord replied, "How is it that have I have forsaken you, when I have poured such bounty upon your heads?"

10] But the people looked about them and saw no riches, nor the shining trophies of battle. And they protested unto the Lord, "Where is this bounty then, O Lord, of which Thou fuchen speakest?"

11] And the Lord replied, "Yea, the bounty of the Lord is as the rain, that is drained into the sands of the desert. For it is all gone on the likes of Bruno Cheyrou."

12] But the people wept, and they no longer had faith in the Lord, and banished him from their sight.

13] And the Lord went from that place, and two new Lords came from far away in the West.

14] And the new Lords said that They would lead the people to salvation.

15] Then the people bent over before them, and were overjoyed, and they raised their voices in praise, saying, "We're proper sorted now, la. We're gonna win the league."

16] Now it had come to pass in this time that they greatly exalted the prophet Raphael, who was their leader.

17] For under his rule they fought a battle of many nations, and in the land of Lud they strove against the Berlusconians.

18] And lo, though they were almost destroyed, they fought back and vanquished the enemy, thanks to Stevie G.

19] Then the Kopites made an idol of Raphael, and cried out that he was the saviour, and by his mighty sword they would come forth from the land.

20] But in the end they came fifth.

21] When they saw that the might of the Kopites was nigh restored, all the tribes trembled.

22] But the King of the Devil-Worshippers did not tremble: he was crafty, and in his wisdom he sent a madness upon Raphael.

23] Then Raphael became as a man who dreams, speaking in tongues and seeing visions.

24] And he squandered the wealth of the people on lame and useless servants.

25] For he brought to their camp men such as El Zhar and Ngog, Degen and Bar-Ragan. And he brought Yossi the Israelite, who had settled west of the land of Ham; and Babel, in whose name men built a tower.

26] And he brought many, many more.

27] And soon Raphael feared to venture forth, lest he be vanquished, but exhorted his servants only to defend the camp.

28] Then all the tribes came to loathe the Kopites, because they were so boring.

29] So the people came before the two Lords and said, "Why don't Ye giz some ackers to Raphael, that he may bring further glory to the people?'

30] And the Lords replied, "Behold, we have given him millions and millions of shekels. But in his madness, he spent it on Glen the son of John, and Aquilani the Roman. And lo, he squandered it on Josemi. Now the bounty of the Lords is gone, for he hath spunked it on absolute garbage."

31] But the people were not satisfied, and they wrote screeds of righteous indignation, and kept saying things about 'net spend'.

32] So the Lords cast out Raphael, and sent for the prophet Roy, renowned for his steady hand and his outstretched arm and his good relations with the press.

33] But the people were in mourning for Raphael: they loved him greatly and pitied him. And they did pity also themselves.

34] For they were blind to his madness, seeing only his triumph against the Berlusconians years before.

35] And Roy was an old man, and the Kopites lost countless battles.

36] And the people went berserk, and threatened to come into the house of the Lords and do Them harm.

37] And it came to pass that They were skint, and soon the moneylenders drove Them from the temple.

38] And so yet another Lord came among the Kopites, and he sacrificed Roy and sent for the old King who had lead the Kopites a full score years before.

39] Then the people rejoiced, and cried, "Right, this time we are pure fuchen sorted, la. We're gonna win the league."

40] And there was much laughter across the land.

41) And the laughter soon turned to tears when the might of the great suarez was unleashed upon the devil worshipers, if yeh no what i mean la
42) lo and it it written in the book of Shan Klee that all imposters will get their uppence now the king sitteth on his righteous throne
43) and it came to pass that the king selecteth an army to destroy the devil worshippers, startin with everton tomorrow

This is a very well created post

A valiant effort for a manc. Why not post your name so we can heap praise on your comic talent.
Ye missed out something around point 30 something though pal. That is of course Raphael did produce a miracle and managed to get Djimi Traore a champions league medal.
Also 5 times my friend, 5 times.
Good laugh though.
Mac Daddy Red {Ed001's Note - this is an old Evertonian gag that has been going round for ages, not sure where it originated but it is from the Toffees, so I would suggest the poster is also likely to be one.}

You should have signed it mate. Really great bit of banter. 10 out of ten for effort.
kopfiend 1978 ynwa {Ed001's Note - I doubt he wrote it, it has been floating around Everton forums for a while, it was posted on the Everton site a few days back.}

Nice one..........well done lol........lfc

Very sad to spend so much time and effort (and you know it took a lot of it) just to try and antagonise your rivals! Sad man find something better to do with your time, try getting a girlfriend!

Brilliant!

Haha funny, although the real joke is that Everton have never had 20 years of plenty and never will! YNWA

He already has a girlfriend but the newsagent has to reach her down from the top shelf every month.

There are people on the Everton forums ed?

Fantastic post mate- this one should be saved somewhere in classic banter.
LFC fan or not reading this, you have to have a sense of humour, and this is just quality.

To some of my fellow reds,I shall be having banter with the Man Utd fans, over this weekend, that's right singred a Liverpool fan bantering with the mancs, and may be they will post on this page.Deal with it,you don't pay to read or post on here,so if me, Blair or lfc engage in inter club banter so what.I Would like to ask why do you and others criterize us,this is what we do.
I am not asking for your permission because frankly my dear I don't give a dam.
I have read your post and it's boring.
This is the first and last time I will post regarding you.
Redeyedhector

Your post sounds like your standing in front of a mirror talking to yourself :) lol
kidmillions

Go for it redeyed, we are behind ya!
Jayb

Redeyedhector

So you are one of those naughty boys who post on the United fan site.

Some sensitive Liverpool fans don't like it!

They come out in a rash, and find it hard to cope. Please take into account their sensitive feelings.

Leave your fellow Liverpool supporters in peace to tickle each others bellies when declaring that they are the bestest in all the world football supporters, and don't ask them to accept it is brilliant to banter with lesser beings to challenge and engage in a non-abusive, but light hearted way with any other club's fans, as it is inappropraite!

In other words, go for it Redeyedhector! If some of your fellow LFC supporters don't like it, they are shallow and immature. We love it, so bring it on mate, and that goes for Blair, lfc, Ozone etc.

I come on here and take the mick because LFC are one of the biggest clubs in the world, like United..I take the piss because you should be big enough to take it, and so should we.

Supporters taking the mick, debating, and discussing footy with each other, without nastiness, is what its all about. It probably is all we have!

Tempremental millionnaire mercenary footballers (and we all have them), agents, and clubs financial performance is slowly eroding the heart away from of football...and the heart is us fans, If we can't have a laugh, and see that we have everything in common, irrespective of clubs we support, it is a sad world!

Sir Alex x

Kidmillions,lets play nice.
I don't have mirrors mate, just four padded walls and a hidden door.
Redeyedhector

Sir Alex x,
The banter between clubs is tradition,I have read your post and to be honest its good banter tame and fun,I will read more of your post and then sneak in for the kill, like a shark circuling under its pray.
Redeyedhector

Nice! I like a gaff where you can have a good shout without annoying the neighbours. Keep up the good work..
kidmillions

First time youve spoken some sence Sir Alex
Quigz23

Redeyedhector

I've seen some of your posts, and to be fair, 2 or 3 have not sent me to sleep..kudos!

With the upmost respect, like your fellow "cockney" scousers, you are not fit to polish my 19 League trophies. You will need to bring your girlies, Blair (no-brainer), lfc and Ozone to even interest me with your scouse (history is our specialist subject) drivel.

Everton 3 Liverpool 1...read it and weep!

Lots of love

Sir Alex x

PS Has anyone got any silver polish? If so, send it to Old Trafford, we use so much of the stuff!

Did i log on to the wrong site? The last time i read one of "Sir" Alex's posts it was the usual deluded nonsense. Now there's a sensible one with "Sir" Alex's name attached to it. Ed will you keep an eye on the IP addresses mate, we could have another imposter on our hands.

Thanks.....

Blair Mayne YNWA

Ps. Redeyed, if your door is hidden mate, how do you know there is a door? lol

They open the hatch on the door mate to drip feed me Sambuca
Redeyedhector

Sir Alex x,
I am a Liverpool fan who often comes out in a rash after reading some of the posts on this page, in particular when you post, you see I have very sensitive skin and an extreme allergy to Bull5h!t and every time you type on our page it sets me off.

Samson Rasher

Last time I checked we bought up the entire nation's silver polish supply just so we can get a sheen on those FIVE huge trophies we got from abroad.

cozinoz

You're forgetting they've got loads of runners up medals that need polishing

Not going to get involved in your petty little squabbles... choke up this page with your jibes and insults, by all means.

Like I said, I choose not to participate in senseless debate. Reds are reds, devils are devils, ne'er the twain meet

Just a note to let you guys know Hicks n gillett have reared their ugly heads again and are trying to sue the clubs new saviours for loss of money in the so called EPIC SWINDLE,WHEN ARE THESE TWO T****RS GOING TO GET A CLUE AND REALISE THERE IS NO PLACE FOR COWBOYS AT OUR GREAT CLUB.Soz bout the rant eds, great site.

The only swindle was the way 2 respected business men were robbed of their investment. I have a great deal of sympathy for H&G they were unfairly vilified by the media and fans and I dont begrudge them a penny of compensation.

J Archer

No place for cowboys?....hmm Isnt Comolli at your club?

Great deal of sympathy? go boil yer head in vinegar mate.

Cuchulainn's Hounds {Ed001's Note - did you not read his sign off name? J Archer not mean anything to you?}

Yep, on the guardian website, "Tom Hicks and George Gillett continue to seek Liverpool damages".

I'm sure plenty of Reds will gladly oblige...

Cuchulainn's Hounds

Ah! I missed it completely Ed - reading between this page and articles on hicks & gillette so that one went WAY over my head...

Cuchulainn's Hounds {Ed001's Note - I thought it might have slipped your notice.}

But it worked - it got me going!

Cuchulainn's Hounds {Ed001's Note - bless ya, it just made me giggle.}

I dont get it

That was not me... I didn't post that last comment!

Cuchulainn's Hounds

30 Sep 2011 21:27:13
If you don't think that liverpool are on the right track select your best 11 then look at the the players you needed to leave out. Last year it was who to fill in and this year its who to leave out. Bellamy, Henderson, Carroll, Adam, Kelly, Coates, maxi all these players can't be garenteed a game they will need to work for there right to play and don't forget the youth coming through Sterling, Suso, Coady, Wisdom, Ect and Imparticular Morgan are all a ear closer -McMenemy

Thanks guys

30 Sep 2011 20:59:11
With the transfers I want to see:

1:st eleven (4-3-3)

.................................Reina...............................
Kelly..........*Hummels..............Agger.......*Pereira
.................................Lucas...............................
.................*Sissoko.................*Götze................
...............*Hulk........Suarez.........Downing...........

2:nd eleven (4-3-3)

..................................Doni...............................
Johnson.......Skrtel...................Coates.......Enrique
...............................Spearing............................
................Gerrard....................Adam.................
..............*Remy.........Carroll.........Bellamy..........

Other players: Hansen, Wilson, Wisdom, Flanagan, Robinson, Coady, Henderson, Suso, Kuyt, Sterling

If two more players can be added in january I believe we can definitely be top 4. Then we can add another 4 players in the summer to make our team complete and we can then compete against City and United in the title race next season.

If we can't get all of these players we'll need players like them.

LFC for life

I want to see Messi

Get back on champ manager on your PC mate !! Not going to happen ! This is real life not a computer game....... AND Gerrard in your "second 11"..... Really ?? Sort yaself out soon and get back to reality, sorry ed's just winds me up when people post rubbish

anyone else visiting this site less and less due to the overload of childish bickering that has nothing to do with football? i m a fan of this site and have a lot of respect for the eds , who do fantastic work, but it seems like recently its become a forum for bigots at times, which is a turn off.

Dara D {Ed001's Note - I spend more time deleting crap than doing anything else these days.}

30 Sep 2011 20:49:16
Liverpool are a good team at the moment, but they need to add players to make the next step. Will FSG flex their financial muscle and sign players in January.

Liverpool are a good team at the moment - they just need their new boys to be playing together consistently not new signings

30 Sep 2011 20:43:04
Are any Reds seriously worried about toffees tomorrow? 3 easy points all they do is put 11 behind the ball. 4 -0 Liverpool easy

I'm worried. Moyes is a great manager who can get good performances out of average players. Don't underestimate them.

At least Everton keep 11 men on the pitch to do it.

NO !! Don't underestimate them. Especially in a derby, we are liverpool fans and have integrity, there a decent side and have got results against more and more over the last 3 years, so be careful, we have better quality players so should win, but a derby game..... anything can happen

This is the derby. Pride is at stake. The quality of the teams and their position in the league is of little relevance. It's all about passion and aggression - not skill, style or anything else. At least 1 red card, 4 yellows, Liverpool to sneak it by a goal. RED LENIN

How great would it be if big andy scored the winner tomorrow just a thought

big red john

My team to the bluenoses would be:

reina

kelly skrtel carra enrique

Spearing lucas Adam

kuyt Downing

suarez

If fit i would have Gerrard over Spearing but would be a bit risky. Kuyt is a big game player and i would fancy him to score.
anybody else agree?

Mighty reds

If gerrard is fit, i wud start him over adam, not spearing. Spearing offers grit in midfield, perfect for a derby game.

Indian Buzzer how many times have you seen Leandro Damiono is a target man type. You've only seen him on you tube on doubt. He's the bought the same size as Carroll. Same with Lucas Barrios, Drogba. And statically more goals come from crosses either directly or indirectly then any other way. If you reach 6.2 for instance you should forget about being a forward, doesn't work like that. Thats the what makes football such i great game it is. You've got the little guy Valbuena, about 5.5 in height, then you've got Coates who's 6.5. Then Suarez who's 5.11 but has the centre of gravity of someone about 5.6,5.7. Their's no set height for any position in my opinion for any position. Martin Kelly a 6ft 3inch right back. Target men can be devastating when used the right way. Ala Big Andy against us last season. Whatever happens tomorrow, can we not post for every stray pass that goes astray or chance that gets missed. Lets just get behind the team. Its a massive game tomorrow, the biggest game of the season in the sense it will have a massive bearing on how our season pans out. Weather people agree with the team picked, its the team picked so lets just get behind team and lets leave the pissing and moaning till after. Chris in Tamworth were you hiding mate. Not posted for a while pal. Jonson6

Chris in Tamworth has either found God or has been abducted by aliens, that's what happens to non believers!

dmedly :-)

I'm never far away but I have spent quite a lot of time on the conspiracy site laughing my ass off at how gullible intelligent people can be!
Don't worry, when I've got something to say I'll be back.

Chris in Tamworth

Mate im not moaning. Im just giving my opinion. Tbh there were better options than carrol. we shud have waited till the summer to spend the money. We have all seen how well suarez plays with a mobile n versatile strike partner like forlan, kuyt etc. At this point of time, since suarez is our best player, players who wud improve his game shud be bought, n unfortunately carrol doesnt do that.
Indian Buzzer

Although Andy Carrol has improved IMO he still falls over abit to easily now i know he's young and it's basically his first Prem season so he could be doing it to gain some ground for free kicks etc but do any of you guys think he should Bulk up abit he's a big lad but i think he'd benefit from some muscle

MJ

Adding more bulk IMO would be a pointless exercise, as he showed last season he can outmuscle most defences. I think more work on sprinting would be better, as it takes him a while to get into full flow, but once there he is quicker than he often looks. If we can get a extra half a yard of pace out of him, I think Andy could be a real force.

RedSG

His strength seemed fine last season against Skrtel and Soto, who may not be the best defenders in the world but certainly have strength on their side.

I think it's more a case of his confidence being low and perhaps he's not trusting his body since his injury issues.

I think hos form is beginning to return and if he does start tomorrow I hope je bags a goal because that'll do him the word of good in the derby.

Papa G

Bootle21.you've nowt sorry for mate because it wasn't for sympathy why i put that up, still kind of you to say though. I was just stating it contributed to the way i saw the world after. A mate, one of about 3 to 5 people who i trust in my life said you should write a book about your life because besides the footy my 20's were crazy, my head wasn't right and even know looking back it sends shivers down my spine some of the stuff that went on. Told him i'm only 34 and i value my liberty to much. Just got my s**t together last couple of years. Anyhow, glad its sorted. Jonson6

Right on, Jonson. I like to fancy a movie could be made of my life, seems they can make em from anything these days!

Sorry mate but if you want to write a book you need to improve your spelling and grammar.
Not picking, just found it amusing.

The clown Adrian Durham is saying that if we lose tomorrow Kenny should resign. I wish my jokes were as good as his.

Rafa's Purple Goatie

I heard this on the way home and turned it off; absolute garbage. I normally enjoy listening to Talksport on the way to and from work but this is just trash. The thing is if Kenny was sacked or resigned if we lost the media would be saying that managers aren't given enough time! But then you get that person Durham saying he deserves to go after what would be 7-games - what a joke.

JRG

Don't listen to Talks**te... They just say anything stupid so people will phone in.

Ha ha ha what makes your manager suddenly not accountable for results?

How does he really think kenny should resign i nearly spat my coffee across the room yea we lost to spurs and stoke but we should have won that one im sure he must be just trying to get a reaction kenny has been fantastic i seriously wont listen to talksport every time i hear that muppet is on from now on
giblet

4th post down - KK will judged at the end of the season; as long as we continue to see the improvements in performance from the last few years I'm sure he will be ok.
What I want to know is why you haven't made yourself accountable for your post by signing off?

JRG

If it was down to the Media and the like of talks**te i! Old Whisky Noses first season at the mancs would have resulted in the sack?

Bootle, their's no ifs about where my family come from mate, Bunnow,Doora, Ennis in Co Clare. My aunts and uncles live in Lahinch on the coast as well. No asse licking mate on the Rangers site. Just on their to see what Timmy had wrote about me. A Rangers fan didn't wait nearly 24 hours after the bulls**t went on. Then cut and pasted a fraction of what was said on that page. He put one more thing for my Stalker Johnson6, theirs a song from the 60's, their coming to take you away ha ha hee hee, and so on. I've had a shaky friendship with mental health ever seen my dad on my kitchen floor after a massive heart attack after just finishing work, was 15 at the time, and to prove i could play for Ireland, couldn't find his birth cert, so we had to send the FAI his death cert instead. So dont question where i come mate because one well 2 things i hate are liars smackheads and dealers. Timmy made a special point of pointing out what Ed014 said on this site for his divide and conquer tactic. Like i said, i've the Celtic badge tatooed on my leg. Their my second team but i aint gonna let a Utd fan which he is weather he's Celtic as well try and be a smart asse one one page, then come on hear 24 hours later to bring it up again. Bootle, i'd just been to the dentist this morning, i was in a foul mood and i'm sorry if i offended you, but remember, there's 2 sides to every story. So instead of just saying i was writing vitreol or what ever about him, because he's a Celtic fan it makes no difference to me if its a Liverpool fan talking s**t about me. He's a spam fan anyhow he admitted so himself yesterday. Jonson6

Jonson6 i dont know why your trying to justify yourself to bootle iv been using this site for 2 month,s now and feel your posts are as some of the best iv read on here you get behind the team unlike most your a true liverpool supporter i wouldnt worry about what he thinks just carry on what your doing supporting the team and telling it like it is
giblet

Jonson6, sorry to hear about your father, no offence intended on my part. What I was angry about was you seemed to have it in for one particular poster, and you still seem to, I was bullied as a kid and hate bullying, by calling people names even on here is wrong, but reading Ed014 post it appears someone tried to use this other guy's name and you are mouthing off at the wrong guy, your posts should be directed to the troublemaker. anyway end of Bootle red 21

Good afternoon my legion of fans.

Let me first say, I am a bit upset with the caustic comments regarding my hilarious (Harry Hill) post of yesterday.

Like many of your posters who don't like other supporters to post on this site, I too am gentle, meek and mild, and I am a very sensitive soul. Please bear that in mind, because I'm only trying to cheer you up after your many, many, many, many many, many years of misery!

It is clear my humour is too sophisticated for you all. I dare say if I asked you who your favourite actor was you would reply "Spongebob Squarepants". I now appreciate the level I am addressing!

Anywho, I have good news for you regarding tomorrow's game. I predict Liverpool will only lose by 3-1. that's only a 2 goal difference and is a great result taking account of the quality of players you have. This will bode well for you impending relegation battle this season!

Sir Alex x

Mate
Your hilarious comedy act is on at the appropriate time of day - the afternoon matinee.
Playing to one man and his dog (jonson6) and the dirty old man in a mac (me).
And even then, you're not good enough !
The Real KB

Sir Alex.
Thank you for your words of kindness (lol), after all it was your glorious team who set the benchmark of going 26 or 27 years without a league title.
I am sure this is one achievement LFC will never reach or aspire to.
Wow! That's 1/4 century plus some, sure you must amused yourself during that wonderfully long time, reading the newspapers and clippings about the glorious achievements of LFC.

You're as funny as a wisdom tooth extraction without L A mate The thing is you're so wrong about us not being cheered up in Many yrs. Watching Barcelona totally out class your lot in 2 champions league finals brings a smile to every Liverpudlians face and will do for many yrs to come.

Jiminy Cricket

So long as you promise not to give us Rio or that overpriced young Phil Jones as defensive cover then all LFC fans will be grateful for your meaningful insight Alexis xx. No class you see? A club like ours has it in spades, you lot buy prawn sandwiches and DVDs and take photos of yourselves at home games. When you start losing, and you will as sure as day follows night. Every footy fan knows where your 'support' will go. Then it'll be half priced sarnies and empty seats again , just like it was in the past.
Class matters, you can't buy it (citeh, chelski) you can't win it (you lot).
You've either got it..Or your a Manc..
Now where's that Jonny Walker... Two fingers was it?
ta {Ed002's Note -

Don't forget the previous 44 year league drought the Mancs went through before their 26 year barren spell and the 116 years or so it took them to equal our record.

Right Morgan7, course you could. Thats how i qualified, oh no it was my Old man coming from Clare. Your Spam right. You dream about playing against your beloved Eric Cantona or being on the same pitch, or scoring at Old Trafford or Maine Rd. Done all this before i'd turned 17, oh i was 17 when we had a friendly behind closed doors to help keep Eric fit after he'd done his Bruce Lee thing at Palace. Jonson6

1 - Stop writing on this forum about who you have played for, against, with etc. Its all in the past so drop it, its pathetic. Them days are gone now for you. Stop living off the past.

2 - It was intended as a joke, take it that way and don't jump down everyones throat. Obviously i couldn't play for Ireland, i thought you'd realise i didn't actually mean it?

3 - As a Chelsea fan i can honestly say that my 'dream' has never been to play against Eric Cantona or at Old Trafford or at Maine Road.

4 - I have also played and scored at Old Trafford, also played on Main Road, in fact one of the only grounds i havent played on is Anfield unfortunately as it is one of my favourite grounds. I have also played at Paris Saint Germains stadium. I have also scored a 30 yard free kick against a premiership goalkeeper when he was playing for his reserves as was i. I have also been managed by a manager who is currently the manager of a Scottish Premier League team. I have also been coached by an ex England manager....etc. I could go on and on trying to black cat you about how i'm better than you but its pathetic.

Now i'm 22 and finished in football because i wasn't good enough. Sh*t happens get over it.

Well done for playing for Ireland U-17s though.

Morgan7

Morgan7 - it's not for you to decide what Liverpool fans can and cannot talk about on this banter site. I would much prefer Jonson posting on here than you. If you dont like what is posted on here why don't you return to the Chelsea banter page? Nothing is ever posted on there so you won't get offended.

True Corkpoolred. 4 caps it was though mate. Debut against Holland in Dundalk, then played twice in Germany near Breman against Germany and played my last game against Scotland in Dublin. This guys appeared from no where to start rippin me about something that happened over a day before. Just because Timmy supports Celtic and me and Timmy have had a little run in i aint anti Celtic like the Bootle guy has tried making out. Pure warrior like you said. See your a Munster man to boot. Jonson6

Jonson6, if you are Irish, why are you on rangers pages ass licking all the time and so anti celtic? How many times do you post in a week 30? 40? do you need constant reassurance how good a person you are? I replied because I just got fed up of your alf garnet prejuduces on these pages, by the sounds of it I am not the only one. This will be my last post on this subject as unlike you I have a very nice life to lead. Bootle Red 21

Well done on getting the 4 caps. It's like two Liverpool fans arguing weather Carroll is good enough etc - it happens but as you say the Celtic and Rangers sites are paranoid into thinking that only their fans will only back their respective teams and not put them down - kinda stupid isn't it. Liverpool fans argue alot (sometimes they're arguing with Utd fans though) but that what makes these sites worthwhile visiting doesn't it?

I think the chairman has a secret the fans don't know cos i think there is plenty of money to spend cos comolli said about a big name signing but he said nothing about what window it was going to be in
I would love to see
Eriksen 20mil
Goetze 25mil
Subotic 15mil
Alcântara 22.5mil
Niang 19mil
eds any thoughts {Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath over any of these. And £19M on a 16 year old seems an unlikely move for Liverpool to be making.}

Well it was a random guess so maybe 10mil then

Well good for you mate well done. You've sussed me. What vitriol did i right against a poster. Listen my friend, my family are from Ennis, County Clare, Eire. I've represented Ireland at U/16 level. Have am August birthday which allowed me to play for the age group below my school year, if you knew the rules and regulations you'd know what i mean by that. If you want me to name any squad members from that time. Alan Mahon tap at Tranmere,Alan Mannix who was on Spurs books. Mick Cummins who was at Boro but played mostly for Port Vale in his career, Dessie Baker who played for Stella Maris in Dublin who later went on to sign for Utd. Ian Harte was named in one squad but had to pull out through injury. I've got a Celtic tatoo on my leg mate. Doesn't mean i'm gonna take s**t from a Celtic fan who puts some bulls**t up, a token gesture of what went on on the Rangers site. Pretty sad guy what he did because it was 24 hours after it happened. And really it wasn't that big a deal. I aint assed if you dont belive me, i'm sure i could name some more if i really thought about it, just been to dentist and am on the park trying to keep on eye on my dogs. Why would anyone wake up in a morning and start going on about something that happened 24 hours ago just because you and Timmy are Celtic fans. And quote the vitriol i wrote, please do i'm all ears and eyes, and when you've finished trawlin through the archives to find something i'm sure you'll put it up in all its glory. I stand by every word of what i said about him, Timmy is a Tool, he's all things to all men, a bit like the Tories before people like you probably voted em in. Like i said have one on me because to bring up something so petty when the matter was more or less done and dusted must be drinking something and it aint a brew, well special brew maybe. Jonson6

Fair play man at getting a game with the U16's..
You're worse to respond Jonson6 - I wouldn't, who knows what keyboard warrior you're in war with lol.

Corkpoolred

Can't be hard to represent Ireland at U16 level? I reckon if i had a second cousin who was from Eire i could get a game for the national side now.

Morgan7

I take me hat off to you jonson6 and i'm not taking the piss, but you've managed to constructivley respond to someone who's obviously totally hacked you off without 'losing it' and using 1 expletive after another, well done mate.

All u manc's on our site that have mentioned Tevez or Citeh,Scholes did the same in 2001 in the cup after he was dropped for the LFC game! =D
(Banter site please eds)

ShottskiLFC

Yes your right he did and shame on him, he did however regret it immediately and appologised.... Tevez is a completely different story, his antics for a long while have shown he is a complete a$$hole who does,nt deserve to play football at any level.... HERBIE

@Herbie, can u define the qualifications for playing football at any level besides cheating on wives, cheating with team mates girl friend, greed for money, NO LOYALTY TO ANYTHING, etc.? IMO, the only qualification needed is being a good footballer and bet my a*** that Tevez is a good footballer.

We all know he did not want to stay there in the summer and so Mancini should have let him go then? Did you say the same thing about Mascherano last year and if you did, then your feelings changed when he dedicated the UCL to LFC.

Blame not the players, but blame ourselves the fan who have provided them with so much love, power and mney to act like a****les.

This is football in 21st century capitalist world and only qualification is money money money whereas in the era of Busby and Shankly Football was built on socialist beliefs.

Btw, u must read about the agent of Tevez and then u might feel sorry for Tevez as he is a real talent being wasted by the greed of his selfish agent who literally owns him

Forgot to sign the post above

Above no name poster, you have a good valid point.... Yes, absolutely, the agents do have to much power over players and the modern day footballer has to much power over there respective clubs.... Not often a Pool fan and a MUFC fan agree on things is it.... HERBIE(MUFC)

I appreciate u understand my point (a LFC fan point).

mgz

Hey guys tevez is not entirely at fault for this. The guy wanted out in the summer but sh***y put that ridiculous price tag on his head, not that they needed the money. The situation has been handled badly by sh***y, not tevez.

Thought i'd humour you Timmy because if Bootle 21 was a regular poster or reader which he aint, he's spelt Jonson like only one other person spells it. A certain Celtic fan called Timmy. Its Jonson, not Johnson. Might be a minor detail but its enough to make me think its you timmy. Because why else would you post something, a minor thing really 24 hours later. Just like that post yesterday was cut and pasted nearly 24 hours after. And if you were a regular on this site, you'd know i wasn't a scouser. You've just presumed Timmy boy and come unstuck again. 2 things, its Jonson, you keep in all your posts calling me Johnson, and you've presumed i was a scouser when i've told all and sundry countless times on this page i'm from Preston. Just a s**t starer. You've been sussed royale my sad friend. Jonson6 not Johnson as you've put in every post Timmy, even the Rangers fans spelt it the right. Jonson6.

Johnson6 or whatever, I never said I was a regular poster just a reader, two posts already, you are one of these serial posters that have nothing better to do, you are the one who is sad, by the way the Ed001 can testify my IP address is in England. But I am of Irish descent like a lot of Liverpudlians, hence my being upset at your silly posts. Bootle is where I was born hence that tag, now I am still in lancashire, in fact quite near preston. You seem to see a conspiracy around every corner, start posting about FOOTBALL matters, what about Shamrock Rovers what a following they had at Spurs, up the hoops Bootle Red 21

You make me laugh jonson6, it wasn't too long ago you said you were never posting again as you were getting far too upset from people giving you stick. If you can't take it don't give it, you just make yourself look like a jonson.

Does anyone remember the days when you could stand or sit anywhere you wanted in goodison for the derby without trouble ?
F**** sake, I could never get a ticket for the park end with the Liverpool fans. But I've sat in the main stand, and stood loads of times in the gladwys. There'd be clusters of reds grouped together in there. You couldn't get too mouthy, but you could still have a sing song. Lol, going barmy if the reds scored. Watch the old footage, always see groups of reds in there. Then, after the celebration, trying to shrink away from the edge of your group, cos there'd always be some nasty monster blue nose standing next to you. Lol.
I remember the year Wayne Clark scored to end our unbeaten run. It was like custers last stand in the gladwys, surrounded by screaming blue Indians.
Great though, not like the vitriol you get nowadays.
The Real KB

I'll qualify that last post a bit, cos I always gave the bullens a wide one. That was bandit country.
Which is ironic, given that's where the away fans are stuck these days.
The Real KB

Real KB, 30 mates and I went to parkhead for europa game, year celtic beat us and went to final, celtic pals got us tickets scattered over the ground 6 of us where in their main stand with our LFC colours on, give Celtic boys their due they gave us verbals but nothing nasty, we gave it, they gave it, we accepted this and went for a pint with celtic pals to bairds bar, in gallowgate what a pub, bandit country all right but again no trouble, had good sing song, great memories Bootle Red 21

I've never said i was a scouser. Always said i'm from Preston, saying that your from Bootle your about as scouse as me. Just cause Celtic are your second team, have you woke up and thought. Wow this is going to far even tho their's been nothing posted by me since yesterday. I'll take it, but when i guy takes his time to cut and paste a little bit of what went on nearly 24 hours after it went on, f*** me i'd forgot all about it. Really thought my life was tits up and was sinking fast but to bring some s**t up from yesterday says it all about you mate. I'll give it and take it. Sense of humour, maybe if you were from Liverpool you might have a sense of humour two eh. Why dont you get all the facts before commenting on something you no next to nothing about. Just some mumbo jumbo, cant make real head nor tail of what your trying to get at . Have you been drinking or something to post that first thing in the morning. Have one on me. Jonson6

Morning all
This time last year I was dreading the goodison derby, rightfully so as it turned out.
But this time up, I feel we can do the toffees. I'm a little bit scared we might get hustled out of it, but we should have a good bench. Think this will tell late on. I fancy Carroll to get one you know. Football's like that isn't it - the lads been hugging and puffing. But he's putting the graft it, and I reckon he'll get the high of netting.

I am Liverpool through and through, 30 years standing and sitting in the Kop, seen good, bad and indifferent teams but still my team. But here is my point I also have a soft spot for Celtic and their fans, in idiots like Johnson6 mind that makes me a target of hate in his eyes.
All i see is him posting vitriol against one poster, Johnson6 you cannot be a true Scouser because if you dish it out you have to expect it back, not acting like a silly cry baby, grow a set of balls and start acting like a man Bootle Red 21

This could get messy

Hi Eds,Guys/Gals, If they decide to enlarge anfield,it would make a lot of sence while building is going on,to ground share with everton,it would mean the work would be compleated in a lot less time, and save fans trudging through a builing site to watch games, and also save the builders having to ready themselves each week to accommodate the crowds,it makes sence to me but what do I know im just a successful business man,who once played at goodison and still lived to tell the tale, one more small point we might even save a few bob.(godin)

To the posters who disagree please tell me your reasons, and what your plan would be,Id just love to know.(godin)

Interesting you disagree but you dont know why,and have no alternitive plan.dolly dimple maybe(godin)

Weird...at the start of the summer we thought we'd have way too many cms....now we look like we'll only have 5, only 3 of whom are in any way creative. If Adam and Gerrard get injured that's our season down the toilet. Really wishing we hadn't sold Meireles

29 Sep 2011 23:15:17
Charlie Adam needs to go in Shankly's old sweat box. Lol.
Is he just running out of steam after 60 mins or what ?
The Real KB

Mate adam admitted himself that he isnt even close to the fitness levels of most liverpool players , remember when he was at blackpool the team had no fitness coach or even a nutruitionist so players had to basically look after themselves, so coming to liverpool is a whole new level of fitness for charlie but i believe he is making great progress in this area and we have yet to see the best of him , give him time boys because hes gonna be immense for us.
tommy c

Did he had any fitness when he played for Rangers or is that kind of thing also not a requirement in the SPL?

Adam must lost weight 3/4 KG . but I like his cross so much .

Now that Carling are finishing their sponsorship of the Carling Cup do you think the next sponsor should request that it is made a British Cup, i.e. Allow all teams from Britain to enter?

This would make the Cup more attractive and exciting to all teams involved and may well help the non EPL teams in the process with their lack of finances.

dmedly

Very good shout , it would help out the spl to be fair more than anything but also you would have to still make the prem teams come in at a latter stage as theres so much football , but would make it more interesting anyway..........lfc

It would also set it apart from the FA Cup competition which is really no different from the Carling Cup

cozinoz

Rumbelows Cup, anyone?

SingRed

Mate if all teams from Britain could enter the competition would last about 2 years and have to play midweek twice most weeks with other comps. {Ed001's Note - no, because it would be the League Cup, so only league clubs would be in it. There are far more teams entered into the FA Cup every season and they manage to get that done in a year.}

It would still mean another at least 60 clubs in the league cup and how would they fit into the fixture list {Ed001's Note - same way they do with the FA Cup. It would mean the final would have to be later in the season but apart from that it wouldn't make much difference to be honest.}

What would be the point, no team outside the EPL would ever win it.

Surely disney have to sponsor the cup then it can truly be the mickey mouse cup. as for the british cup idea it sounds like a gd idea but it would never happen would it.

Couldnt agree more kid, this is by far our best team.

Thats a good shout if they could all stay fit. Not a bad bench either with Bellamy, Carroll, Maxi, Spearing, Henderson...

I still think the following is the strongest team this season.

Reina

Kelly - Agger - Carra - Enrique

Gerrard - Lucas - Adam

Kuyt - Carroll - Suarez

If things don't go well. Kuyt off for Downing, Bellamy on for Adam. Switch to 4-4-2

Downing - Gerrard - Lucas - Bellamy

Suarez - Carroll

RenegadeRed

I think when (if) Kenny has a full squad to choose from this could be his line up for home games anyway:

Reina;
Kelly Agger Carra Enrique;
Johnson Gerrard Lucas Downing;
Suarez Carroll.

Sorry but if all the players are fit carra as much as i respect him woul not make the starting 11 he will cost us a goal every second game at the moment
