Asked in the morning and Well how many think now we will batter spurs 6-0?
I never lie. It will happen.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

{Ed025's Note - spurs are not maribor akshit...whoa back a bit there mate..

17 Oct 2017 22:20:05
They are not even Utd. They are way better than Utd.

17 Oct 2017 22:28:46
Tough game on Sunday. Hopefully they will turn up and play and not park a bus.

17 Oct 2017 22:30:37
Honestly, I've been saying for a few weeks now (since the Spartak draw) that we are going to hammer someone soon and after the United draw (which I was hoping would be the team we hammer) I said it'll be Spurs.

It seemed to be tonight instead, but I still believe we'll beat Spurs comfortably 3-1.

17 Oct 2017 22:32:46
I also think we'll beat them but not predicting this one, I think it'll be a close game, it certainly won;t be easy but i reckon we'll edge it.

17 Oct 2017 22:55:08
Me to corl only an going to go with1-3 aswell hopfully between us we can bring some positivity to this page over the next month pal.

18 Oct 2017 01:40:44
We usually do well against spurs. I would love us to hammer them as we are the better team and they need knocking off their high horse. they are lucky to have harry kane. without him they're average.

What a result! yeah, let's get rid of klopp! he doesn't know what he's doing! only getting us the biggest score we have ever had in the worlds elite football competition.

The confidence will be back. chuffed as you like. nice one ox, lovely taken goal. deadly. some of the best football I have ever watched. we are the second best team in the league. I think city are top at the moment. Utd came to anfield and played as if they were burnley, parking the bus, coz they know, if you play we will beat you, we are better than you. we are better than arsenal (4 0) better than spurs, better than Chelsea imo and better than utd. I can honestly see us pushing on know. we have a solid base to push on from and we have an almost fully fit squad. Lallana due back and that can only be good.

18 Oct 2017 02:23:35
I don’t know what is more fanciful you thinking we will score 6 or Spurs will score 0. I fancy us to get a result against them, 2-1 for me.

18 Oct 2017 04:31:34
It is simple we were bound to score. And since we are just like that nothing or everything.
Everything phase has started. Spurs will try to play against us. But unfortunately they don't have speed in that team. They will get battered.
So 6-0, it is that kind of season.

TBH I feel we aren't much far from city in terms of first team. Bad defenders, great attackers. Ours weren't scoring much but it was just matter of time.
Start ox in mid ahead of gini/ hendo and I think spurs are there for the taking.

18 Oct 2017 05:49:24
i agree with smeg head. 2 1, or 1 0. is it at home? if so, it could be 4 0? happened last year (or was it the year before 5 1?) They will try and play 100% and we will win. it is a matter of being clinical in front of goal. it is no exaggeration to say, if Liverpool took even 75% of their decent chances we would've won nearly every game scoring 5/ 6 goals. we have been creating the chances and that is why I have not lost faith. Newcastle was the only game this season that I thought we were poor, firmino makes a massive difference and the premier league has started to really take notice of the lad. he is clearly growing as a player and getting better all the time, he was immense today. I got a thumbs down for saying we are the 2nd best team in the league right now, SEVEN NIL. did you not watch that football? it was amazing, like watching Barcelona 3 years ago. I know they're not the strongest team in the group but they had a lot to do to get into the ucl proper. they aren't rubbish, although they were simply blown away.

Another clean sheet for the boys. 2 in a row now. I think Moreno is one of the best left backs in the league right now

last season our bench wasn't that strong and it showed. we were thin on first team quality. now we have hendo, the ox, Sturridge, solanke, gomes, migs and woodburn. with mane and Lallana to come! we need to turn this in to a winning streak. and by Christmas we can be firmly in the top four. oh and grujic and ings.

18 Oct 2017 06:21:29
Superred82
Without Kane Spurs are average? I suggest Liverpool's trophy haul over the last decade suggests they are nothing but average.

18 Oct 2017 06:27:51
Superred, My local non league club would have given Maribor a game, calm down son!

{Ed001's Note - they got through the qualifying rounds to make it into the Champions League proper, your local non-league club must be a bit special if this hyperbole is even close to being true.}

18 Oct 2017 07:02:04
Would be very happy with 3 points against Spurs. Not bothered about margin of victory.
Maribor were unbeaten at home in 14 matches including Spartak Moscow. They can't be that easy to beat 0-7.

18 Oct 2017 07:58:23
Ed001 My local non league club is special, Maribor aren't.

{Ed001's Note - no one said they are, but your comment is idiotic and you just make yourself seem a bit of a tool with it. Disrespectful tool at that. They did not qualify by being crap, so please stop disrespecting a side that have worked damn hard to get there. They have achieved far more than you ever will.}

18 Oct 2017 08:36:52
Well said Ed1.

18 Oct 2017 08:56:18
Georgie, I thought you were joking at the start but now it seems that you really believe your own hype. Your non-league team is not a spec on Maribor. They are paid professionals who have CL experience and got through THREE qualifying rounds to get here. Also, they drew with Spartak (who thumped Sevilla) and Sevilla only scored 3 goals against then in Sevilla. Pretty sure your team would have been soundly beaten by any of these teams by high double digits in goals. Oh, and what would LFC have done to your team on that performers? They may not be at our level but your level of disrespect for them, is callous and shameful.

18 Oct 2017 09:37:13
I think a draw away at spurs would be a good result, with Kane on fire at the moment, and how we didn't defend set pieces well last night again, got to be aware that its not going to be a walk in the park!

18 Oct 2017 10:14:45
Calm down Georgie? my team just won 7 0 mate. away from home in the European cup. Of course I'm confident of beating Spurs at home.

Yeah I agree with the eds, a bit disrespectful to Maribor mate, they have won their league 6 times in the last 7 years? sumin like that. a good little team who were 3 down before they had tied their laces, never had a chance because the boys were on form. the defence looked pretty good today too.

18 Oct 2017 11:39:24
our recent trophy haul has been about as spectacular as spur's has. But our total trophy haul wouldn't fit in three of spur's cabinets.

18 Oct 2017 14:56:56
Realize Spurs held Real Madrid yesterday? quite a different level to Maribor!

17 Oct 2017 22:03:14
Wheres all the negative bashers now? You lot know who you are, 0-7 that's all a have to say.

Believable6 Unbelievable6

{Ed025's Note - one swallow does not a summer make knuckles..as they say..

17 Oct 2017 22:12:54
Yeah i here you mate, but a tell you ed025 its one hell of a start don't you think? Yes on paper we should beat them but by god it wasnt just a win, a very convincing one at that.

{Ed025's Note - i cant argue with that knuckles mate..

17 Oct 2017 22:19:43
the people your calling negative bashers are only giving there opinions on what there seeing week in week out and I could be one of those bashers as I have had a go at the team and manager i've also praised them too. and i thought Milner give a lot more tonight than Henderson and would play him against spurs decent performance tonight but spurs will be tough but I fancy us to beat them.

17 Oct 2017 22:21:38
We are not out of the woods yet, Knuckles BUT I agree woith you, it was a convincing win away from home in the CL and that is nothing to sneeze at. Credit to the boys and Klopp for the good result.

17 Oct 2017 22:26:19
Yes, I'm with you there mate.

17 Oct 2017 22:27:37
But that bloody defence didn't contribute with a single goal! 🤡.

17 Oct 2017 22:31:38
Hopefully this gives the lads the confidence they need especially in front of goal. Spurs also had a very good result tonight so they will also be buzzing on Sunday. Our defence going up against an in form Kane and Eriksen will be their biggest challenge since city. If we win on Sunday then that could be the kickstart this season needed.

17 Oct 2017 22:32:47
Redsteve if you are one and? Just coz your one ain't going to change my mind, i support liverpool and go to many games so supporting lfc means players managers and owners win lose or draw, i certianly don't come on here to bitch when we lose but i also read many bitching posts, so yeah when we win convincingly away in the cl i am here to gloat like it or lump it pal.

17 Oct 2017 22:32:56
knuckles are you looking for us (negative posters) here im.
yes i was a good game for us, win the next 3 games and you made me a beliver from doubter.

17 Oct 2017 22:36:06
Jayden one game at a time we won tonight so enjoy the result instead of trying to put a downer on it, some posters will just never be happy.

17 Oct 2017 22:44:57
Tonight looked easy because we were so dominant but the fact that no other team has ever done that to them in Europe before and they were unbeaten at home this season tells you just how good we were tonight. We always make the opposition look poor when we play well but they are a much better side than we allowed them to be tonight.

17 Oct 2017 22:47:49
Knuckles what part of my comment is putting a downer on it 🤦🏻‍♂.

17 Oct 2017 22:51:09
Crazy horse, if we lost the next 3 believe you and me the 4th al still be in the stands watching the match, because supporting a team means to follow a team thru thick and thin! Have you heard the saying we win together we lose together? And i will continue to do so come on you mighty reds!

17 Oct 2017 23:11:37
KNUCKLES
I don't come on here to bitch mate just to give an opinion like you i've been to quite a few games been supporting the reds for 45yrs and if u read my first post i said it was a good performance tonight and I fancy us to beat spurs. all of us on here have different opinions and I respect your views too knuckles enjoy the spurs game and hopfully 3 points.

17 Oct 2017 23:31:47
Redsteve in my views it will be 3 points am sure of it hopfully might see in in the sandon brfore a game soon for a pint lad.

17 Oct 2017 23:34:57
Jayden instead of enjoying tonights result you have to bring the spurs game up why? We won tonight let's think of spurs at the weekend eh, but for now re-joice in our great performance.

17 Oct 2017 23:48:59
The Seville score is more of a shock to me,
Unbelievable Jeff!

I'm delighted for Ox, getting your first goal will ease the pressure a bit,

If you get a chance watch Kietas performance for Leipzig, He looks absolutely top top class,

A Great night in many ways,

18 Oct 2017 00:02:36
I go the cabbage hall knuckles enjoy your pint.

18 Oct 2017 01:47:14
knuckles we are not talking about support here? you and your so called positive friends have zero right to judge my love or commitment to liverpool. yes i think Kloop is not the best manager in the world but that hasn't changed my love or my negative minded friends love for Lfc. anf its one good game in last 7 so let's not be too exited.

18 Oct 2017 03:31:01
unbelievable! some of the finest football I have ever seen. And it was a champions league game, away from home. UCL proper.

The dam has burst I reckon, I think spurs will be quite easily dispatched actually. Lallana and mane to come back. amazing, on cloud 9.

18 Oct 2017 05:55:29
yeah, I forgot to mention Milner. He was f****ng brilliant tonight. I love Hendo and you can't really compare the two. I thought milner was more creative and more focused on getting the ball forward rather than playing safe and just tidying up. I'm glad he had a good game because a few people have been doubting him here recently, even myself a little but he proved tonight he still has enough in the engine to play some lush football. good on ya Milly.

18 Oct 2017 01:07:00
ye but it only takes one devil-bat to make a winter for some fans.

{Ed025's Note - your not wrong faith mate..

18 Oct 2017 06:28:58
I told my wife that one swallow does not a summer make.

She turned so frosty that we've moved on to winter now.

18 Oct 2017 07:34:33
Knuckles please explain to me why I cannot bring up our next game in 5 days time. Anyone swear you think this website is for you and you alone, you're now even dishing out your own rules 🤦🏻‍♂🤦🏻‍♂🤦🏻‍♂.

18 Oct 2017 09:17:30
Knuckles, Jayden is right to bring up the Spurs game cos that is the next and most important game of the season right now. Hopefully, we can play well in that game and get the 3 points.

17 Oct 2017 22:00:52
Why is it whenever we win easily everyone talks about how poor the opposition is? Because when we are at it we stifle them so much they make error after error. Great performance tonight well done lads!

Believable8 Unbelievable1

17 Oct 2017 22:25:23
Ings IMO, it is cos some of our fans wallow in so much self pity that they simply cannot bring themselves to saying that we did well. They'd rather make excuses for the opposition than give our boys whatever amount of credit they deserve just to satisfy such a defeatist attitude. Just my take.

17 Oct 2017 22:32:27
You can only beat what's in front of you so for that alone we can only praise the lads.

17 Oct 2017 22:32:56
They just weren't a very good team. I would doubt there is a poorer team in the competition. Let's not fool ourselves but what was impressive was our ability to put the chances away and not even give them a sniff. Let's still enjoy the win and looking at the table- the goal difference as well.

17 Oct 2017 22:37:49
I think it’s like a defence mechanism. If you constantly bitch and moan about how bad we are then when we lose it gives you a sense of satisfaction that you were right rather than having that gut wrenching feeling I get when we lose. When we do well it’s because the other team are poor just so they can justify their comments keeping their guard up in preparation for the next poor result. It’s quite sad really.

17 Oct 2017 22:51:48
Aoe that’s exactly what I mean. When we play well we make the opposition look bad because we don’t let them breathe. A 7-0 score line away in the Champions League vertually never happens. It’s our biggest away win in Europe ever! That alone should tell you what a great performance that was.

18 Oct 2017 00:29:39
I think any other team in the competition beats them comfortably tonight. I'm not making light of a thoroughly professional performance but I am looking at it objectively. Klopp picked a strong team, he made some nice substitutions thinking ahead and we didn't let our heads drop. On the other hand, we'll likely never face a team who will capitulate as badly as this one for the next decade or so.

{Ed001's Note - it was not as simple as that, if we had not scored early then it would have been different. That killed their gameplan and forced them to come out and play.}

18 Oct 2017 09:13:55
That's a fair point ed and I agree that maribor worked hard to qualify for the group stages so kudos to them and make no mistake that I'm delighted about the result. But really, I'm seeing everyone lose the run of themselves over a freak scoreline. I don't even think we got out of first gear. I think they just fell apart early on when we started well and let us play the ball around the park like a training match. Maybe I'm wrong but only can looked interested in busting a nut to cover when they dared to go into our half. For me it was the perfect match for a tough one against Spurs. Hopefully klopp makes the lads feel ten feet tall and they go out and put in a really strong performance and we start catching up.

18 Oct 2017 10:24:00
you're exactly right Ed01, spot on dude. It's that electric start we do under Klopp, I never realised what a devastating idea it is. it kills the opposition's game plan, bosh, now what? and like ed01 says, then they need to play, no time to dilly in the ucl

Coz we won 7 0 some people are assuming Maribor are rubbish. you don't get this far in the ucl by being rubbish, you don't get anywhere near it if you're rubbish. We done arsenal 4 0 and they are in the top echelon of pro football, could have EASILY been 7 0 too.

17 Oct 2017 21:46:23
Top job from the lads, I was doubtful at the start about Milner but on that performance we look more balanced with him instead of Hendo.
Just a word on Moreno, How any LFC fan can't be proud as punch of him for knuckling down and getting a shirt is beyond me, he looks more assured all the time, I know he didn't have much defending to do but he's only 24 and can only get better, And a side note on Robertson, has he been kidnapped or something?
Top result YNWA.

Believable11 Unbelievable0

17 Oct 2017 21:59:23
Very professional performance by the lads tonight. We were expected to win and did so comfortably.
I totally agree with Supergrob about Moreno. He's coming on leaps and bounds and producing some great performances. Long may he continue. we'll done lad!

17 Oct 2017 22:02:04
Emre Can was brilliant tonight! You just don’t knock off the ball from him. He is a proper tank! He has a great touch as well.

17 Oct 2017 22:07:11
It was a good performance by the players. I criticised the attack a few days ago because I felt if we were more clinical, the defense would be under less pressure.
Admittedly, it was a woeful Maribur, but they'd no attempt at goal in the 2nd half. Not even off target. NONE. Despite the fact that we took the foot off the gas a little bit. They wouldn't risk going forward because they knew they would concede.
That's what I want to see from the attack every week. Be clinical and stop the opponent from coming forward.

17 Oct 2017 22:16:13
Harry is that a positive post my friend, i take my hat of and bow sir, well done!

17 Oct 2017 22:29:29
Spot on, boys. Very professional performance from our boys. Make no mistake about it, Maribor as poor as they were (and good heavens they were rank dross), took points off Spartak and Sevilla only put two past them in Sevilla so we needed not just a win, a convincing win and we got that. Credit to Klopp and the boys for getting the job done.

As for Moreno, today's game even tho he was not threatened, showed why Robbo has a fight on his hands to keep Moreno out.

17 Oct 2017 22:55:45
Knuckles Harry is only praising Can so he can moan when he joins Juve in Jan or the summer. It’s so predictable.

18 Oct 2017 00:37:20
You can't possibly suggest Milner in for Henderson after that performance. Suggest it after a decent performance against actual opposition. I'm in no way knocking the lad- I'm using common sense. I find it difficult to believe Henderson would not have had an outstanding performance tonight with that much time and space and complete disinterest from the opposition. If anything I thought gini could have done more given the opposition.

18 Oct 2017 01:52:11
Knuckles and Bingo, harry is one of the posters who knows this game very well. he can praise one if needed and critisize when required. just beacuse Kloop won few thropys in germany and won todays game comfortably doesnot means he should be worshiped as few of you guys do. Harry has more ball then all the other posters who come out only when we win the game and when we are loosing they hide back under the rock they call home.

18 Oct 2017 13:58:20
'Harry is one of the posters who knows this game very well'>

Hahahahahaha.

17 Oct 2017 21:44:06
Okey us battering Maribor, but Spartak battering Sevilla is insane.
We finish first in this group!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

17 Oct 2017 22:33:13
There are no easy games in the CL anymore. Appoel took points off BVB, Spartak thumped Sevilla and Maribor took points off Spartak. The fact that we dominated all three of our our group rivals shows how good we actually are as a team.

17 Oct 2017 21:33:23
As I say Klopp hasn’t got to a clue has lads
Up the pool.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

17 Oct 2017 22:34:04
The Klopp out people will be out in force again if we lose at Spurs on Sunday.

17 Oct 2017 22:51:43
Unfortunately Bingo mate football is a results business and if like you mention we lose on Sunday then that would be 2 wins in 10 games. I won't be calling for Klopps head but again I would be asking questions. But anyway let's cross that bridge if we come to it. For now let's enjoy the feeling of tonight's win.

18 Oct 2017 13:59:59
What Klopp out people? I know many people are starting to doubt him - I know I have my doubts - but I'm still yet to see anyone who actually seems to have a history of supporting the club saying they want Klopp out.

17 Oct 2017 21:32:32
Hats off to the lads tonight.
Easy opponent?
Possibly, but you still have to beat them.
Delighted for AOC too!
This has been coming for weeks.
Gotta be happy with tonight's group results.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

17 Oct 2017 21:52:03
Poor old Maribor were absolutely dreadful, but we were professional enough to finish them off. Never needed to get out of first gear. Delighted for ox. Milner will never have an easier game to play like he did, but fair dues to him. The only negative was wiji didn't do a great deal to impose himself on the game but I'm probably being a little harsh.

17 Oct 2017 22:07:02
There are lots of so called easy teams in the Champions League but not too many get beat 7-0 on their own ground. It was a superb result and a clean sheet.

17 Oct 2017 22:36:16
Spot on, Irish. There are no easy opponents in the CL, I'm afraid. This same Maribor team took points off Spartak, Spartak blasted Sevilla and Appoel took points off BVB. We smacked Maribor 7-0 on the road and could have been 10 easily. Hats off to the boys and Klopp!

17 Oct 2017 21:29:24
I got my wish 😁 Great win bring on the weekend.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - you beat a team who pick beetroots six days a week longthing, not much to shout home about there mate..

17 Oct 2017 21:34:45
I'd still have them to do Everton in Europe though 😉.

{Ed025's Note - your not far wrong there den..

17 Oct 2017 21:35:16
Oh come on let us just enjoy eds25.

{Ed025's Note - fair enough mate..well done..

17 Oct 2017 21:35:50

17 Oct 2017 21:39:14
A 0-7 win in the champions league I think we can shout all we want 🤗.

{Ed025's Note - very much so my friend

17 Oct 2017 21:41:23
No English team had won there before 025 you can only beat what's put in front of you buddy.

{Ed025's Note - your right mate..

17 Oct 2017 21:42:08
But beetroot picking is a skilled art Ed025 give them that at least jeez
Up the pool.

{Ed025's Note - im a massive beetroot fan redan...especially with a bowl of scouse mate...you cant whack it..

17 Oct 2017 21:49:59
Haha I knew you was a red quality one more of us one less of them
Up the pool.

{Ed025's Note - i have never been so insulted redan..

17 Oct 2017 21:52:07
You stick to whacking it Ed025 you're probably good at that - you have to be good at something!

{Ed025's Note - im good at most things ben, i was descibed as ubiquitous in the liverpool pink echo many moons ago mate..

17 Oct 2017 21:52:59
It was an inferior opponent but we needed this for confidence I think. Fair play to ed always willing to joke and take it back on the chin haha spurs done well too, on the back foot most of the game but ground out a result spartak were a shock too.

{Ed025's Note - all,s fair in love and football JBLP..

17 Oct 2017 21:55:48
I hear you need bitters to make a decent cocktail ed25.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know p1 i never drink them mate..but have told a few cock tales in the past mate.. :)

17 Oct 2017 22:04:09
Who is teasing ed025? No one teases him! It’s an order 😎😎😎😎.

{Ed025's Note - i knew you would have my back harry..cheers mate..

17 Oct 2017 22:24:27
Always Ed. 😎😎😎😎.

17 Oct 2017 22:38:05
Ed25, we deserve any type of joy we get cos it's been tedious through out this sticky patch.

{Ed025's Note - i dont begrudge you that bingo, and hopefully it will stop all the moaning for a few days mate..

17 Oct 2017 23:46:22
Don't let 025 wind you up, he supports the toffees and he's bottom of the match result predictions league. 😁.

{Ed025's Note - that is only temporary IDLLK as the cream will rise to the top and i will be bang there at the end mate..

18 Oct 2017 23:34:07
So I should stick with your predictions for my accu's then eds?

{Ed025's Note - absolutely mate, i missed the first couple of weeks but i will catch up because im the best...you know it makes sense..

17 Oct 2017 19:11:29
Question for Ed001 please if you have time mate.

I've always been a big fan of Henderson and think he's been crucial when fully fit, but have grown increasingly worried with his recent performances.

Do you still rate him as a player and do you think he merits a place in the side at the moment?

Cheers for your time.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - he is struggling for fitness and his form has dipped due to it. The injury is really hampering him, but he still can perform on a good day, like against Arsenal and he led the press against Man Utd. The problem is his current role restricts him from showing anything, it is very limited, so he is not really likely to show anything special anyway. If his injury continues to restrict him through the season, I expect the club to look to replace him in the summer to be honest.}

17 Oct 2017 19:27:47
Is that a hunch Ed or have you heard that to be the case?

{Ed001's Note - it is very early to say with certainty but I would have said if it was a hunch mate. I said expect because that is what I was informed. Sorry I should have made that clearer.}

17 Oct 2017 20:30:03
Thanks for reply Ed so looks like we may have a pretty different midfield next season.

Big shame that if you are right Eds1 but it's looking that way. . On another point with no news on cans contract it looks like the Ox has been bought to replace him?

{Ed001's Note - Ox was bought as a squad filler.}

17 Oct 2017 21:19:39
Ed 01 I know you don't like talking money but that's a pretty expensive stocking filler.

17 Oct 2017 21:20:03
Squad filler. Bloody autocorrect.

17 Oct 2017 22:01:16
Such a number would have been expensive last year before the transfers went completely insane. With the ridiculous money bandied around last transfer window it's not as excessive imo. But we really shouldn't talk about finances cos that's when the trouble starts.

17 Oct 2017 23:25:30
With your information that Henderson may be sold should he continue to have struggles overcoming his injury do you think this could have any bearing on Cans future. I think he is our best bet in the deeper midfield role and was outstanding tonight. Could his mind be changed that more game time is available should Henderson be moved on?

Also what's going on with grujic?

Cheers.

17 Oct 2017 22:39:54
Feel for the lad, Ed. He's a true role model and shows how much you can achieve by being committed, eager to learn, hardworking and humble.

17 Oct 2017 19:07:58
AOC looks like a £40 mill squad player already. Can't get ahead of Wijnaldum who has been anonymous from the start of the season and an aging Milner.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - alex hopeless chamberlain has to be the worst buy of the season harry, he makes davy klaassen seem like a bargain mate..

17 Oct 2017 22:41:02
I did not want Ox here myself BUT is it too much to ask that we support our own players whether we agree with them coming in or not?

18 Oct 2017 07:15:10
Has he had a full game yet?

GIVE HIM A CHANCE!
He deserves at least half a season to settle in. 😡.

{Ed025's Note - but he has played in the prem for a long time ron so you would expect at least the basic,s to be right, i think he is awful mate but am happy to agree to disagree..

17 Oct 2017 19:06:39
Andy Robertson is clearly not wanted! I can't believe we bought him!

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - i know we dont see him day in day out at training harry but what i have seen of him he looks very decent mate, and dare i say it better than anything else at the club at left back..

17 Oct 2017 19:14:16
Why buy a player who is not wanted by the manager. I can’t believe the club has learned nothing from previous transfer mess!
AOC looks like another VALUABLE squad player. He wants the central role and he doesn’t get a sniff in the middle. Milner starts.

17 Oct 2017 19:43:55
i really don't understand klopp its not just Robertson not getting a look in ward solanke grujic ain't had hardly any game time. and on tonight's team thought klopp would of left a CM out and dropped courtinho back and played sturridge or solanke up top. we've had 1 win in 8 so somethink ain't working and if we don't win tonight and sun against spurs klopp is going to be under pressure.

17 Oct 2017 21:08:49
I know that Klopp ain got to clue has he you lot make me laugh
Up the pool.

{Ed025's Note - yeah..right up the pool redan.. :)

17 Oct 2017 21:31:19
Haha very good Ed025 shame Rooney not as quick eh
UP THE POOL.

{Ed025's Note - it really is redan mate..

18 Oct 2017 07:17:08
Harry you do realise we are not even a quarter of the way through the season don't you?
So you've written off Robbo and the Ox after less than a quarter of a season.

This is a new low for you.

17 Oct 2017 17:21:55
Come on Liverpool win tonight and cheer everyone up pleeeese! YNWA.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - not everyone longthing.. :)

17 Oct 2017 17:30:32
I know ed025 secretly supports Lfc.

{Ed025's Note - iot must be very secret Eka...even i dont know it mate.. :)

17 Oct 2017 17:49:38
You know Ed025, I can feel it. It's a subconscious behavior, that's even you don't know it.

{Ed025's Note - i would sooner support united than liverpool Eka...and thats saying something mate..

17 Oct 2017 18:08:54
Well at least some of your family had the good sense to go RED😁.

{Ed025's Note - it was not good sense barry, it was typical kids who are just like harry enfields "kevin" and never do as they are bloody well told, they are rebels who would swear that black was white just to start an argument mate..

17 Oct 2017 18:30:45
At least you get to watch some decent football ed 25. Well when the kids are watching the match anyway.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know about that p1, watching merseyside clubs these days is worse than visiting the dentist mate..

17 Oct 2017 20:24:12
Lol ed 25. Were hard to watch at times I suppose but come on ed your lot are more like watching the prisoners v the guards.

{Ed025's Note - your right p1 we are awful mate, and if it wasn,t for the likes of henderson and alex hopeless chamberlain making me smile it would be even worse!..

17 Oct 2017 20:43:18
Well of course you would rather watch Utd Ed25s as Everton are their feeder club.

{Ed025's Note - now thats just wrong ace, we like them because they have kicked your under performing arses for nearly 30 years and thats all mate..

17 Oct 2017 20:56:43
They'd still get a game for your lot ed lol. You've even got rooney for crying out loud.

{Ed025's Note - im not a rooney fan at all p1, but you have to admit those two are absolute clowns, you do have some very good players but those chuckle brothers make our team look like world beaters..

17 Oct 2017 21:12:16
5 stars ed 5 stars.

{Ed025's Note - ancient history ace...you only have 3 stars now mate, mane, salah and couts..and hes on his bike out of mediocreville soon mate..

17 Oct 2017 21:26:42
Well Ed1 seems to think Hendo will be gone at the end of the season I for one won't be bothered as long as a better replacement is found or maybe already has been . Emre can't will be gone it appears as long as he's suitably replaced not bothered. Couts will go I would of got lemar when we had the chance and settled him in. It's the defence and keeper what desperately needed addressing and still does.

17 Oct 2017 21:33:29
You left out Karius, absolutely brilliant tonight!

{Ed025's Note - karius and brilliant are 2 words that never belong in the same sentence ace..

17 Oct 2017 10:57:38
who on here think we will blast spurs 6-0 maybe?

Believable4 Unbelievable13

17 Oct 2017 11:38:57
Ron Keague?

17 Oct 2017 12:10:32
Nah I'm thinking 8-0.

17 Oct 2017 12:11:50
Not me, OP. Ron? DEFO!

17 Oct 2017 13:33:11
I'm going so I hope so! I'm usually pessimistic but I'm feeling optimistic for some reason. Give me a 3-1.

17 Oct 2017 13:26:44
We will need to blast Maribor first and then Spurs!

17 Oct 2017 13:26:44
We will need to blast Maribor first and then Spurs!

17 Oct 2017 18:28:11
We win tonight, Madrid give spurs a good hiding and we finish them off at the weekend ⚽️😝.

18 Oct 2017 06:24:42
I would be happy with another DRAW! Need the win though!

18 Oct 2017 07:18:46
😄 I think I said yesterday I was disappointed that so many had already written off the Spurs game!
I also said we'd win a tight game.

6-0 it is then 😎.

17 Oct 2017 09:30:11
I know there has been lots of talk about signings and klopp and results etc but just wondering how important the signing of a genuine world class coach might be
Your saw under arsenal when Pat Rice left what happened and how important Ronnie Moran was to us back in the day
Pako with Benitez etc
I just think you can have all the world class players you want but if you don't have the right coaches to train them day in day out it won't make a difference.
Also players have to be intelligent enough to take the coaching on board and apply when needed in games but also think for themselves.
Imagine what a Silvino Louro could do for our goalkeepers, I just wonder if their is anyone on that bench with the balls to tell klopp "this is not working because of this reason so try this" when the going gets tough.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

17 Oct 2017 09:42:36
Steve Clarke and Kenny made a solid pair as well! Clarke made us look really solid at the back! Pako and Rafa were a genuine case. We have been crying out for a GK coach from 3 good years now! I don’t think Klopp would make any changes there.

17 Oct 2017 10:09:33
Seeing Schmichael on Monday night football really demonstrated how a good goal keeper coach could make a massive difference to keepers, especially young keepers. I am not saying we get him in, but we need a very good coach for the keepers.

{Ed001's Note - in what way? Kasper was awful on Monday night and he still gets lots of tips from his dad, so not sure Peter would be the best choice of coach, if you are suggesting him!}

17 Oct 2017 12:12:47
Never rated Schmeichel jnr.

18 Oct 2017 07:20:08
GK coach is needed.
I think, generally speaking, managers and their coaching team come as a package. They find someone they like working with and stick together.
I'd let Klopp pick the coaches. 👍.

17 Oct 2017 08:08:19
Morning.
I was wondering, would it be possible for the fans of LFC to make a donation pot and raise x amount of millions and give it to the club for use to a transfer?
Not saying it would ever happen. Just wondering if it could.

Believable3 Unbelievable5

17 Oct 2017 09:30:07
There is no shortage of money. £50 mill for Kieta, £40 mill for AOC. £40 mill for Salah. Turned down a potential £100 mill for Coutinho! You could thank Sky for pumping abundance of cash into the game!

17 Oct 2017 09:47:11
It wasn’t a suggestion it was more of a query as to wethere there was restrictions.
I know there is money to spend with the £70m for VVD still available.

17 Oct 2017 09:49:50
OP. money is not and will NEVER be the issue as we have the money to buy who we think will help the team We were prepared to pay 150m for both Keita and VVD in the summer YET you want us to make a donation for transfers? Keep your money cos the club does not need it, clearly.

17 Oct 2017 09:50:41
I couldn't think of anything more embarrassing for the club or as a fan than the fans directly raising money for transfers.

17 Oct 2017 10:11:56
It happens every week when we shell out a ridiculous amount for a ticket! 😡
If the club was being run responsibly then you could have a conversation, but at the moment, my perception is we are not being run responsibly.

17 Oct 2017 10:12:33
Your missing op point he's not asking to raise £££ just if it's possible to raise £££ by the fans to purchase a player.

17 Oct 2017 10:16:47
If we was going to raise money, it'd be for either charities or to the eds for running the websites, which is something id love to see, but to the club, nah, they get enough money from us from ticket sales alone never mind everything else.

17 Oct 2017 11:14:35
I don’t think it’s allowed, I’m sure I it read on here years ago about someone wanting to put a few million in to buy a player but it wasn’t allowed, sure it was in rafas time.

17 Oct 2017 14:07:44
You got it Reusch.
I’m not asking anyone to put money into a pot.
I’m asking if it could be done.

17 Oct 2017 15:01:46
When i was in year 8 I would have given my liverpool piggy bank to get us David Villa.

17 Oct 2017 16:01:00
This has reminded me of United London FC. Fans don't quite help out with transfers but they do pick the starting line up each week through the website.

Imagine if Liverpool picked the line up from this site every week! Ward and Solanke would play every game and Klavan would probably have been put down.

{Ed001's Note - I know the guy who started that, Mark, nice fella and he has worked incredibly hard to get that working.}

17 Oct 2017 16:26:34
Such a good way for an amateur team to build a fanbase! Must be a smart chap.

17 Oct 2017 17:35:39
I think fans should get the chance to raise money to sign a particular player which the majority wants Lfc to sign. We can conduct a poll throughout the season and then raise money.

{Ed025's Note - i think supporters pay enough to be honest Eka what with tickets, merchandise, travel etc, the owners have plenty of money and they will be the ones making the money if the club gets sold so its a no from me mate..

17 Oct 2017 17:56:32
You're right Ed25, I was just thinking about the possibilities. Us fans have no right to decide what the club officials must do with the money they earn from ticket sales and etc but, If we raise money for a transfer. We can directly ask the club to sign the player our fans want.

{Ed002's Note - it has happened before but certainly won’t be happening at Liverpool. Fantasy stuff I am afraid.}

17 Oct 2017 01:25:51
Love the idea of the charity set up, I will donate Friday! It'd be good for more stuff like this, especially at this time of the year what with Christmas and all, but really to me, any time of the year. It's nice to be nice!

Believable20 Unbelievable0

17 Oct 2017 20:36:22
