Got to be said I was quite disappointed by the turnout tonight. Both ends of the main stand where practically empty bar a few here and there.

Also, do any of the eds know why we accommodate away fans in the middle of the upper centenary? Are they away corporate fans or something. It's just always stuck me as a bit odd, particularly when there space in the away end.

Onto the game. Dire. We created a few glorious chances and yet we where still very poor. Unfortunately that says more about Sion than it is does liverpool. Make no mistakes they are not a quality team.

If anyone disagrees with Ed001s previous comments regarding the fullbacks then torture yourself and watch the game again. They are spot on. They push up so high and then literally do nothing but occupy space. Any ball into them and they have to drop back to receive it. By the time they have controlled it they have been closed down and the ball begins its way aimlessly back across the line to the other fullback.

We desperately miss somebody driving the midfield forward. The change necessary tonight, in my opinion, was sakho for Allen. Bring Can into the midfield to drive at their defence. The limited times he bombed forward they simply couldn't cope. We have a lot of gears in that midfield but we don't have an engine.

I wouldn't even mind but to make the night more annoying the old sod sat next to me didn't even offer me a wine gum as he and his wife polished off a whole bag. Git.

Another thing that winds me up about Can in defence is it really is a waste of talent. The kid can just nonchalantly ping a ball 40-yards. His passing range is really good, and that's been a major miss since Henderson got injured.

Sorry but I just don't get all the hype regarding Can. He's far to slow on the uptake. Cannot defend for the life of him. He's ok as a ball carrier from midfield but Henderson does that better. He's slower than Toure when we lose possession. Opposition go past him as if he ain't there. He showed it against the Portuguese teens and too many times here. He has a very long way to become half as good as some seem to think he is.

Agree poolie, he's good in possession moving into space but even then it's not often it turns into a killer pass at the end. In defence they play around him in midfield too easily. We need a high energy midfield with solid experience at DM.

As for Sion I really didn't like the way we played it around the back 3 then into the FBs ,then back to the back three. . I think we gave up the midfield, we need to have a back 4, midfield 3 who can pass the ball through to the forwards at pace (milner, Hendo, Coutinho, Llalana) then a no. 10 sitting in behind the strikers. Can't believe we've got the perfect team for a diamond and it did us so well in 13/14 and yet we haven't seen it since.

My point with Can was it was clear there was a very obvious threat they where where struggling to defend against and we didn't exploit it.

Well I've said it a long time now the man is a Spoofer he's waffled his way this far and convinced most but ffs enough is enough saying we are rebuilding again and again it's sad to say but I'm heart broken we are a mid table team now with him let's face it we can live with yesteryear and nostalgia but our sliver wear days are over with BR at the reins he's got to GO!!!!!

To be fair we need to have a little perspective here. Going on past performance in europe (boths comps) who really expected anything different. Seriously hands up at the back if you thought brendan would do anything different.

We are nothing but a midtable also ran under rodgers and nothing will change that, so we accept that and say great point against a team that lost its last game against the bottom team in the swiss league.

Yes, the brendanites will come on here saying we had chances but just a wee bit unlucky with our finishing blah blah. Then everyone will attack them for a wee bit and then we will settle down to the daily brendan insults and moans but it just won't change a thing.

I say let him finish the job and give him more time to destroy our legacy, maybe 3 more years and we can win a cup in the playoffs from the championship. Errrr actually that might even be beyond him. Well onwards and upwards as someone somewhere says.

I agree the thing is do you thing a different manager with the same players would be a mid table team?

I think a different manager would get better results with what is available - therefore all those that say it's a results business what do you think of our first 10 results?

lets not even talk about performances!

The rule you mentioned, applies to all managers but when BR is concerned, things then get complicated

Hoola I'm not so sure we have that good of players. But we certainly don't have this BAD of players either. I don't think we should be winning the league, but good god we should be wiping the floor with teams out of form like Aston Villa at home.

BR is who and what he is and that won't change. The main reason he's still here or was kept is that he has allies within the club's board. They are the ones who decided that this farce we are still enduring with no end in sight, continue with BR at the controls. I propose we focus our energy on that frankly, only the board can put us out of our misery. When that will be? Only God knows.

Moreno has been playing really well, so therefore he must be dropped for a substandard performer.
Moreno-Enrique
Gomez-skrtle.
Why are you questioning Brendan Adam?
I'm sure Enrique will be outstanding tonight and show great character.

He's not been registered for the Europa League and therefore can not play. Just the u21's for the next year before he will leave for free in the summer, unless a club will match his current wages in the January transfer window.
