I have just seen a try awarded for Australia -rugby I know, but I have to do something whilst the missus makes me do the ironing! Well it was disputed but they all looked at TV replays and the try was awarded. No arguing, no controversy. FA, FIFA etc. take note. This is the way forward; the sooner the better. The technology is there and proven.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No arguing, no controversy. Sounds like your house mate. I would have put up more of a fight than to do a load of ironing haha
Just make a mess of it and she won't ask again. Lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I play that one all the time mikey lol but I think she knows what I do be at.

Clearly forward.

Agree0 Disagree0

In case you hadn't noticed its a different game, the day that football attempts to introduce anything like that it will be the beginning of the end for football.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fully agree with Chris - football is perfect because of its imperfections. It creates debate, passion and popularity because, like life, it is not always accurate and fair. Technology would sterilise the sport and take the swinging emotions and contested debates out of the stadiums, pubs and Monday morning workplaces.
Unfortunately, with the amount of investment in football nowadays, it is also inevitable.

With Sturridge out tomorrow I would go 4-4-1-1 with Moses on the left and Coutinho in the no 10 role
Also if Skrtle is injured get SAkho or Toure to deal with a likely aerial bombardment from Hull
Sturridge's absence may give Sterling or Alberto or Ibe a chance from the bench especially if we can wrap the game up early

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree r.e Coutinho its obviously a big blow to lose sturridge but its a great chance to play coutinho in what for me is his best position. while he is doing a decent job on the left its not where he is most effective so hopfully this cloud will have a silver lining and we'll start to c the coutinho we saw a lot towards the end of last season. we've seen in small patches this season but being out on the left wing has hindered him.

Hai Ed. great work. Keep up.

So Sturridge is Injured and out. what was the necessity to play in a friendly, when he was not fully fit?he is a good striker, But sometimes he surprises me. he was warming the stands at Chelsea. we gave him a life. a trump card to save his career and Life. {Ed002's Note - He was injured whilst training. Players get injured all of the time. It is no big deal.}

So Sturridge has injured himself, it will be interesting to see who plays in his place, Aspas still injured? or just not ready? anyway it gives others a chance to impress.

is Sturridge turning into a "sick note"?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

For some reason he reminds me of Torres. Top striker,, but often injured. Thankfully we've got Suarez I just hope the rumours aren't true that he's picked up a knock. I just can't see us winning what should be an easy game without our 2 front men

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Nov 2013 14:12:50
Not Really. All he care is starting berth in National side,, He couldn't get a game at Chelsea, so moved to Liverpool

Agree0 Disagree0

How does an ankle sprain during Liverpool training have anything to do with england

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would be calling him 'sick note', he has played in every game this season including league cup? {Ed002's Note - This is the constant problem with many of the Liverpool fans. It is hopeless.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Unfortunately, There are fans like this for every team Ed002. I've read Chelsea fans comments about how Lukaku "isn't big enough to play for a real top club like Chelsea." Some people just don't get it. Admittedly on these rumour sites, there are a lot more foolish statements here than elsewhere it seems. Like people slating aspas when he hasn't really played yet. Being an American (I think u are)you probably know about UK basketball. I'm a fan, there are Tons of fans, and there are many that are just stupid. Much of it is just blind arrogance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Despite the fact he may have played every game this season, he has played either with no preseason due to an ankle injury over the season, or he has played injured. He admitted that he couldn't even shoot for 3 matches because of injury. The only reason he played is because of a lack of options. He hasn't been fully fit all season. Don't get me wrong - I'm not knocking him - its not his fault he gets injured a lot, but he does. It has also been shown that a half fit Sturridge can still score, but I doubt that he would have played so often if we had suitable cover. Some players eg Kuyt and Suarez seem to be made of granite, but am afraid that Danny Boy is made of less sturdy stuff. I hope he's not out for too long, he will be missed that's for sure.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tjred I agree. Ed002 does say on other teams sites (utd) that they moan and winge as much as us. There are good and bad at every team. however there are a lot more posters on here than other teams sites.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to say, it's people like Harry Scousser who give other decent LFC supporters a bad name.

Agree0 Disagree0

Harry Kewell mark II.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ridiculous post.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ozone, ridiculous statement.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ozone and Harry back at it again

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets try to remember that he worked tirelessly over the summer to get back to fitness before the start of the season and really has been playing unfit for most of the games this season its unfair to be so harsh on one of our star performers so far this campaign

I take it December is going to be a huge month for a lot of teams.

We play Spurs, City and Chelsea all away, not going to be easy.

But at the same time, Arsenal have to play Everton, City and Chelsea as well.

Chelsea have to play Arsenal, us, and Southampton (The way they've been playing, are going to be difficult to beat)

City have to play both Arsenal and us, Spurs have to play us and Southampton.

The only team that really doesn't play one of those big games is Manchester United, which is a worry really as they're closer to the top of the premier league than I'd like.

Good days to come I think, I reckon we can come out of White Hart Lane and Stamford Bridge with 3 points, City might be an issue, but I really think we can make a push for that top 4.

YNWA!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Remember United have have spurs this weekend so a draw or a loss and win to us put us 6 points ahead which is a slightly comfortable gap

Agree0 Disagree0

Man utd playing spurs tomorrow and could always drop points against lesser teams

Suarez, skrtel and sturridge all injured in one days training maybe the coaches need to make it less intense a few days before a game.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Maybe they should just not train at all! Can't afford to get injured ever. No practice no movement. Spa treatment before every game. Board games for mental preparation. Injuries happen. They're part of every sport.

are the reports of Sturridge's ankle injury true? huge dent to our top four aspirations, particularly coming into a critical stretch

if Sturridge and Skrtel are both out of the hull game then I hope Yesil gets a seat on the bench.

After reading comments from Ed02 over the last year I'm coming to the conclusion he is Andy Jacob's from . or he is his twin . Can any other ed's confirm this as we know he is a Chelsea fan and has a bit of a biased veiw of how close Liverpool are to his Chelsea.
I do like the banter though so don't take this the wrong way.

Ynwa {Ed032's Note - There is a growing list of evidence about Ed002 and who he might really be. One thing you are not aware of that might help, the rims of his glasses are made from unicorn horn.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dont know who edd 2 is . but bases character on craig revel horwood, simon cowell and jo brand, think all will agree that's accurate {Ed032's Note - I doubt he would know who they are.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Lord Lucan? {Ed032's Note - Herne the Headless Hunter?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Pat Nevin definitely!

Reports saying Suarez is a major doubt to along with skrtle.
How are we going to score?

Mig

Johnson
Toure
Agger
Flano

Lucas
Allan
Gerrard

Hendo
Coutinho
Moses

Or

Lucas
Gerrard
Hendo

Moses sterling coutinho?
What a horrible training session that was!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think Suarez is ok but Sturridge might not be and Skrtel will probably miss out as a precaution.

Suarez
Moses, Coutinho, Henderson
Lucas, Gerrard
Cissokho, Agger, Toure, Johnson
Mignolet

Jones, Toure, Flano, Allen, Alberto, Sterling

The seventh spot might go to one of; Kelly, Ibe, Yesil or Aspas if he is back by then as he is due to return in 7 days.

Agree0 Disagree0

Suarez doesn't get injured

Agree0 Disagree0

Suarez is a freak of nature, practically indestructible (shame he isn't self indestructible).
