============================

So now transfer windows do not matter any more??

Liverpool will make a strong attempt to sign Dann. This would be a good signing cause Bermingham have performed poorly since Dann sustained the injury that ended his season.

19 May 2011 23:47:58
With all the left backs being linked, I'm surprised that Schmelzer has not been mentioned. He has had a fantastic season

19 May 2011 23:46:30
It's about Ashley Young agreeing terms. It's all over twitter now. But TFOAR told us yesterday. And in january when the terms were agreed but villa asked to keep him until summer

BIG NEWS TOMORROW

Ed plz rate out of 10 the chance of nando cumin back {Ed002's Note - After careful consideration, the Chelsea fan says 9, the realist says 0.}

19 May 2011 23:39:39
Ed any chance of nando cumin back and has young signed for us yet {Ed002's Note - I doubt it.}

Hi Eds,
Do you think Boswinga would beca worthy addition? Available on bosman. Would enable Kelly to switch to his natural central defender birth. Just a thought

Watched Steve Clarke's interview today and he states we only need around 3 players. however, on MOTD Mark Lawrenson said we'll need a new player in virtually every position besides centre midfield. i personally think Steve Clarke is right saying we don't need as many players as people think we need. what you think Ed?

Double B {Ed007's Note - Personally, I think Mark Lawrenson is an apse}

You meen he likes apse, biggest secret in Liverpool ever. .

19 May 2011 23:37:11
The announcement tomorrow is 100% nothing to do with signings it is a stadium proposal. Why would we make are transfer targets public knowledge it would only start a bidding war meaning we would pay more for a player than we need too. Also heard aqualani coming back and will not sign for juventus.

thanks eds for such a great site and all the work you do i was just wondering what happens to birminghams european place if they are relegated, is there a possibility liverpool will get it? {Ed002's Note - A good question, but the keep it.}

19 May 2011 23:35:41
Milan Jovanovic has played his last game for Liverpool after undergoing an operation to remove a cyst in his knee. The Serbian is recovering in Qatar and is wanted by French league leaders Lille.

He could be used as a makeweight in a potential deal for Eden Hazard.

Meanwhile, Fernando Torres wants Liverpool sports therapist Ivan Ortega to join Chelsea's medical team. Ortega is close friends with Torres.

Sorry Ed I posted a few minutes ago before the page was updated and my post isn't there . . . Do you mind posting it please ? Thanks mate , {Ed002's Note - Nproblem man - you're the best.}

19 May 2011 23:30:17
Were are all the A young rumours coming from. He has stated he will talk about his future after the campaign finishes also kk would not let any one know of any LFCs transfers wouldn't that be classed as tapping up a player. Your thoughts please eds. great site.

Double B {Ed007's Note - Personally, I think Mark Lawrenson is an apse}

Never a truer word spoken on this site Ed. {Ed002's Note - I have said truer worgs. You know Ed007 is a Huddersfield supporter?}

19 May 2011 23:27:58
We should go for premiership proven players?
tosh look how Robbie keane turned out for us, Joe cole? Konchesky? now lets look at out unproven players from abroad? Suarez, Alonso, Reina. these players if english would have cost triple the amount we paid. look at Manchester unt with hernadez and formally Ronaldo unproven but bloody amazing.

Let's just wait and see what the club will do in the summer.

19 May 2011 23:25:04
Love this site for all the alleged transfer rumours etc etc I hope I'm wrong but the big news tomorrow is the 18 people get told they have been selected to be part of the new supporters comitee , I can't see any transfer news breaking whilst the season has 1 game left cos I assume that would be classed as taping up, as I said I hope I'm wrong and we buy all these amazing players but until I see it I won't believe it

Ed after the Europa league final falcao had you'll never walk alone what do you think that means ???? {Ed002's Note - He didn't. It was a Liverpool's fans damp moment. With Jesus You Will Never Be Alone. It was about Navas making the move - secret messages.

19 May 2011 23:17:21
Hey Ed just read some of the rumours about Liverpool announcing something big tomorrow . . is this true are they really gonna announce something ? If so about what time do you think they will announce it ? thanks mate,
Paul. {Ed002's Note - I don't know, but don't lose sleep.}

19 May 2011 23:14:12
Ed, how reliable a source is The Fields of Anfield Road?
Nick {Ed002's Note - I refer to earlier answers - we don't know.}

19 May 2011 23:10:44
That is not Torres house he never lived there in fact Yobo was renting it. Torres lived next to Reina in a private close Suarez is there now

19 May 2011 23:05:18
Ed001 do you think the press conference with King kenny tomorrow at half 9 he will tell us about young, or do you think this is young stuff is just hype atm? {Ed002's Note - Don't lose sleep over it.}

19 May 2011 22:43:49
As always, quality site eds. Just wanted to say can we please put the Torres rumours to bed. There is no chance whatsoever Torres will be coming back to us in the summer. . especially for 25m???? If stories are true and Chelsea/Roman/whole team has had enough of him and want rid. . it would be a similar price to what we sold for, and there are teams out there who would still pay that, maybe not 50m, but at least 35-40m and we would not pay that to get him back.
Regarding transfers in, I would love to see Hulk and a quality left back, many names already been mentioned but with the youth coming up as they are, I don't believe we need much more, highly unlikely I know with Hulk signing new contract recently but we live in hope. What do you think on both Torres topic and Hulk Eds ( I know he won't but would be everything we have missed ).
Keep up the good work and sarcasm Eds.

WelshScouse {Ed002's Note - Hey man, I appreciate that it may be frustrating for folks to have the Torres rumours kicked out. They will die down when something else kicks in. The sarcasm as you no doubt realise is a side effect of frustration. We deal with it how we can.}

19 May 2011 20:30:57
i have just read down the page, and one of the editors said that the owners have promised a super, marquee signing. this is exciting for me to hear if this is true. do you or any of the other editors have any players in mind that it could be? keep up the good work {Ed002's Note - We know nothing of "super Marquee" signings. Obviously there is the "Spectacular Super Surprise Marquee Signing" we discussed earlier, but I guess you are thinking of someone else.

19 May 2011 20:24:48
Eds Why are you saying that Scott dann is getting closer to signing Do you know something we dont? Great site {Ed002's Note - I have little or no idea what you know.}

19 May 2011 19:33:01
hey ed,
any chance we are interested in esteban granero
and pedro leon of real madrid. .? {Ed002's Note - Oddly enough, maybe Granero.

{Ed002's Note - Hey man. You are right - screw them all. The best way to get noticed is to post your videos on YouTube, but not from the sidelines. That is the mistake most folk make. Strap a camera to each knee. It mist point downwards. Then mail you video to us, and we will take look.}

Can people chill out on aguero I'm one of his biggest fans and there would probably be no red with a bigger smile on their face than me if he signed, we are interested fact but it won't happen, the reason price and wages, most people are sick of hearing his name on this site now same questions same answer. Have a nice holiday ed, how long we not going to have your info for, hopefully when you get back you can tell me mata is signing ha .

KopEndDannyLFC {Ed007's Note - Ed001 is away for a few days, the rest of us will do our best to keep the site moving along, but please understand we don't all have his know how of all things LFC. If your post isn't put up, please be patient and one of the other Eds will deal with it ASAP,thanks guys}

this irish lad o'hanlon is top quality lads, has bags of potential and will one day play premiership football. st.kevins is a massive club side in ireland and players literally come from all sides of the country to play for them. i have seen this lad play many times with st.kevins and he can play great football and always a threat running with the ball and attacking and isn't afraid to stick a foot in the academy will do him good and if kenny travelled to see his family that shows how much liverpool want him thus how good a player he can become. but don't be foolish give him time.4-5 years minimum any way lads to see if he is worth it jamesred

19 May 2011 22:39:02
Torres returning really? Come on people surely your better than this, the Chelsea fans must be laughing there backs off. He's left get over it, more's the point why would we want or need him back.
I also see the Aguero rumour's are back, every bloody transfer window and he's coming, guess what it's just not on the cards.

i know this is a rumour/banter site ed's those two coming are taking it abit far.

Anyway looks like we have beaten the manc's to the signature of a promising youngster, i wonder how the media will spin the fact someone chose Liverpool over Man U.

always a red

tTHERE ARE GOOD TRICS TO HIGH PRICE. SOME TIME FEW CLUB KEEP SAYING OK WE HAVE A BIG OFFER FOR OUR PLAYER BUT THAT PLAYER NOT FOR SALE. MAY BE JUST TRY TO BE IN HEADLNE. HEAR LOTS ABOUT SANCHEZ, PASTORE. NOW MATA , AGUERO. JUST TOO MUCH RUMERS OF SUPERSTAR. ED CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME IS THERE ANY NEWS LIVERPOOL LIKE TO BRING OSVALDO OF Espanyol. OR DAMBA BA OF Hoffenheim. NOT SUPERSTAR BUT VERY MUCH GOOD PLAYER. {Ed001's Note - we've looked at Osvaldo, not Ba though, why would we? He is hardly the kind of character you want to build a team with. He went on strike to get a move!}

19 May 2011 22:13:02
Fellow Ed's & posters am I missing something with mata? Watched alot of Spanish footie n gotta say he hadn't sprung 2 my attention.

Jimbob {Ed001's Note - I think he has a lot of quality myself, he can cross the ball, which is something that seems to be extremely rare these days.}

19 May 2011 22:33:45
i drove past torres' house today and the for sale sign is still up, can we put an end to all these silly rumours about a return to the club now? wouldn't want him back anyway, he shown the hight of disrespect towards the club and its not so long ago when all fans hated him with passion.

mr lfc lover

I thought Suarez was living in Torres' old house?

19 May 2011 22:33:34
I don't expect we will sign a central midfield player. It seems strange that we are being linked with them, next season we will have Meireles, Lucas, Spearing, Gerrard and possibly suso also. Why would we buy another?

Yesterday i posted in regard to several possible signings. The position of Juan Manuel Mata has since changed. There was contact between Damien Comolli and the players agent who told him Mata was not not interested in a team without Champions League football according to my source. I'm sorry to bring a bit of realism to you guys but i think this will be the case with many good players from the bigger European leagues (Spain, Italy, Germany and France). I am only guessing and have no information on this but i expect the response from hazard to be the same.

My source says that he is simply looking for another club, a big club that is (e.g. a top 6 club) and is interested in moving to surprisingly, AC Milan.

His first priority is first team football and sees Liverpool as an ideal place for that. He also sees that we are in a good financial position and are looking to build for the future.

Cheers ed :)

maka

I meant "as well as being interested in a move to AC" but would his preference would be a top 6 club in england (excluding Arsenal and Spurs)

Hi eds I was at the Europa league final last night and although Liverpool are being linked with rolando who played very well if we can't get him maybe we should look at signing the braga centre back paulao who outstanding against Liverpool, benfica and Porto.Hes 29 but I think well worth a look

Does anyone know much about Alex O'Hanlon. Has anyone seen him play. Ross {Ed002's Note - Further down there is some commentary Ross.}"

could you please post this in rumours ED so Ross can see the reply?

I'm friendly with the boy's uncle who was part of the team representing him when he went for a medical and signed the contract at Melwood on Monday morning. The boy was being chased by basically every big club in England and also by Real Madrid, where he spent a week training in January or February I think it was. Barcelona had tried to get him to visit them but he refused as apparently his time in Madrid put him off moving to a continental country. Saying that though, I don't know how good he is as I've never seen him play.
[ps: I was the first person to post this, check the banter page on Tuesday or Wednesday. He did not sign for LFC today as others have said, but on Monday morning after being a guest at the Spurs game.]

Hi Ed and fellow LFC fan's I'm originally from Blanchardstown in Dublin but living in Co.Meath now, What the above poster is saying is true Alex was wanted by a host of massive clubs around Europe and big things are expected from him, Alex is a Utd fan but my bro-in-law's Da told me that he was really impressed by KK.I think KK could convince most of his targets to sign if he get's a chance to talk face to face with them.(bar the greedy players)

Ashley Young
Scot Parker
Mata

All to be confirmed tomorrow.

Macca you have been quiet for a number of days any updates on the Young transfer or other gossip. It looks as though Liverpool will only be bringing in a couple of players

The Biggest Signing This Summer Is Wesley Sneijder From Inter Milan with Alberto Aquliani going the other way. This will leave the door open for Joe Cole to leave the club so that Wesley Sneijder can wear the number 10 shirt. This is 100% true.

If it is true that Michael Owen is returning I hope that it is on a pay-as-you-play deal. . and that he never plays.

Alternatively, that the deal is that he pays us to get a game. .

I know it's a bit premature, but I am glad to see this season come to an end. At times, being a Liverpool fan seemed like a full-time job with next to no benefits attached to it. Some of the perfomances haunted me for days and perhaps affected my mood in a negative way. But the story has a happy ending, and in the end I have to say that it was worth it to have been put through the emotional grinder once or twice. For the first time in a while, we can look forward to a summer of change and perhaps the possibility of slowly regaining that which has eluded us for such a long time. The optimism most of us share came at a hefty price, but we definitely acquited ourselves of that debt. So, thank you Liverpool FC for everything that was this season and for all that is to come in the next.

Allow me now to share my lows and highs of the season.

Lows: - the endless speculations of potential new
owner groups which frustrated us to no end

- the injunction of H&G which tortured us for
24 hours
- the treason of Mascherano who refused to
suit up when the club and his mates
needed him, the same guy had been bailed
out more than once by the 10 men he
famously deserted against Man United
- Roy's tactics
- Torres' timing

Highs: - the sale of the club which brought no
profit to H&G
- the arrival of Meireles and its secrecy
- the return of The King
- The win at Chelsea (petty, I know)

- Luis Suarez
- number 19 for United (we have something
to aim at now)
- the youngsters

Enjoy your off-season

Hi ed what do you think are the chances of us getting Eden Hazard {Ed002's Note - There was a significant shift in his chance yesterday when it moved from 0/10 to 1/10.}

i think considering the fact we have been told to hold the bid the chances are as low as 1/10 i think its 4/10

19 May 2011 20:24:51
Utd have not got a bean to there name, city can't keep buying at that rate or there top player will be on about 1/2 mil a week. . don't think Liverpool will be feeding of scraps. i personally don't think Reina, Gerrard , Carra etc are getting excited about the summer for scraps so just one word to your post from me COUPON.

Hey Eds pls post this

I read this site twice a day and I can't believe some people's coming on here and talk Sh**.

Now If you listen to KK talk it gives you a big clue "we are not singing players for 1 year we're signing them for 4/5". Now when we start talks with player's i.e. Mata, Hazard we'll let them know what our 5 year plans are. So please stop with all this we're not in the champ league we can't get top players like these two above. YNWA

Liverpool have already wrapped up their first signing of the summer.

Alex O'Hanlon has already been likened to Tottenham's Gareth Bale and joins the Reds from St Kevins Boys Club in Dublin, turning down the advances of Manchester United and Arsenal, having spent time with both Real Madrid and Chelsea.

St Kevins is famed for producing some of Ireland's most famous footballing exports including Liam Brady, Damien Duff and Ian Harte to name but three, and left-back O'Hanlon has already been tipped for great things by club secretary Brendan Bermingham.

He said: He is very highly thought of. He s an excellent full-back and hopefully he might turn out like Gareth Bale.

He s got a really good attitude, quiet and unassuming.

He s just football, football, football.

The 15-year-old's capture was secured following a meeting with Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish and is a key signal of Fenway Sports Group's intentions to lure the best young players to Anfield.

Suggestions that the deal cost Liverpool £2million have been refuted by the Irish club.

hi ed just a quick comment not rumour. a guy on here mentioned a table ov most related rumoured players with a 1 t 10 chance of it coming of just t stop with the pests repeating the same questions asked. is this a possibility red ted {Ed001's Note - yes it is, we just have to find the time to input all the details into a database.}

19 May 2011 19:11:09
Taking what their relative costs would be into account, Ed, would you prefer us to sign Cahill, Dann, Vertonghen or Sakho (or another CB option I haven't listed here)? {Ed001's Note - Sakho or Musacchio myself.}

19 May 2011 19:00:03
hi ed you are doing a wonderful job

steve clark says we only need 2-3 players

so people thinking were are getting loads are wrong

i think the 3 players we will go for are

young johnson alonso

what do you think {Ed001's Note - I don't think Alonso is in the mix at all, as we have already tried to get Mata and Sissoko I would think they are amongst the possibilities.}

football the game of back handers, corruption and bungs

Now the English are as just a sleazy and corrupt as the rest of Europe. So why havnt any english people gotten top jobs in FiFa. English football is the biggest league in the world. Ect we are very under representative in Europe.

So who is staying and who is going? Does anyone know the departures from anfield. Im hoping Gerrard Walks

19 May 2011 19:41:22
re:mata
if all the rumoured clubs have bids accepted for him he has a dilemma.

city:more money champions league but not guaranteed a start every game
chelsea:same as city but have torres so fellow spanish player.
barcelona:would he start every game
utd:same as above champions league good wages challenge for titles.but would he start with nani/valencia and giggs
liverpool:possibly no europe get the same wage but club is on a rise will start every game fellow spanish speakers i.e maxi suarez reina settle in better.

so i reckon we have as much chance as any but if barcelona came in im sure he would pick them.unless hes into money so chelsea or city.

I'm not being funny but obviously these torres return rumours are far from believable but even on the off chance we would be looking at this possibility. . WHYY? has everyone skipped over the fact that most of the other players we are linked with are actually better than him at this moment in time? not only is it unbelievable but it would be a stupid bit of business anyway, he is finished.

19 May 2011 19:14:43
Right i think this needs to be said and yes it will up set some people on here.

Torres is world class, he has proved that over years and people need to get off his back as he scored a lot of goals for Liverpool and i think alot is owed to him as he round our front line near single handedly for his whole period at the club and he deserves some acknowledgment for that alone. I would take the man back to our club in a heart beat, yes he left us but he is right in what he saw.

Chelsea have for a good few years now been up and challanging on all fronts and Torres is a winner and he wants to win things and if everyone is honest here Liverpool havent won anything since 2005. We can not live on winning the champs lge in 2005 which now is 6 years this month. Players go to big teams to win silverware, not live in hope that they will at Liverpool. I agree since the arrival of Kenny things appear brighter, but not only that it was the invovlment with NESV who appear at this time to have the best interests of the club at heart rather than them old pair of Dick and Dom.

Yes i was heart broken to think Torres could leave us but i am a realist and i could see his reasons and remember this man has a World cup winners medal to show in his cabinet, i think he is well within his rights to want a premiership one also and champs lge one which at present we hav not been able to offer either to him. So please get off his case and stop with the soar grapes, the man has left and now we have to get on without him. We have our history and now we should be trying to aim to make more of it not slag other teams and players off for having ambition.

Barry

PS to the eds, glad to see you have some sarcasim and it appears wasted on some on here, keep up the good work and i can only imagine you are all bald from pulling your hair our with same questions every 30 mins.

Ed, why are Liverpool trying desperately to sign a central midfield player, I mean I think with miereles, and gerrard starting backed up by lucas and spearing we have plenty of depth in that position.
Any how, if we do sign a centre mid do you expect it to be Adam, I believe un like many that he is a fantastic player and would suit us perfectly.
And finally ed, if we do sign another centre mid what kind of formation do you expect us to play ?
Thanks a lot for your time ed, much appreciated {Ed002's Note - I don't think anything is desparate right now. Adam still seems to be an option - formations I won't touch on.}

Sissoko long term gerrard replacement? Lucas is more talented and younger than meireles

Hi ed what do you think are the chances of us getting Eden Hazard {Ed002's Note - There was a significant shift in his chance yesterday when it moved from 0/10 to 1/10.}

Thats enough for me matey

19 May 2011 18:55:42
Hopefully whoever we are looking to sign, we can do a deal early so they all have a full pre season together, vital for next season if we make a good start if we are at top after 5 games the momentum will carry us forward. My choice would be ashley young, lahm, sturridge and nasri.

19 May 2011 18:53:26
I see jermain defoe is not happy at spurs, why don't we go for him. still a good player, gets loads of goals {Ed001's Note - he has been playing for how many years in the Prem and still has only just reached 100 goals.}

19 May 2011 18:40:16
hey ed, seen a few posts about shane long earlier, i for one would love to see him in a liverpool shirt, im irish so im probably a bit biased but i think it is a joke how robbie keane starts ahead of him for ireland although he used to be a good player
Ive seen Long play a lot the last few years and he is very good in the air for a small enough man, he has good pace and he is well able to score
I think he would be a very good back up striker and who knows, under daglish and with better players he could prove to be a bargain

19 May 2011 18:39:01

Really hoping for Aguero, M'vila, sakho, mata.

. .I know this would not happen, but, if it did I think I'd sigh inside - the lad's got a poor attitude and has basically played himself out of form at Liverpool and he can't get out of it. 1 goal in 19 games for Chelsea is poor for any striker - No thanks. .

19 May 2011 18:20:06
Does anyone else think that Carroll seems to upset our rhythm and style of play. We seemed so much better with Meireles in the side (I know he's injured) and Kuyt alongside Suarez.
I can't see Carroll staying with us that long. (Just my opinion). They'll have to give him a chance cause of what we've paid but I don't see him fitting in, plus he's Newcastle through and through so if it's not working out loyalty won't be an issue.
Maybe a coulple of decent wide men may change my opinion as that is obviously what he needs to be most effective. Has anyone not thought of a certain somebody a bit closer to home for that job, Mr Gerrard? We seem really settled in midfield now so he also might upset things in that area now. He could do a better job on the right or left than most 15 - 25m players we are being linked with. He's getting on a bit now so maybe it's time for a different role to prolong his career.

I am just curious how do the Eds keep their sanity, or do they?
I visit this site way too often on a daily basis and see the same questions; it frustrates me and not sure how you guys/gals handle it. The best thing is when the Eds are asked to rate the chances of players coming in and it's always the SAME players. The Eds maybe clairvoyant but I doubt it.

So, would you rate the following:
Shutting down the site
Killing the next person asking about Kun Aguero/Mata/Hazard
Killing the next person asking to rate players

19 May 2011 18:16:46

How many players do u think we will sign n who do u think is most likely to b playin for us nxt year. .thank u. .keep up gud work :) scuba, antrim {Ed002's Note - I really can't get involved in any speculation about players coming in - it bring too much grief. You need to read through the posts.}

The spending will depending on Europa League Qualification
There will be 18 Europa League games
This might be too much for us if we want to finish the top four
If Qualify we need to spend at less 9 quality players

ie:
Gary Cahill
Gael Clichy
Scot Parker
Adel Taarabt
Ashley Young
Eden Hazard
Marko Marin
Ibrahim Afellay
Mario Gomez

19 May 2011 18:01:09
Hey Ed's,
Scouting report from Europa League Final last nite,
Hulk - create work on and off the ball outstanding, tends to play act a bit much though.
Falcao - topclass finish oozes quality
Paulo(Braga No.3) - Best player on the park by far any interest in him? solid.One to watch IMHO.
Rolando - no thanks he was all over the shop.
Met Brian McDermott the Reading manager there he was a nice guy asked about Long he just laughed and said it would cost a lot of money.Rules Everton out then? Any update on Matuidi or a LB?
Fowler is God
{Ed002's Note - There are no updates today at all.}

RE: Defensive mid.

Ed002 i posted earlier about us signing a DM but im on a phone and can't copy and paste. You said that a centre mid might leave as well as Poulsen to make way for a DM but Spearing and Lucas have signed new contracts and i read an interview with Shelvey that said Dalglish told him he is in his plans and that he has a future here. Gerrard is Gerrard and won't be leaving. That just leaves Meireles. Think about it, he has been the one to play out of position in every game under Kenny to make way for Spearing and its not like he is good out wide. I have not been impressed with him this year, he loses the ball more often than not and sh*ts out of 50/50 challenges. If you take away his six touhes that went in he hasnt done anything this season, ill admit he has a nice shot but is that enough? What do you think Ed? Might he be the one to make way if we sign someone else? I just don't think Dalglish rates him very highly. You never know, after all the undeserved hype surrounding him we might get a good price for him. {Ed002's Note - In the same respect we know the club was looking at Adam and needs a long-term replacement for Gerrard.}

19 May 2011 17:59:10
Ed, having trawled through all the b.s. that appears on this forum, was wondering which players you think are most likely to make the move 2 Liverpool fc (Bar Marveux). . Cheers {Ed002's Note - It is impossible to calculate the most likely and enough folks have told us who signed: Benzema in January; Mata on Monday; Hazard yesterday; Torres today. You will no doubt appreciate my position.}

19 May 2011 17:57:10
i cannot believe some people are actually saying let us try and get back torres.
NO f*** the t**t he said he wanted out to a 'bigger club' he shocked the whole club with 3 days left saying he wanted a move out forcing them to pay crazy money for carroll.
i don't mind carroll im glad hes at anfield now but the money spent was all because of torres.
let him rot at chelsea the scum.
for the past 18 months hes been s**t and his trademark has been bitching.
he can stay at his 'big club' and rot and bitch there.

I know Roy Evens well, he told me 2 weeks after Dalglish started that he was amazed with how quiet the dressing room was with the amount of foreign accents etc. Remeber his last dressing room in 91 had 90% British players.
His task was/is to get this back as this is the winning way needed in the prem. He has already addressed this with Kelly, Flano, Robinson, Carroll , 3 scousers and a Georde! but he is keen for more

Adam: Scottish
Young: English

ed whats the deal with hazard, how much was the bid placed for him and are we likely to get him {Ed002's Note - There is no deal. There was no bid. Chances are slim but not impossible.}

there has been a bid for hazard in the region of 20m. its only suggested that it might have been liverpool, but who knows

Cant wait for the football to be over so we can get on to the serious business of transfers. Fed up with the distractions of matches!

19 May 2011 17:29:50
I always worry about players who only start to play when their contracts is starting to run out (maxi). I would sell him and focus on Gettin quality younger players such as Hazard, young, Mata. I would break the bank for players like mata and Vargas who looks like an awesome LB/LM.

Players I reckon will sign for us are:
marveux (free)
dann (10m)
mata(25m+)
nzogbia (10m)

19 May 2011 17:01:43
Eds - Do you have any idea how much Liverpool will have to spend in this window? Disregarding additional money made from selling players. {Ed002's Note - The money to be made available by the owners will largely come in the first instance from money generated by the club, which needs to be self-sufficient as we all know. What I imagine Tom Werner was referring to was that monies generated by the club (such as through the sale of a player) could be used for transfers (obviously if agreed on a case-by-case basis as I have already explained). I think if you are expecting NESV to throw enormous sums of their own money in to transfers, you will have a bit of a long wait until that happens. I do however have no doubts that they will provided financing themselves as necessary - but will not want to pay over the odds.}

19 May 2011 16:59:42
All the people posting about Torres need to take their head for a wobble. The guy was loved and respected by all even when he was way out of form, at Chelsea they give him stick for it. He left Liverpool Fc for a 'bigger' club as he put it, only to retract his statement once he realised what an idiot he was, him and Mascherano don't deserve to be near a red shirt so drop the rumors it won't happen for far to many reasons, give the ed's a break from it.

Another thing i'm worried about is the huge number of wingers were linked with, hope we get the right ones in

JP

19 May 2011 16:49:47
I reckon the chance of Nando returning back to Anfield are smaller than the chance of us landing Ronaldo and Messi BUT i would be happy to see the lad back in a Liverpool Shirt! we all make mistakes and think the grass is greener on the other side and are often wrong! ! if we got him back it would be nowhere near the £50M we sold him for and he would have alot to prove and make up for and i reckon we'd see the look in his eye he had when he first came. . . now most people will be disagreeing with this comment but just think for a moment before you type. . . suarez and torres up top with Carroll in as a replacement or a game changer when things arent going our way. . . the movement and pace of suarez that we've seen since he came can only get better next season and we see him time after time picking that ball up just inside the opposition half and getting into the box without anyone getting near him. . . with the back up of torres arriving with him in the box would be a deadly attacking force. . . without any doubt the best strike force in england if not Europe (poss behind barca, remind myself not to get to carried away). The lad made a mistake but no1 can disagree how good the strikeforce would be with Nando in the ranks! !

19 May 2011 16:35:42
I believe that we should two or three players (two wingers are a must) and then promote players for the youth teams as they seem to be as good as some of the prem player that have been playing for many years. players like Kelly, Flanagan, Kelly Shelvey and Spearing.

And with other players like Conor Coady, Suso Andre Wisdom, John Flanagan, Toni Silva, Michael Ngoo and Raheem Sterling coming through looking so exciting so is there a real need for us to buy so many players and spend millions on them surely we should look to the future and do what teams like Man Utd (in the 90's with the likes of ryan giggs, gary neville, paul scholes and david beckham.) arsenal and barc (all i have to say there is Messi and treble winning season) have done. Instead of doing what the likes of Chelsea Man City and Real Madrid spending millions to try and buy success i knows it helps but the kids that do come through know what the team meas to the fans and how much we want to be top once again
RED-JUDO

Ed I don't know if it's just me but it sounds like you don't want us to sign world class talent like hazard or mata or aguero (even though aguero is near impossible) more reliable sources than you have said were interested and you say there is no chance of signing them. Have a bit of optimism mate

{Ed002's Note - I am sure it is not you, but it is nothing to do with whether or not I want someone to sign for any particular club, I am simply giving you my "informed" opinion when asked. Using Aguero as an example, you say "more reliable sources" than me have said Liverpool are linked. Would you like me to kowtow to these "more reliable sources"? Would that make you feel better? If so, I would be grateful if you could please send me a list of these "more reliable sources" and an explanation about your determination that they are "more reliable sources". You also might wish to migrate away from this site to that of your "more reliable sources". If you do, tell Big Dunk we all say "Hi!".

If you would prefer I lied when asked about Sanchez and Neymar and the like joining Liverpool, all you need to do is say. You could perhaps phrase your questions accordingly, something like "Please lie to me and tell me Neymar is moving to Anfield?"}

Hello Eds, its pretty obvious that we're looking for a decent experienced(ish) left-back, but do you know anything about Insua coming back? I know he was pretty shocking last season but he was kinda thrown in at the deep end and wasnt very experienced. I hear he hasnt been geting on so well at Galatasary. You got any idea if were gonna keep him as back up or do you think we will sell him? Probably fit better into the team now than he did then.

have you ever seen his latest performances in the bundesliga?
I really don't understand why there is such a hype on the site about the guy?
i.m.h.o. he is completely overrated and I really doubt that he would adapt to the EPL.

I hope KK will bring in at least one quality winger and a experienced back-up striker.
would be also nice if he pushes our youngsters next season. future could be bright if they get the chance and the playing time. .

19 May 2011 14:48:27
liverpool should buy some of these

juan mata
ashley young
stewart downing
phil jones
benga
m'vila
alosno
bojan
erkison
cissko
tawio
coerento
felipe
godin
henderson
hazard
lassan diarra

should not buy c.adams he is nothing compared to a.aqualin

am hearing from my sources at villa that ashley young has a choice between us and utd with gary mac and houllier keen for him to join us. i also hear there will be a surprise signing who has not been mentioned often on this site?

I am quite astonished by some of the rumours on this site. I read it daily of course, but I am shocked that so many people think we will buy almot a new team. We will most likely buy one of Mata, Hazard, Young in addition to the free signing of Marveux. And one central mid which might be Adam, but nothing is certain. Expect a left back signing as well and a younger center back to pick up Carra's job when he retires.(ie Phil Jones). I've read that the players most likely to leave are of course Aquaman, Jovanovic if someone shows interest, N'gog and a couple of youngsters. Pacheco's future is uncertain but Shelvey has already recieved the news that he is in King Kenny's plans.

i believe that we owe a lot thanks to three men McParland returned to the club as Director of LFC s Academy after a spell at Bolton as general manager and would oversee the revolution. Pep Segura became Academy Technical Manager and Rodolfo Borrell was put in charge of coaching the U18 s. Both Segura and Borrell arrived at LFC with impressive CV s which saw them both oversee Barcelona s golden generation with players such as Pique, Iniesta, Fabregas & Messi coming through their world famous La Masia institution.
Rodolfo Borrell believes in the pass and move philosophy which has always been the moto at this football club so by our youngsters being taught this at an early age this can only benefit the club in the long run.
The academy is currently filled with talented player with over 20 individuals all receiving international call ups at youth level. A few years ago there was as little as 3 players in our youth set up receiving international recognition.
Players such as Conor Coady, Jack Robinson, Suso and Raheem Sterling have been grabbing all the headlines with their individual displays but you can add the likes of Andre Wisdom, John Flanagan, Toni Silva and Michael Ngoo to the list of potential future LFC stars. It is important that we don t over hype these players and label them the next Steven Gerrard and put unnecessary pressure on them. Credit must be give to Frank McParland & Rodolfo Borell who have moderated the hype around the current squad but when players are scoring 5 goals in a game and travelling with the first team squad it could be an impossible task of curbing the fans enthusiasm about having our very own golden generation.

Definitely keen on coutinho, n'zogbia, jarvis, wickham, scotty parker and phil jones! ! Get rid of poulsen, soto kyriagkos, ngog, jovanovic! ! just an idea maybe jay bothroyd as a back up apparently his contract is up and the lad got an england cap. . off course we would like the likes of gareth bale etc but we gotta be realistic and with the king in charge he can get the best out of any player!

hey ed i was just wondering what u think about the striker situation, id love to get someone like hernandez of united, i think we should be scouting the brazilian and south american leagues looking at strikers!
We should be looking at strikers who are young with pace, power and be able to take there goals. . i hope we buy a striker not well known, who is hungry to make a name for themselves and would be willing to spend some time on the bench and try to make an impact when they come on. .someone like dentinho of corinthians!What do u think ed?

{Ed002's Note - Dentinho is very well known and pretty much certain to be joining Shakhtar. I am sure Damien Comolli and his team are looking at lots of young men.}

personally i think out of all the players mentioned everyday here, 2 wingers would have to be the main targets, obviously a backup striker and a LB will be looked at but wingers must be a priority, if we got any of the wingers mentioned here (except young) don't think he's what the kop want, or need, we'd be challenging for the title next year. kenny is goin to make stars out of the youngsters and sooner rather than later! and on another note, liverpool fc don't need the likes of diego in a red shirt, its clubs like man s**tty and chelski that don't require loyalty, king kenny most definitly does! Ed i was just wondering do you no any teams who are interested in our players? Thanks. I imagine there is still interest in Reina from certain parties.}

Ed002 with duff info again. I have it on good authority that Barcelona are going to raid our club like they did to Arsenal with Petit and Overmars. Konchesky and Poulsen are on their way to the Nou Camp in a straight swap for Busquets and Abidal, plus an extra £10 million to sweeten the deal. Common knowledge round these parts ever since Poulsen was spotted in Claire's Accessories buying a maroon headband.

I really don't think we need much this summer. We arent going to be spending £200million

Goalkeepers sorted

Defence is very nearly sorted with Glen, Robbo, Flanno, Carra, Skrtel, Agger, Kelly. I think Aurelio will stay. Maybe one left back - would love Baines.
Why do we need another centre back?

Midfield is strong centrally weaker on the wings.
2 or 3 from Gerrard, Lucas, Spearing, Shelvey, Merieles will play every game in the centre depending on the opposition. Charlie Adam may come to supplement us further.
On the wings at the moment the only players we have are Kuyt, Maxi and Cole - all of whom will stay. Kuyt will return to his rightful place as striker. So we need wingers. I desperately hope for Ashley Young and Adam Johnson. Perhaps one more.

Finally upfront Carroll, Suarez and Kuyt will be rotated for one or two places depending on the opposition. I don't see why we need another striker but understand a fourth for depth would be handy.

So squad for me is players above plus Baines left back, Adam midfield, A Johnson and Young on the wings.

Leaving will be Poulson, Ngog, Konchesky, Kyrgiakos.

We are fortunate too to have lots of good players coming through from the academy.

I'm sure you've all seen that Pepe Reina has come out saying how a chat with Damien Commoli has convinced him to stay for the long-term. .

He now says he fully believes in the 'project' headed by FSG etc.

He goes on to say that summer transfer targets were discussed in depth and the gist of it all was that big investment in the summer was coming

Seeming as previous top players at the club left because of a lack of investment in world class players (Torres, Alonso, Mascherano. ), surely this suggests these 'promises' about high summer investment will bear fruit since Pepe's convinced?

Anyone else excited for the summer transfer window?! To me, it seems as if we've lined up one or two world class marquee signings by the sounds of things. .your thoughts?

Mr Editor's about Fabio Aurelio. Does anyone know if his resigning last summer was a long or short-term deal?
(I had heard it was pay as you play, which means he'll need us to have a whip-round for him.) It does appear to be a 'cursed' position for the team. It's a long time since we had a solid, reliable, defensive, left-back.

{Ed002's Note - The contract runs through June 30, 2012 but I have no idea about the provisions. Given his age, I suspect he will leave this summer if someone else cones in.}

I heard on a radio show last night that Chelsea will be spending somewhere near 200million over the Summer & both Manchester's somewhere near the same. We will have to settle for the scraps after they are finished feeding.

Well as i told you last month i highley doubt reina will be going after he had been assured of the recruitment in the summer.

There is no set fee but please don't expect man city money.
there may be a good 80 million spent. but this is around 40-45 million transfer kitty made available. and the rest sales.

i don't know of the targets but the contracts will include a non champions league qualification minimum release clause similar to reinas.

Also look out for the man giving the united the trophy the weekend a true Army hero Ricky furgusson.

what do the Eds thinka about predominanatly right footed players on the left wing because we are linked with those type of players. Will it give us the width that a natural lefty would give us? I don't think so but who am I to say. Thanx {Ed002's Note - It has worked well for many clubs and Chelsea used to use players interchangeably on the wings very successfully. The game does not have such a rigorous line up nowadays and players need to have that flexibility. So I don't see a problem.}

I think we will be very astute in this window. All deals will be very secretive there are too many idiot teams like the Spuds trying to steal potential signings.

Please no more Aguero rumours, it must drive the poor Ed's crazzzzy, reading them every other post.

I think we should also look to having Stevie G playing on the right in order to let Raul and Lucas run the middle. Gerrard had his best ever season employed mainly on the right, I know he doesn't like it but the team is bigger. What do you think eds?

{Ed002's Note - Nobody is trying to steal Liverpool's signings. I am not so sure that Liverpool will play Gerrard on the right all the time.}

19 May 2011 10:09:42
Liverpool intrested in Wingers or Right/Left Strike . . so maybe Neymar, Hazard, Cavani, Ben Arfa, Parker, Cardozo, Arshavin ? {Ed002's Note - Looks like you absolutely nailed the list.}

Scott Dann/ Phil Jones/ Gary Cahill
Jose Enrique/ Aly Cissoko
Blasui Matudi/ Charlie Adam
Charles Nzogbia/ Ashley Young
Sylvan Marvuex
Adel Taarabt
Conor Wickham/ Shane Long/ Ricky VanWolfswinkel

A mixture of these players will sign and for the last 3 one will be signed as a back up striker and personally i can't see us spending 10mil on Wickam or Shane long sitting on bench Wolfswinkel would seem more likely.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

No chance. I can see Chelsea spending a fair bit over the Summer - there's a good chance that a few will be leaving and they'll be looking to push up an extra level. I guess it all depends on who the manager will be. I can't see them spending 200M, though.

Man U don't need to spend anywhere near that much. I can see them paying big money on someone like Sneijder, but I don't think they really need to strengthen an awful lot.

Man City have already said that this Summer will not be anything like the previous two. They are looking to strengthen in a couple of areas - they've already said that they have a very good and large squad, so they'll only add a couple (and maybe sell a few players). Mind you, if the rumours are true about Xavi and Ronaldo, that could come close to 200M - but, very unlikely that they'll get those two.

I don't honestly think that we'll compete with these teams in the transfer market an awful lot, anyway. They can all offer Champions League and I doubt we'll waste time chasing the same players.

Maybe I'm a moran but what about Cameron Jerome as cover up front for Big Andy. Great pace, strength, and bags of potential in my opinion once he figures out how to score. Remember that the knock on Torres was his inability to finish when at Atletico. Probably wouldn't cost much. Hit me with your best shots.

yeah your right you are a moran, i think we shud really enquire about hulk from porto and play a front 3 when going foward with suarez an hulk covering the wings whrn defending like chelsea do, any thoughts ed?? {Ed002's Note - None. Hulk is aked about a lot, nothing will change.}
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Actually Cameron jerome is not the worst idea I've heard on this site. As a 4th striker behind kuyt. I think he is different to the others and would be happy to play a bit part at a club like Liverpool. Your thoughts Edds and fellow reds please.

{Ed002's Note - I have no thoughts about this at all I am afraid. Just seems like a random name thrown in to the pot. Would he want to be fourth choice at Liverpool or playing every week with Birmingham - and in teh Europa League?}

Hi not aregular poster but a massive fan. .Love the site ed's & wish you further success, best wishes & congrats on it (not in a position to make a donation yet, but I would if I could).

First I don't have a rumour but want to know the ed's thaughts (whichever one) regarding the following. Players I think we should look at, mid twenties with loads of experience on the highest level:

Daniel de Rossi - strong creative and direct - a good mesh of both Mach. & Alonso & we have a relationship with Roma. Would be ideal & a leader too. I'm the in the bracket who would actually say get Joey Barton, was class at City & his temper withstanding he can add so much too the squad, namely passion, which is what you get from Scouse borne (i.e. Spearing, Flannery, etc.).Cambiasso is also a good mid. but Benega is prob. a more refined player wityh bags of potential.

Lukas Podolski - Either on strike or wing, adds skill, pace & power. Would be a good addition. Now we can add Queresma & Krancjar, class & skill, can be world class if given a oppertunity again.

Turan - Don't need to stress the need for quality players who are also fans. .so add Baines too.

Barazagli - I forget his name, but a quality defender & young, didn't get much lookin over the likes of Cannavaro, Nesta & Chiellini, but will brake throught eventually. Kjaer will also be a welcome addition, & give Mertesacker a look in, an international who rarely if ever gets carded, & his timing on the tackle is amazing. Maxwell ( of Barca) - at Ajax he was rated & was used for free kicks ala Riise, decent defencively, but with Adriano there used sparingly.

Off radar I'd like serious mention of Valencia's Mathieu, LB, who can play midfield as well, under rated but an excellent prospect. .

There are always players not being looked at or seriosly considered but are class or give you different options, like AC Milans Boateng, Santon, teh list is endless.

So that's my rant, feel free to crit. or tear me a new one, but I stand with what i say next, it's the spectactular players that may get the headlines, but it's the grunters & workers who make the team work ( Keane, Redknapp, Ince, Makalele. Giggs, Hierro, etc.)

{Ed002's Note - There are way too many names to give thought to here I am afraid. But I am sure some of the posters will have an opinion. I rather doubt as many Italians will be arriving over the summer as mentioned.}

I just can't understand those who would like us to sign HULK in the summer - the guy is far too inconsistent for Liverpool and too often floats in and out of games on the peripherals.
The club need a player more in the mould of GERRARD, someone who can dictate play and provide a catalyst for attacking moves. Someone like TEVEZ / FABREGAS (both unrealistic I know!) I m just saying that people need to be careful what they wish for!

What was he expecting? Prince William to meet him with a fanfare and parade? We are Liverpool Football club the most successfull english club in europe, we don't need to impress people. .they need to impress us.

Eden Hazard is far more likely to come to liverpool than arsenal due to the folowing:

1. He wants to move to a big club, Liverpool are a far bigger club than arsenal can ever be, and before any gunners fans leap down my throat. .how many trophies you won in last 6 years? exactly.

2. the most money wenger has ever spent is 16.5 on arshavin and he didn't part with that money easily, Hazard is out of Wengers price range, with him in charge they will never spend 20m on one player.

3. He is noted as saying that he won't move somewhere where he will not get first team football regularly, this is more likely at liverpool.

4. Wenger has a very rigid wage structure and given Hazards age we would likely offer more money than wenger.

I'm not saying we will make big money signings this year or any other, but all those saying we will definitely not be spending 40m on one player and to those who say we have a 50m transfer funds. Youre both wrong, the owners have stated many times that transfers will be assessed individually and one transfer will not affect another.

This to me means if it costs 50m to get their target (be it one player or not) they will spend 50m if he ticks their criteria. There is no transfer fund, the owners very wisely avoided saying this as any team knowing how much you have to spend knows exactly how much to extort from you.

Anyone is a possibility (financially) if he fits the criteria.

Lads, we don't need more than two wingers and one half-back this summer. Apart from these three "first-team" signings, we will only be signing youngsters.

The wingers that we've been linked with are Juan Mata, Eden Hazard, Ashley Young, Sylvian Marveaux, Marko Marin and Georginio Wijnaldum.

From these, Marveaux is very likely. One more should also be added from the ones mentioned above.

Half-backs we have looked at include Aly Cissokho and Jose Enrique. However, it doesn't look too likely that either of them will sign.

Youngsters we are looking at include Conor Wickham from Ipswich Town (Age 18), Phil Jones from Blackburn Rovers (Age 18), Kevn De Bruyne from KRC Genk (Age 19), Phillipe Coutinho from Inter Milan (Age 18) and Dennis De Praet from Anderlecht (Age 16).

There is an increasing amount of rumours regarding Mata and Hulk, Personally i'd rather Mata, he'd more than likely be a tad cheaper if recent reports are to be believed, but also a better talent.

So i'll put the question out there.

Mata (agree) or Hulk (disagree)

Comments encouraged too. .

Think a good summer would be:
Demba Ba
Turan
Dann
Mata
Enrique
Parker
Friedal

These are all very realistic.

Would leave us with this team in my eyes:

Reina

Johnson Carragher Agger Enrique

Mata Gerrard Lucas Turan

Carrol Suaze

Bench:
Demba Ba/Kuyt/Parker/Mierless/Friedal/Dann/Kelly

Our squad would be strong enough to cope with the injuries that are going to happen to the likes of Gerrard/Carra as we promote youth.

I have a few questions for everyone.

Why do you think we need a striker like Hulk or Aguero? Sure they would add competition but also course disruption with in the squad as they would expect to start every game. And I'm sorry, Aguero might just be the most over paid and over hyped player on the planet at the moment. For the price and wages they are asking for, I would of expected him to have atleast 25 league goals, but he is no where close.

The best squad wins trophies, having a team full of super stars will get you no where. Just ask Madrid.

Just been watching jose angel looks like a great lb lots of pace skill good pass good crosses.its either him or aly cissokho for lb for me.
as for cb don't need one as we have enough cover
cdm for me m'vila or matuidi both good the new essien and makelele.
st lukaku or muniain as both 17/ 18 lots of potential and won't mind sitting on bench.
lw marveaux as hes free and either mata/ johnson or downing
rw my preference would be payet cheaper and better than young who would be other option maybe jarvis as good squad player

so basically in order of preference:
lb:cissokho/ angel
cdm:m'vila/ matuidi
lw:marveaux and mata/ johnson/ downing
rw:payet/ young/ jarvis
st:lukaku/ muniain

I'm very excited about the prospect of Hazard. I've always found the possibility that we could sign him as realistic - as he plays for Lille after all, he was always going somewhere bigger - an approach for him would be fantastic.

However it will not be easy. Any club with half a clue will be tracking this player & that means all the big clubs. If the right quality is available this summer, money will be available at LFC though. I can't see him costing more than £30m and I reckon we would pay this amount gladly, in terms of wages - surely we can offer him a lucrative deal. 40-50k a week. That is not unreasonable - I wouldn't be surprised if we offered more.

The only problem is that there are more clubs who can equal - or better these financial offers. Namely Chelsea, Man City & Real Madrid - I don't think Utd are interested as they have Nani & Valencia - and are well stocked up front too. I don't see Arsenal competing with his demands -it just isn't Wengers style, it would spell the end too perhaps for Walcott. Highly unlikely.

If Chelsea are interested, he would be perfect for them - I haven't heard of him linked with them yet though. He doesn't fit the Ancellotti-type signing. . Though I could be wrong. Man City seem to be eyeing Sanchez (I hope) if this is the case then you could rule them out too. . so long as city land their man, that is.

Barca - Messi. . . that's the end of that. Can Real offer him first team football? If the answer is yes, then its all over for us. The big clubs in Italy will have money to spend - but I feel the Premiership is a bigger draw for an ambitious young player these days though. AC have been busy buying free transfers, snapping up the best bargains as per usual - whether they would pay Hazard's fee & wages though? It would be uncharacteristic.

Juve have money to spend after a huge sponsorship deal apparently (they just won't pay a mad fee for Aqua - I wouldn't blame them, good player but not worth that much - shrewd loan signing! they were NEVER gonna pay that amount though), like Liverpool - No CL football, perhaps no European football at all. Again though I feel England is a bigger draw.

Signing Hazard was always possible - but we'll need to go all out. He is so good. . he will certainly be one of the greatest players of his generation. I argued blind here that Suarez was amazing and I'm telling you now, this boy could make a serious difference to our team next year, he can make an impact as big as Suarez.

It's possible, but its time for Comolli to earn his wages - Signing Hazard would be a real coup. . . it will not be easy though! If Real come knocking offering first team football then BOOM. . . its all over. I'm hoping Mourinho's stubborn streak puts a spanner in the works though!

Some people here saying they hope he doesn't sign because he doesn't want to play for us! Reminds me of the Suarez haters, you have no idea how good he is people. . . this isn't FM (and he's good in that! He's just much better in real life!)

If he signs on the dotted line - then he wants to play for us. Please God! ! I hope to see a picture of him & Commoli with big cheesy grins on their faces! ! (Commoli will be the one with the 'cat that got the cream' look on his face!). If he wants to play in a 'footballing' side, I feel we can offer him that opportunity too.

And give ed002 a break. He can't always be right! ! and as for Aguero. . . . listen to the man. NO CHANCE IN HELL.

Ed in the case of Mata and. Hazzard also Hulk players normally look at the history of the club and also where they are going that's why players like Kaka and Ibrahimovic didn't want tox go to Man city. Surely with our new coach and new owners we would be a more attractive package than city with all their Billions. That's one thing that u refuse to include in your pre jugdements. We will get Mata and Hazard. Count on it Hazzard is Commolis favourite so be sure he's working round the clock to get his signature.

With LFC looking to buy a LB, and Martin Kelly looking to be Kenny's choice for RB, does that mean there is a possibility for Johnson to be sold this summer?
