MKS you have quite a few responses to your England article on the various sites mate, Everton and Chelsea I remember seeing but there are others too I am sure.

16 Nov 2017 20:17:18
Oh no 😂 I'll have a look!

17 Nov 2017 06:36:13
Thanks for letting me know Ed. I replied to all i could find. Well, except the Arsenal lads because it turned into an argument with a Spurs fan 😂.

{Ed001's Note - maybe it is time for a bit of sanity there mate - don't worry about the argument, it is par for the course with them.}

17 Nov 2017 07:54:01
I was expecting to get some stick off them for what i said about Wilshere, but the Tottenham troll was a great reflection 😂.

17 Nov 2017 07:54:24
Deflection*.

17 Nov 2017 15:04:26
That the england article about the world cup squad?

Thoroughly enjoyed reading it, it would be so refreshing to see us go to the world cup with a whole team of young lads and leaving the same failures like milner, smalling, clyne, rooney, walcott etc behind.

17 Nov 2017 15:11:34
Thanks for reading AW. Glad you enjoyed it and completely agree with you. Bored of same old, lsame old!

{Ed001's Note - soton are discussing it now mate.}

17 Nov 2017 16:43:10
May I know where the article is?

Ed002 created 3 Sharkopods today, 1 of them was about the latest Liverpool transfer rumours.

Cheers Ed002. Great work.

16 Nov 2017 20:39:51
That is some of the weirdest sh#t I have ever heard, got to say I loved it! Thanks for the update ed02. What’s your view on Lemar (forget the price) as a player? Do you think he would suit the EPL? Thanks again, love the site.

{Ed002's Note - in theory he should do just fine in England but he has been accused of not being able to sustain his best form - which is very good. The price may we’ll be a issue.}

16 Nov 2017 20:43:13
Thanks for the update Ed002.

{Ed002's Note - No problem.}

16 Nov 2017 20:58:08
Cheers ed002. Lemar or draxler for me from the midfield options you gave think both are very good players. Would take gomes off Barcelona rather than rafinha don't rate rafinha to be honest.

16 Nov 2017 21:27:10
Thanks for the update Ed. Laxalt is a strange one for me I know Klopp likes a player to run really fast but it seems that's pretty much where it ends with him. The frustration would be that he gets into the right positions then fails to have the composure to deliver a decent pass (an attribute we have seen in a few past players) . I really like lemar but it sounds like he will cost at least as much as coutinho will go for and that will likely see us walk away. The interesting one for me is Max Mayer who could play in between Mane and Salah, he's at a slightly different stage of his development but looks to have similar qualities to coutinho, a playmaker decent pace and a low centre of gravity and really good composure when unlocking tight defences. He might not be everyone's pick but if he is available on a pre contract it's a no brainer for me. CB will be tricky and I'm not convinced we will be able to prize de Vrijj away in Jan and going in for VVD would be embarrassing to say the least, I hope we find a solution and that anything we do doesn't block Gomez.

16 Nov 2017 21:35:09
Wow. Thanks ed mate well worth waiting for. Lemar or Draxler for me would be amazing.

16 Nov 2017 22:37:26
Thanks Ed002.

Really appreciate it. Time will tell. Would be nice to see a transfer window where Liverpool just go and get the deals done.

Sounds like some are available such as De Vrij and Howedes and Lemar. Hopefully we will get a decent deal for coutinho and move on and focus back on our season.

17 Nov 2017 00:08:20
Thank you Ed, that was really good and I love the music choices. Brilliant stuff all of the way around.

{Ed002's Note - Thanks stone.}

17 Nov 2017 00:23:40
I’m hoping it’s not lemar. He is not worth half of what they are asking for. I’m not saying he’s bad, but I’ve never seen a more one footed player (granted one of my biggest criticisms of the one he is replacing is one footedness) . His goal returns aren’t great. I know he is still young, I just feel that there are better options out there that are way more fairly priced.

The Meyer/ Draxler link is interesting. I haven’t seen much of either but I hear good things. Meyer from what I’ve heard could be the real deal.

Regardless, a CB would do nicely. And I hope coutinho is gone by the end of November as you suggested.

Thank you for the Sharkopod Ed002.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

17 Nov 2017 09:18:48
Hope you don't mind Ed but for those that can't get around to watching the full Sharkopod here is a brief summary of all the rumored possible ins for January mentioned by Ed002. More than likely we will end up with no one coming in as January as it is a hard window to make deals happen as clubs need to find replacements when players leave.

Van Dijk (CB)
De Vrij (CB)
Howedes (CB)
Schuurs (CB)
Goretzka (CM)
Rafinha (CM)
Andre Gomes (CM)
Meyer (CAM)
Draxler (CAM)
Laxalt (LM)
Lemar (LM)
Brandt (LM)

17 Nov 2017 10:03:27
I am getting a bit uncertain over a potential Lemar deal. In the summer, I was all for spending big on a quality replacement for Coutinho but our midfield has held its own (attacking wise) without Coutinho and Lallana so not sure spending a bulk of the budget on Lemar makes too much sense.
If Barcelona stump up 100 million plus for Coutinho, I say just sign two quality CBs that Klopp prefers (De Vrij, VVD, Gimenez) and leave the midfield as it is till the summer.

17 Nov 2017 09:12:54
Thanks Ed002.
It’s gong to be very interesting to see if the club strike a deal for Couthino by the 30th November.

That’s 9 working days, they must be in talks now?

{Ed002's Note - People don't hust work during the week but Liverpool will likely look to delay matters - which is what they have again done with Solanke.}

17 Nov 2017 11:59:34
Sorry ed have I got this correct mate. Barcelona looking for a November agreement for Couts to take him in January or the summer? If it is for Jan am I right in thinking any replacement such as Lemar will be in the summer?

{Ed002's Note - Put aside any thoughts about when things will actually happen - they would like him in January but what they are pushing to achieve is an agreement on the transfer itself by November 30.}

17 Nov 2017 12:27:41
Thanks Ed2. Not sure what I enjoy more, the music or the transfer update. Great job, you spoil us.

{Ed002's Note - Thanks Nick.}

17 Nov 2017 12:29:57
Ok ed. Thank you.

17 Nov 2017 14:07:35
Great sharkopod ed2 bothe content and sounds. Do you know who could be leaving Barcelona in January and moving to a London club? Btw it sounds like you got your music taste from the cavern club in the sixties.

{Ed002's Note - it is unimportant on the Liverpool page and probably someone you don’t know.}

17 Nov 2017 21:06:58
Well then don't mention it on the Liverpool sharkopod 😳.

{Ed002's Note - i’ll Have the Sharkod deleted for you.}

17 Nov 2017 21:33:29
Ed mate don't delete it please. i've listened to it 4 times already lol. Im hanging on to us getting Lemar into replace you no who.

18 Nov 2017 06:28:55
Sharkod is that a double fishtake?

16 Nov 2017 19:13:34
Ed001, I was just reading an interview with Moreno and it was interesting to hear his thoughts on the season gone by, he talks about his change in attitude and how he is now trying to focus on when to attack rather than to always attack.

Anyway, my question is how do you rate Moreno's performances this season? Do you still see left back as a "priority position"? How do you think he has improved?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - he is much improved, though he still has a lot to work on, such as not lunging in recklessly. He has done enough to ensure left back is no longer a priority and shown he is listening and improving. However he does need to improve a lot more before I would be happy with that position for the long term.

I have noticed a marked improvement in his decision making, he does show more thought with his runs, being more of a support attacker most of the time. In the last game he was more attacking in the first half when played at wing back, then sat back for the second half until Milner came on and then he did go forward when Milner dropped in to cover. He is playing like he is thinking about what he is doing, rather than just charging forward mindlessly.}

17 Nov 2017 01:08:27
It’s nice to see a player buckle down, not complain when he’s not playing and get his just rewards in the end. Fair played to the lad I thought his Liverpool career was over in the summer but he’s proved a lot of people wrong.

17 Nov 2017 00:25:13
Good assessment there ed001. I’m all for someone that keeps their head down and works hard to improve, instead of just leaving when the going gets tough. Much more deserving of the shirt imo.

{Ed001's Note - thank you and I totally agree, a good attitude can make a lot of difference in the long term.}

17 Nov 2017 05:04:25
Klopp effect you tthink ed1?

{Ed001's Note - to a degree, though it is much down to the lad himself.}

16 Nov 2017 19:11:50
What's the latest on Klopps health scare?
Don't like the fact that the club isn't coming out saying it's nothing to worry about nor the fact he needs furture health checks in the days to come.
Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery soon.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

16 Nov 2017 22:02:27
Surely Klopp’s health, just like yours and mine, is totally private. Regardless of what the issue is i’m sure he doesn’t want everyone knowing about it. Give the man some privacy.

17 Nov 2017 14:45:35
Very true, its private, but it could very much be that he is a bit run down, simple as that .

16 Nov 2017 18:40:43
Does anyone know anyone who has managed to buy tickets through the general fiasco this morning? Any idea lads where I can get some tickets? Ex s/ ticket holder living down south now!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

16 Nov 2017 19:08:46
The whole buying a ticket system is a mess! They need to change it for next season. Currently anyone in the world can join the queue to buy tickets regardless of whether they are a member or even qualify! You should have to put your membership no in and if you qualify it puts you in the queue! I queued for over 2hrs today and didn't get any tickets! If the system wasn't clogged up with people who could actually buy I might have had a chance. I was lucky and got all available 8 for the first half of the season so I've got a few games left before I'm chasing to get tickets. At least with having 4+ tickets this year, next year will be easier!

16 Nov 2017 19:51:49
Chf60- they go on members sale again for each game, I have much more joy on the individual sales than the full member sales.

Cheggers-If they can’t but tickets it makes no odds to you, obviously people who where eligible got through, as they all sold out, also having 4+ really makes no difference other than being eligible for the better games, they are still a nightmare to get I’m afraid, you will need 13 for it to be a guarantee.

16 Nov 2017 21:24:53
I thought if you had 4+ it gave you access to all games 1 day earlier? I may be wrong, I was aware it opened up the so called better teams

Cheers.

17 Nov 2017 13:19:27
You are wrong pal, only early access to the ‘better games’ and it’s just as difficult and frustrating to get em. You need 13 to get early access to all the games. It used to be 18/ 19 before the new main stand.

17 Nov 2017 14:22:24
Cheers mate, I guess I was lucky enough to get the first half of the season!

16 Nov 2017 16:51:45
There’s a really good interview with King Kenny on the BBC sports page, regarding his recent film.
In case anyone is interested.

The Plane to Russia - An England perspective

16 Nov 2017 16:44:11
{Ed's Note - we have posted a new article entitled, The Plane to Russia - An England perspective

Believable5 Unbelievable2

16 Nov 2017 17:40:42
Is it appropriate to comment on this story here? If so.

MK, always enjoy reading your opinions and I've been desperate to talk about the England squad. A few points.

I think it's highly unlikely that Solanke will go to the world cup. He hasn't done enough to earn his place yet and he's not going to get a call to ahead of a guy he's behind at club level. He's turn will come in four years. I think he played on Tuesday for the experience rather than any real consideration of using him competitively. Similarly Abraham, he's not an England player yet.

Pretty much agree with your thoughts about AMs but on DMs and Wilshire; if he gets back in the Arsenal team he'll go. Whatever his temperment he's our most talented midfielder.

In defence I haven't got much else to add except I'd be shocked if Trippier doesn't go, he has been excellent and it would be crazy not to have him as an option, especially with Kane leading the line.

Other than that I think you've got the rest about right.

16 Nov 2017 18:19:27
Cheers Putney. Fair comments mate.

My reasoning behind picking Solanke and Tammy is that Kane and Rashford will play regardless. So I'd rather have the young lads in the squad getting experience than Vardy or Sturridge. Plus they will play without fear which is always a bonus. Vardy and Sturridge won't start and other nothing off the bench, so i see no point in them going.

Really hope you're wrong on Wilshere though!

I agree Trippier should go, but i just don't see him getting picked to be honest. You make a great point regarding his chemistry with Harry Kane by the way. Hopefully Southgate agrees.

16 Nov 2017 18:20:14
Most of that made sense then you wrote something about wilshire being the most talented English midfielder. I'm truly stunned by that comment I really am.

16 Nov 2017 22:49:53
p1, you think Livermore, Dier, winks, even Henderson, can do what Wilshire is capable of? They all have their strengths and may be more effective because of their professionalism and work rate but none can match Wilshire on talent.

MK, I get your point on the strikers but, a, you undersell Studge and Vardy, and, B, taking those two would be the equivalent of taking Walcott, they're not ready. Vardy will go unless injured and Studge will most likely be the fourth.

17 Nov 2017 08:04:49
Putney, the problem with Wilshere is he doesn't apply his talent. He has a great touch, decent dribbling skills and an okay passing range. If he just played as a giver and receiver to help play out of trouble, he'd be a decent player.

For some reason though, he thinks he is Gazza. He doesn't just make the space to pass and do it, he tries to do more than he is capable of (because he believes his own hype) and usually takes a heavy touch which leads to a 50/ 50 collision (usually resulting in injury for him) or him losing the ball.

That is if he is playing well! If he is playing poorly, he is literally just a passenger, only on the pitch to give away silly free kicks and try and get himself sent off.

All of his problems are in his head. If he would just apply his talents he could be a neat little midfielder in the Joe Allen mould. Unfortunately, Wilshere has been told from 17 years old that he is world class and he now believes that. Even fully fit and playing to the absolute best of his abilities, he would only be a good player. He's 25 though and hasn't proven he can do either of those things.

16 Nov 2017 14:25:15
Good afternoon ed002

I hope your well mate and im sorry to ask but, are you still looking at doing the Sharkopods today at all?

16 Nov 2017 14:33:49
MK to the editor panel is like Henderson to the editor panel. I and Ed025 would have a hard time on the page 😆😆😆. He will cross everything I post 😄😄😄. I need help. Where is Ed025. Please god bring him here!

{Ed001's Note - don't worry it is not MKS Harry, in fact Ed333 thinks we should put up the link to the podcast you appeared on for those that missed out. He is a big fan of yours. In fact he was a little upset there were no posts of yours about last night as he was hoping to get the opportunity to talk to you. So please feel free to keep him company on the graveyard shift, he would love it.}

16 Nov 2017 14:42:42
Oh my god 😄😄😄. It has to be Negative Red Walter then 🤗🤗🤗. Ed333 likes to hear the truth 😄😄😄. Ed333 is already a legend 😎😎😎.

{Ed001's Note - nope not neg, someone far less intelligent than that. I think you might have made a typo there or a mistake in your English, it is spell bell not leg..... ;-)

17 Nov 2017 22:53:21
Hey Harry hope your well. Not had time to read your comments until now. Hope you are well.
Let's get you on another pod cast please.
Thanks edd 2 for the new podcast will listen tomorrow looking forward to it.

Hi all, I need to get tickets for the Arsenal game on the 22nd Dec. My usual sources are not able to come good. Does anybody have any trusted avenues? Please do share if so?

Believable0 Unbelievable2

16 Nov 2017 21:21:13
Try Aj Jones on face book, he seems a genuine guy,

16 Nov 2017 08:49:14
Regarding Perr Schuurs, it looks pretty much a given that he will sign for us now.

He turns 18 at the end of this Month so we can then sign him straight to a pro-contract in January.

I really hope we don't make the same mistake we made with Thiago Ilori! We have to send Schuurs back there on loan. He is playing senior football (albeit not in a great league) . Just being in a game which is competitive will help him learn though.

Unless he is going straight into the match day squad, leave him where he is to develop!

Believable5 Unbelievable6

16 Nov 2017 10:44:59
Who/ what position is he? Never heard about him but agree with the sentiment.

{Ed002's Note - A centre back.}

16 Nov 2017 10:48:50
Is he any good mk?

16 Nov 2017 10:51:22
Excuse my ignorance MK but are we almost nailed on to sign Schuurs? He looks a talent and seems to have the game intelligence and strength beyond his years already captained his side at 17. As you said if managed right and with right attitude he looks a huge prospect.

16 Nov 2017 11:33:01
Mk why do you say it looks pretty much a given thing he will sign mate please?

At that age he obviously won't be ready to step in now.

16 Nov 2017 13:23:27
He has been playing in Fortuna Sittard's first team at 17.

16 Nov 2017 17:10:43
He has had successful trials at Liverpool already and Liverpool want to make a permanent move for him.

The player is interested, Liverpool want a deal, and his club must be okay with it to allow him to have a trial.

It looks like it's only Liverpool who can screw this up from here. Though i wouldn't entirely rule that out 😂.

16 nov 2017 05:10:10
Hello Red’s and fellow ed's. I just wanted to introduce myself as a newbie editor. I’m here temporarily until they find someone better, which won't be long, so savour me while you can. I’m a lifelong liverpool fan who idolised kenny growing up and i still do. I’m all about the banter so bring it on.

16 Nov 2017 05:53:46
333? You 50% devil? We don't take kindly to red devils in these parts 😉.

{Ed0333's Note - love it MK. I won’t mention my season ticket at the Stretford End at this juncture then mate. By the way your articles are a real pleasure to read, keep up the good work mate

16 Nov 2017 06:33:11
You’re not fooling anyone MK. We know you’re 333 really.

16 Nov 2017 06:50:41
Bit more personal info would be nice 333. I don't mean weight and eye colour, but we often don't know a lot about the Eds. I also grew up watching Kenny and had the pleasure of meeting him a few times. The first time was when I was going out with a girl who babysat their first couple of kids. Kenny and Marina came home one evening to find me sitting on their couch looking sheepish. "Who are you son? " Err, I'm nobody I said.

16 Nov 2017 06:54:05
nice one stoneage.

16 Nov 2017 07:00:56
I thought the same 🤔.

16 Nov 2017 08:17:49
Haha, it's just my slightly less attractive body double guys 😂

Cheers though Ed333, appreciate that mate.

16 Nov 2017 10:54:08
Welcome Ed333 and thanks for offering you're time we appreciate all the Eds for this.

16 Nov 2017 12:12:14
Is your first name Adam Ed?

{Ed033's Note - i think Prince of Eternia is more appropriate.

16 Nov 2017 13:52:55
Haha, glad I am not the only one to think ed333 is MK. Well deserved if so.

16 Nov 2017 17:11:42
It's seriously not me 😂 i just write articles and then retreat into my hole 😂.

16 Nov 2017 17:29:04
Who’s your team Ed 333 and welcome.

{Ed002's Note - See if you can find someone to read the original post to you.}

16 Nov 2017 19:22:56
Ed001 Robinho and Diego both turned out to have terrible attitudes. both were touted as potential world beaters when they were at santos.

{Ed001's Note - no idea why, I saw both a few times there and they were just nothing special at all. Brazilian football was in a terrible state at the time and anyone with even a modicum of talent was overhyped.}

16 Nov 2017 09:29:19
Have you been a poster on here as well ed333?

{Ed0333's Note - I’ve been posting on the site for ions now Mikey. I’m certain I had no greys hairs when I first stumbled upon these fabled pages. I’ve had my fair share of tantrums on here and outbursts that nearly got me banned. I lived through the debacle that was Roy Hodgson and the PR machine that was Brendan Rogers. I’ve laughed and cried with peoples posts and I couldn’t begin to tell you how many times a day I log on to get my fix and that includes 2 or 3 times in the middle of the night. But throughout it all I’ve never had as many usernames as Harry!

15 Nov 2017 23:02:43
Ed 001 what was your opinion of Robinho? He was massive at one point then just disappeared was weird.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed001's Note - terrible attitude, overrated player. He was nothing special but hyped like he was going to sweep all before him. Never understood it.}

16 Nov 2017 05:59:10
Seemed to have all the skill and talent in the world but didn't want to work for it.

16 Nov 2017 06:53:01
Didn't he sign for City thinking he was signing for Utd?

16 Nov 2017 06:58:53
Was more of a showboat, lesser as a football player.

16 Nov 2017 08:29:57
I remember the good old days when City spent about £200m on Jo, Robinho, Lescott, Barry, Milner and Roque Santa Cruz!

Mark Hughes was hilarious sometimes.

16 Nov 2017 10:46:50
I remember Hughes discussing the transfers of Santa Cruz and Torres and telling us all confidently 'I know who I'd rather have in my time'. Yep, so did we Marky!

16 Nov 2017 13:24:46
Hughes is an idiot of the highest order. How he keeps getting jobs is beyond reasonable logic.
