The support our players and coaching staff get from our fans is simply overwhelming! They make me so proud to be a Liverpool fan! All a player has to do is to visit this site and read the comments made about them and it will make them proud to play for this club and make players want to join this club! We support them when they are playing good and we support them when they are playing bad! How anyone can call us fickle and embarrassing is beyond me! (wink wink ed002)

Believable1 Unbelievable15

{Ed025's Note - i think thats pathetic to be honest steph, what ever happened to calling a spade a spade and telling it like it is!, if everton play well i will be the first to applaud them and sing their praises, even if the result is not the one i want but the players give 100% then im a happy bunny, but when they play poorly and there seems a lack of effort or a basic lack of skill then i want to know why, you need to grow a set mate..

28 Apr 2017 17:40:41
I'm pretty sure that if he was given a contract extension after the Everton game where everyone was raving about his performance, people wouldn't be moaning as much! And a teams shortcomings are hardly down to one player! And what does growing a set have to do with it? What good will it do moaning about Lovren getting a new contract? Will the club see the error of its ways and cancel it, or sell him to the first interested party? This has nothing to do with what I think of the player but I do believe that the negativity of fans does have an effect on a team.

{Ed025's Note - the thing is steph is that if a team play crap and are applauded off the pitch then they will think they have done enough mate..boo the hell out of them if they deserve it..

28 Apr 2017 18:37:27
Everything is hyperbole. Either a player is brilliant and if you think otherwise you're denigrating the club and the player and aren't a proper fan, or a player is terrible and if you think otherwise you're accepting mediocrity and aren't a proper fan. Nuance seems to be lost.

Lovren is unsuitable for Liverpool FC. He's actually quite capable of being a good defender, but if he's not under pressure for long periods in a game he switches off and makes mistakes - and he lacks the pace to recover from a mistake. If he was at Swansea and was constantly pushed back into his own third under pressure in games, he'd probably be brilliant, but he's not. He's at Liverpool where we have long spells of possession, play with a high line, and he is liable to stop concentrating and be caught out when the opposition counter.

I don't hate the guy, I don't think he's a poor footballer, but unless he learns to concentrate for a full 90 minutes he's unsuitable for the Liverpool first team and I'm not sure giving him a long contract was the best idea. See? Nuance.

28 Apr 2017 18:03:14
No arguments there ed025, but in lovrens case, maybe Klopp sees something we don't, maybe he believes in him, even if I don't! Let's say we didn't renew his contract, sold him in the summer, broke the bank and bought in Van dijk, like we did with Lovren, didn't perform well for the 1st month, got on his back and start moaning about wasting our money on crap, AGAIN! I just see it as a vicious cycle which doesn't help the cause.

{Ed025's Note - i see your point steph but how many chances do you give a guy who lets you down constantly?, if he was going through a bad patch then i agree with you, but when that bad patch lasts for 2 years then you have to ask yourself if he fits at this club, im not saying hes talent less mate but some players just fit and some dont and for me he just does.nt..

28 Apr 2017 18:18:20
I agree with ed25 here, some fans are ridiculous with the notion that we always have to wear rose tinted glasses regardless of the situation. The same people sounded a lot different during the Rodgers era, and unfortunantly it's a double standard that's started to rear its ugly head. I agree that if lovren was handed a contract after a game where he performed well, people wouldn't complain as much but there would still be some who frown upon it. All season fans have been saying we need a better centre back partner for Matip, even when lovren or klavan have played well, because some fans are actually educated football fans that think logically. Now with several of the eds saying we're not showing any interest in any centre backs at the moment coinciding with lovren getting a fat new contract, maybe some fans think we may stick with what we have or at least not get a CB that is a clear improvement on what we have. If that is the case then people are right to doubt. I'm tired of this beating around the bush, slating and needlessly bashing players and the management should stop, I agree, but when criticism is deserved and constructive then be quiet and get of your high horse. Lovren in particular has been a consistently error prone player for the entirety of his time here, which has costed us points. I'm interested to know your views on Moreno and mignolet, do you give your unwavering support then? Lovren is at best a 3rd choice centre back, I think that's where he should be, unlike others who want him sold.

In the live chat, I remember people where questioning klopps choice to leave out coutinho and firmino for the first half against stoke and play a completely new system with a few youngsters after a disappointing draw against Bournemouth, some voiced their frustrations and one troll said Klopp out (this was at 1-0, with the team performing awfully) . Then a few posters that didn't speak at all at 1-0 came on at 2-1 calling anyone that criticised the decision fake fans and bashed everyone lol. When we lost to palace, they where nowhere to be seen the whole time. These are the so called 'real fans'

{Ed025's Note - i cant argue with any of that Kman..

28 Apr 2017 20:44:13
I don't like the fact that he was rewarded with a new improved contract the way he was performing, but What am i supposed to do now ed025? keep bashing the guy till 2021, or keep hoping to sell him? Its like the opposing team being awarded a penalty, which wasn't, you can shout and scream at the reff all you want, he won't change his decision. What matters is how you get on with it.

{Ed025's Note - i will have that steph but lets not be happy about it, its ok to have an opinion different to others you know...its not the stepford wives.. :)

28 Apr 2017 21:13:22
Trust me dude, I am not happy! And I get where people are coming from. I actually don't think I have the stomach to watch any more Liverpool game after the palace one! But what am I to do? I am a Liverpool fan! Masochism is in my blood!

{Ed025's Note - welcome to the club mate.. :)

28 Apr 2017 22:32:03
Kman - I was at Anfield for the Palace game so that's why I wasn't on live chat.
Personally I think it's pretty poor to be criticising the manager half way through the game. A football game is over 90 minutes, very rarely does a team play well for 90 minutes, the game fluctuates.
At the end of the game, if you've lost and played poorly you deserve criticism but not at half time. Give the manager a chance to turn it round before you throw him under a bus!
As for Lovren - good luck to him. It's not on the same scale as the Mignolet new contract so nothing surprises me. If we're not signing a new defender then it might mean Gomez gets a run which is a good thing ultimately.

28 Apr 2017 22:25:22
Personally i think the only fans that can affect a performance are the ones at the game. Certainly in the situation a team can be encouraged to do better or go into their shell if the fans start getting on the teams back, something that very rarely happens at Anfield may i add. I don't think a football forum will have much affect if im honest.

28 Apr 2017 23:16:44
This isn't actually in support of Lovren but the fact is that he is one of the last line of defence. The second goal could and should have been prevented by Firmino who was the nearest player to the cross. He could easily have put the ball into touch but for some reason he allowed it to pass him. The corner was so bad that it fell perfectly for Benteke to score. The first goal was caused by some poor inter-passing out on the left. One of the problems is that when Liverpool clear a ball it goes to an opposing player putting that side into a good attacking position. When Liverpool attempt to clear they don't because nine times out of ten the ball still goes to an opposition player. There are far too many missed passes played by Liverpool.

29 Apr 2017 06:26:37
To add my 2 pence, ed001 has been saying for a long time now Gomez is seen as the future at cb he looks an outstanding tallent, most are fairly happy with national too. Loveren if I'm right had about 1/ 2years on his current deal? So the plan as I see it is for Gomez and loveren to battle it out next season with maybe klavan happy as 3rd 4th Choice. Now the timing of the deal is essential, if in the next 6/ 12 months Gomez does push on and keep improving and takes loverens place then would he signs new deal? No, of course he wouldn't. We would then be in a situation of having a senior pro possibly unhappy and entering the last year of a deal. A situation where teams will low ball us into a cheap selling price as we have seen plenty of times recently. We will not be signing a 1st choice cb, if we do what about gomez? Do you expect him to sit about and waste that massive potential? No he would be out to a club that valued him! Luckily the club has people in place that think about the long term interests as some of these posts recently are a joke.

29 Apr 2017 06:38:00
My concern is the quoted wages (and I'm assuming that is flat without the extras) . If that is what we are openly paying a decent but not top grade performer, what are expectations going to be for anyone already at the club whose agent reckons they're as or more valuable than DL and significantly what will a definite upgrade from that level now cost in terms of wages.

Or am I being unfair and actually the level (s) above are going to cost huge money anyway?

29 Apr 2017 07:44:52
Who would people realistically sign to replace Lovren?
There is no guaranteed quality who wants to sign for us and bear in mind we might not actually get champions league next season. The club has to be sensible.

29 Apr 2017 09:43:50
Spot on, Kman and Ron. Perspective is always needed. Per Lovren, I would not have given him a new contract BUT I'm not the manager so I trust that Klopp sees something in him and things that he can fix his rough edges. But if he has a poor game, then he should be criticized for having that type of game and that should stop there. The problem is that it doesn't stop there. It goes on and on and even the manager gets dragged into it. As for fans slating the manager during the game, that is just childish, petulant nonsense. People just trying to have it all their way without any nuance and level-headedness. They act as if there is no half time or in-game changes that a manager can make to turn things around. Patience is now extinct in the modern day supporter. we need more fans who are critical of the team when appropriate BUT know where the water's edge is.

29 Apr 2017 16:11:57
Ron I don't disagree about being realistic but why not be realistic in a few weeks time, his contract doesn't end any time soon enough to justify doing it now.

29 Apr 2017 19:37:13
I don't know Fresht, maybe his agent is agitating?
At the end of the day, contracts work both ways. If Lovren has a storming 12 months and is player of the year, the new contract protects the club too.

28 Apr 2017 16:53:45
Just want to put this out there.
Very much against the norm and I'm prepared for the barrage of abuse that will follow.
In Klopp I trust
I wish Henderson, our club captain a full and speedy recovery!
Danny Ings I cannot wait to see you perform under JK guidance.
Dejan Lovren. Congratulations on your new contract. (In Klopp I trust) and you of course
Good to read the news DS and AL are back in training.
Any associated person to Liverpool football club
You will never walk alone.

Believable6 Unbelievable11

{Ed025's Note - lovren must think he has won the lottery gazza, the only reason he should be given a new contract is that when some mug of a team goes in for him that liverpool are not mugged off mate..

28 Apr 2017 17:10:24
No way you can condon lovrens new contract simply madness, I thought we were about to leave the years of mediocrity sadly I seemed to hope for too much.

28 Apr 2017 17:19:31
Maybe if fans got behind the players instead of asking them to be replaced every year would help us leave behind this mediocrity?

28 Apr 2017 17:44:58
Ya Steph let's get behind the players, the likes of Lovren who have continued to be utterly appalling but ya let's support him and accept that he's the best that we could buy. wake up.

{Ed025's Note - tell me about it sakho mate..

28 Apr 2017 18:11:03
How is moaning about it going to help the team or the player Sakho? That's my point! I agree with ed025 above, boo them, show your displeasure and disappointment when they play crap, but you have to support them if they are to progress!

28 Apr 2017 18:22:38
Renewing Lovren's contract isn't madness at all. His previous contract was set to expire in 2019, so a new deal would have to have been addressed at some point in the next 12 months, and it makes sense to do it sooner rather than later. No one wants to see him leave for free. I don't think he deserves a pay rise, but such is the way in football.

Klopp addressed all the reasons for the new deal in his press conference this morning, and I tend to agree with him.

Of course, there are better defenders out there - and I hope we sign one of them. A new contract doesn't guarantee his place in the team every week.

28 Apr 2017 18:45:04
At the end of the day its klopp's decision. Of corse moaning isn't going to change anything but people here are quick to blame players ed2 owners etc saying how our squad lacks quality when our manager is the one pulling the strings and happy rewarding mediocrity 100k per week.

Once Ron said "klopp have got blind spot for keepers" seems defenders too or maybe he needs some help as he always worked under DOF who was the one helping him when it came to recruitment contract etc.

28 Apr 2017 18:19:27
Another sarcastic reply, maybe if you made a valid point we could have a mature conversation but I've hoped for too much c'mon ed025.

{Ed025's Note - excuse me sakho but that was not sarcasm mate, i was actually agreeing with your post but make of that what you will..

28 Apr 2017 20:09:53
It's all very well saying get behind the team (and I do agree we should) but getting behind them doesn't turn a poor or average player into a good one! Sure they may have the odd good day but I don't see why we should keep pretending everything's fine and all the players are great. For all the people saying we criticise our players too much, I don't see any of their teams queuing up to take them off our hands. I know sometimes we may go over the top and be unfair in our comments, but we have to draw the line somewhere and part of my frustration is that we continue to hold on to mediocre players hoping they will one day take us to the level of the top tier teams. You simply cannot consistently win without quality (I didn't say spending lots of money) and there are some in our squad that are not quality. If you disagree let's see at the end of the season what type of teams make an offer for them.

28 Apr 2017 22:33:40
It's up to Klopp at the end of the day and spending money does not guarantee you quality.

29 Apr 2017 03:05:43
Maybe we might go out and sign a new centre back or Gomez might get his chance next season. But with Lovern getting a new contract it keeps him happy and it becomes harder for him to get an easy move away if he doesn't like being stuck on the bench or just being used for cups games.

29 Apr 2017 06:48:52
The whole just shut up and get behind the team that is how they will improve argument is massively oversimplistic. Some players are impacted by this kind of site, but that cuts both ways. Some may get disheartened (but then far more you will hear players who that happens to quoting the response they got at matches) . Some however may take the view they'll prove us wrong. A lot depends upon their character and whether this is just a job etc. Equally just blindly supporting without constructuve criticism creates the view the fan base will accept any pile of excrement for a performance. I agree there has to be a balance and what is said should be constructive but saying all is rosey in the garden isn't going to improve the players, the coaches or the idea of what the fans and the club expect from them. Saying all isn't well may not change things but it is more realistic against the club owners and manger's stated ambitions and ultimately they are the audience as much as the players.

29 Apr 2017 09:50:02
Razor, it is very possible to disagree with a player getting a new contract and still getting behind the team during games. Two things can be right at the same time.

Spot on, Ron. VVD for example, plays in a defensive system that has two DM's protecting him so he is rarely exposed. No one knows how he will fare here where that protection will not be as strong. As Ed01 says, quality CB's like, GK's, are hard to find and those clubs who have them are NOT going to sell to you so might as well groom and coach up the ones you have like Lovren and Gomez hoping they can step up. I am interested in seeing how Gomez does next season.

29 Apr 2017 10:02:54
Ron, I have to disagree with you there. Spending money has made huge differences to Chelsea, Manchester City and Utd. Before Abromavich when was the last time Chelsea won the league? City hadn't won a trophy for almost 45 years before the Arabs came in, and Utd had been the richest club in the league for years and still spend bigger than most teams. Also the additional cash being pumped into football by Sky and BT have made all clubs richer which is why the PL is such a difficult league now. Spending money might not guarantee you quality, but spending huge amounts usually does.

29 apr 2017 14:39:26
kbl, i agree. we have spent money too under fsg but in the wrong way and on the wrong players, overall. money may not guarantee you trophies but money spent stupidly will definitely guarantee you nothing.

30 Apr 2017 23:05:31
NRed I think you've misunderstood me, that's the point I was trying to make.

28 Apr 2017 15:59:23
Bernardo silva is a great player imo
Would you like us to sign him eds?

Obviously right now that won't happen but, what is your point of view on him and do you see fitting into our system.

Thanks in advanced.

Cheers mate!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - he is quality and you can always find a way to fit quality into a side. It would be just a case of who would drop out to make way for him? If you are talking about the team we have, with Mane fit, Silva would have to go left and Couts would have to drop deeper. That is the only fit I see for him when we are full strength.}

28 Apr 2017 16:35:34
I would absolutely love that! Sadly.
Would we be interested? Have we had him watched at least.

{Ed001's Note - being interested does not mean we have a chance.}

28 Apr 2017 16:50:01
He would cost an absolute bomb even if we could convince him join us in the first place.

29 Apr 2017 09:51:34
Silva is a class player however if you want any of those Monaco players, get your check book out and be ready to right a lot of 0's on it.

28 Apr 2017 13:09:34
Afternoon lads

Origi has been worrying me our last few games. I love his enthusiasm but i really don't know has he the awareness to be a success. I hope I'm proved wrong but not looking likely

What do ye make of him, I also do understand he is young

Cheers.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

28 Apr 2017 14:12:28
Erm its difficult. The last few games none of Liverpool's players (apart from Coutinho really) have been playing particularly well. It would of been interesting to see him earlier on in the season when we was playing better football to judge him. Yet when Coutinho, Firmino and Mane are in the team, I don't see him getting in.

28 Apr 2017 14:21:28
Give him Time, I am very confident about him I think he will kick on in time and be our next number 9 I think.

28 Apr 2017 15:47:13
He has very poor football intelligence- always appears to run into trouble and needs to simplify his game rather than just running the ball into blind alleys.

28 Apr 2017 15:50:00
Everyone plays better when Mane is on the pitch. He seems to stretch teams at the back which gives Origi more room to play in.

Origi like most of our players seems to do well against the bigger teams I think, his advantages don't lie with the quick passing we get with Firmino and Coutinho and he's pretty much our only striker that is good in the air.

He is still young, he'd be a great option off the bench the fact we have to rely on him so heavily because of injuries puts his limitations in the spotlight. Give him some more time 22 is still really young. I'd be more inclined to have a go if he didn't put a shift in but he clearly does.

28 Apr 2017 18:43:54
I get the impression with Origi that he was easily able to bully and outrun people at youth level and never really had to learn to be a bit more savvy than that.

Still he's only just gone 22, has only had two stop-start seasons at this level, showed at the end of last season that he can be a good player. It'd be nice (and possibly good for him too) if we had Sturridge or Mane available and didn't have to depend on him under these high pressure circumstances, but it is what it is.

29 Apr 2017 09:55:04
Origi is talented with all the tools needed to be the modern day CF. He just needs time and game time to put it all together. He's young and still learning the game so he needs time and experience to become effective and more savvy.

28 Apr 2017 12:41:04
Just one question ed01 do you believe this summer we will hold on to our best players and be able to bring in good players to strengthen the squad, or are we going to loose key players and just rebuild again. It seems to have been the story of the last twenty years. Couts is the one that springs to mind this year. Just your gut feeling on how you feel the summer will go please. Thanks.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - I think it all depends on Champions League qualification.}

28 Apr 2017 11:54:50
Happy to see that Lovren has signed an extension and I believe he will become a better CB over the next 4 years.

Believable7 Unbelievable10

28 Apr 2017 12:14:24
I think Moreno really deserves one too, I believe he will become a better player over the next 10 years.

28 Apr 2017 12:19:18
I really hope this does not mean that Klopp will stick with what he has at CB for next season. We desperately need a decent partner for Matip or its another 50 league goals we will be conceding next season.

28 Apr 2017 12:25:48
you guys do not remember Mark Wright - this is like a repeat great world cup . move to Liverpool have a crap couple of season's and then become an excellent asset to the club - here's hoping history repeats itself and mind you VVD is not the answer.

28 Apr 2017 12:29:43
Just need to give a new contract to mignolet now and we will be all set for next season, maybe bring konchesky back in the summer as back up.

28 Apr 2017 12:30:53
It suggests we're not looking at CBs this summer which is a concern but it's actually great news for Gomez. It means Klopp's happy with his options with Lovren and Matip first choice and Gomez as the understudy. If it works out it means Gomez is seen as the long term solution to our issues at CB.

28 Apr 2017 12:31:32
This really does not make much sense to me, unless it's to prop up his value in case of a sale in the summer, which I doubt. Does Klopp rate him so highly that he wants him around for another 4 years until he's 31? Complete mystery to me. If he's going to persist with his four CBs of Matip, Lovren, Klavan and Gomez, then I don't expect much improvement in letting goals in.

28 Apr 2017 12:31:45
If klopp believes we don't need a CB then he needs sacking.

28 Apr 2017 12:37:52
Over the next 10 years? LOL
He is 28 this summer mate. Do your research. We have already seen the best of Lovren, and it simply is not good enough to warrant being a regular first team player. If no quality CB is signed this summer, next season is going to be another bummer.

28 Apr 2017 14:00:30
Maybe klopp has realized he needs to tweak the defensive system for better results. Lovren has shown time and again that he can be a top cb, remember how he had the best striker in the league, lukaku, in his pocket in the derby which prompted the Ed to call it a 'masterclass in handling lukaku' or something on those lines. Maybe a more accomplished and composed player like Godin can sort him out but how many Godins out there are lining up to sign for us? I think We need to address our approach to defense and our strategy as a priority and work on individual technique. I hope klopp can fix that.

28 Apr 2017 14:30:01
Indian buzzer, hx was talking about Moreno and I believe he was being sarcastic.

28 Apr 2017 18:08:44
VVD may not be the answer, but of a truth, there is a question.

28 Apr 2017 22:20:52
I think he was speaking about Moreno over the next 10 years not Lovren.

28 Apr 2017 22:45:36
Maybe Klavan is the player to go. Maybe Klopp likes both Matip and Lovren but due to their injury concerns he feels he needs another quality CB anyway. People pronouncing doom and gloom on guesswork! I've got an idea, why not wait until the window is shut, never mind open before ranting and raving?

I too would like a quality CB but none of us really know what will happen. There's areas all over the pitch that could be strengthened BUT it depends on who's available, who'll come and who we can afford. I personally don't care as long as A. They want to wear the shirt with pride and B. They improve the first team and C.

29 Apr 2017 09:58:23
I think has seen that we need more continuity in the CB position instead of bringing on someone else who will have to adapt. Hopefully, Lovren can step up now and take responsibility.

28 Apr 2017 11:15:22
Bertrand to Liverpool

Yes? No?

Thanks

Kam.

Believable5 Unbelievable11

28 Apr 2017 18:38:42
I think he's good fullback and if we're going to continue our annual donations to Southampton FC, he'd be top of my list.

29 Apr 2017 10:08:56
I would take Cedric at RB tmrw. He is to me, the best in the PL.

28 Apr 2017 08:12:16
Just as I predicted Mourinho went to the Etihad and parked the bus. He's always been a manager that plays percentages so it's likely he will do the same against Arsenal and Spurs and try to nick the result with a set play or goal on the break.

Last night's score isn't actually too bad for us especially considering they have lost another player for the next 3 games.

I said they will beat Arsenal although wouldn't surprise me if this was also a draw and I cannot see them beating Spurs.

And still some tricky opponents in between like Southampton and Crystal Palace. So still a few more twists and turns before the climax. Fourth place could even very easily ne decided on goal difference.

Believable8 Unbelievable1

28 Apr 2017 09:41:43
They will play with a bit more steel against Arsenal who are abysmal. They did beat Chelsea at home. Jose knows exactly what he is doing. I am not confident on us beating the next 4 opponents which is exactly what Jose might be thinking as well.

28 Apr 2017 09:42:09
Just win our games get to 78 points and keep our fingers crossed.

Man u winning all there games can get 79 points. So one draw and us winning all ours is fourth.

28 Apr 2017 10:43:57
I think Man U will drop at least 4 points in their remaining games- so 3 wins and a draw should be sufficient- but any losses and we are are out.

28 Apr 2017 12:04:45
Swansea will be tough, Arsenal will be tough and Spurs I hope will score 3 or 4 past them. Saints and Palace may be no mark games with 6 points on offer for United. let's see how they fair against Swansea which should be a tough match for them first off.

28 Apr 2017 12:10:51
I think we'll come 3rd.

28 Apr 2017 12:45:46
In my eyes there's still 4 teams in for 3rd and 4th you can't rule Arsenal out yet. They would go level with us if they were to win their games in hand. Makes for an exciting end to the season and happy that we are involved in all honesty it would be nice to have it in the bag but where is the fun in that!?

28 Apr 2017 12:50:36
Love you Ron! Keeping the faith.

28 Apr 2017 18:48:32
I hope we get 4th.
But IMO, it's Man Utd's to lose.
Mourinho has a great record vs Wenger. and Spurs can choke again like last year.

If united and city win there games on Sunday which they most probably will then we will be fifth with same number of games played and huge pressure going into the watford game monday night.

Its not in our hands anymore as we expect others to drop points now . that palace defeat is a big blow and we need to win all four of our games at any cost.

It'll be back in our hands soon enough .

But whether we can keep it in our hands is totally another thing.

Jose played for the draw tonight prioritising the Europa league but still having a chance in getting top 4 if that goes Titsey up.

Feloni is Jose's new henchman fouling an breaking up play to knock other team out of rhythm. He will be badly missed for the next 3 games.

It's the sad reality, the Palace result barely feels real and in all honesty I saw very little in that performance to say we will be able to beat Southampton and West Ham too, until we learn to defend we don't deserve top 4.

Utd will almost definitely drop points at Spurs and most likely down the road at Arsenal too. I remain optimistic.

In his usual coarse, noisy, vulgar way, JM is turning things around at MU I think.

I read somewhere the other day that they haven't lost a premier league match for 20+ games.

So, after 33 games each, it was in our hands.
After 34 it might not be, but it might be, we don't know.
Whatever happens there will still be 4 games left to play, a lot can change in 4 games.
We'll get there 😎.

Everyone's going on about the tough games utd have. we can't even beat palace at home. Were doomed!

Lol roller keep the faith, seriously though we need our players to stand up and be counted now. I have placed misguided trust in that before and been let down. Im trying not to be pessistic but Its unlikely we will win the 4 games so we will be heavily reliant of other teams having a harder run in with hopefully a few slip ups. It will no doubt go down to the last day with a lot of nail biting on our part.

I would have been more confident if mane was not injured because he has that unpredictability that always threatens a goal and he is a winner. We need more players like him in the team in future.

The same Palace that beat Chelsea. Are they doomed? Hope the players don't think like you.

28 Apr 2017 12:28:55
Obviously they do. turning up for the big guns and not giving a crap about the teams under 8th in the league. Crap mentality. But we'll see.

All, we did well to get 3 points away at Westbrom and Stoke, and yes I am gutted about CP but they're a tough side and we got sucker punched. Could so easily have been different with a few less injuries, or if Coutinho had won a penalty, just as it could have been different if Migs hadn't save against Berahino.

There will be ups and downs, City or Utd will definitely drop points between them, let's just focus on winning our last 4 games and making top 4 ours. Believe and support the team!
