I reckon TAA and Woodburn are going to get a healthy shot of football next season. They are two of our most promising academy youngsters so far this season and working their socks off. Next season, should we qualify for CL will give them the perfect opportunity to break into the first team squad on a permanent basis.

Even play them in the Europe leauge and Harry Wilson.

16 Feb 2017 22:47:22
I've seen nothing from Clyne that tells me why he starts over TAA now - TAA fits our system much better.

16 Feb 2017 23:39:20
Europa league? We won't be in that next season.

17 Feb 2017 00:21:18
Would love to see TAA get a little run in the team but not replace clyne just yet, break him in gently.

17 Feb 2017 03:27:56
The next time we play against a Europa League team will be in the Super Cup in 2018.

Try champions league!

Hey eds. for ed001 of he's around
Whats your view on yan dhanda? Is he regarded highly enough in the academy to make it to the first team?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - he is very highly regarded and is making good progress, but he is not yet ready for the first team.}

17 Feb 2017 11:11:50
I was actually excited to see him going with the first team to La Manga.
I hope he just keeps his head down, work hard and climb the ladder .

Ed 1 or 2, do you think we will attempt to sign Jonathan Tah in the summer? Cheers in advance.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - No.}

16 Feb 2017 23:02:14
Tah for the reply 😉

{Ed002's Note - We cannot spend our time answering questions about random players you think of.}

17 Feb 2017 10:21:05
Thanks very much!

16 Feb 2017 11:03:56
How to I get to the sharkopod?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - There was one Liverpool specific Sharkopod, there were some final day Sharkopods (one with a Klipperty interview) and a bunch for other clubs. Perhaps Ed033 put them all in the same place. I would search on the word Sharkopod and hope you can find them - if not then let me know.}

A question for ed01 it seems we have a real conveyor belt of talent coming through our youth system. I wanted to know how much of it is down to the restructuring benitez done of the youth system all those years ago.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

{Ed001's Note - pretty much all of it.}

16 Feb 2017 05:06:02
Fantastic i guess you could say it is benitez's lasting legacy.

{Ed001's Note - one of. He has had a number on Merseyside as a whole that are far more important. The best thing he ever did was bring his family to Liverpool, as Montse has done so much for the city. If anyone deserves legendary status within the city, it is the Benitez family. Forget the football, the work they do for charities etc is immense.}

it's nice to hear stuff like this ed.

16 Feb 2017 08:39:26
Fantastic family, huge respect to them.

16 Feb 2017 09:36:56
Rafa still loves the club and easily inside the best tacticians in clubs history. During his time he had a brilliant core of staffs around him who were simply the best. His family still lives in merseyside and I do remember him applauded and crying in one of the Hillsborough memorial Day.

16 Feb 2017 10:48:11
Loved rafa like ed say the hole fam love liverpool. Also u wouldn't see jose or pep drop down a league like he has legeand.

16 Feb 2017 11:55:51
Would you ever have Rafa back one day ed?

{Ed001's Note - not as manager no.}

16 Feb 2017 14:14:26
If it wasn't for Klopp. I'd love to see rafa back but that won't happen. I love the man but I believe Klopp is by far the better man to manage our club.

16 Feb 2017 16:20:14
I wouldn't, LFC16. His time is gone and it should stay that way. As for what he and his fam did for the club and the community, he deserves the credit. It shows that a true gentleman cannot be found on the pitch where the cameras are on. It is when no one is there to see the great things that they do off the pitch that they can be judged and Rafa and his fam passed that test swimmingly.

16 Feb 2017 18:09:19
For all the good things Rafa and the Benitez family has done, I still can't quite forgive him for selling Xabi Alonso.

16 Feb 2017 22:13:52
Good old Rafa, brought some great memories but also put his nose in where it did not belong. In the end, he was to keen on getting involved in politics, like he has at every club he has managed at. Leopard does not change its spots. Except at Chelsea where he was like a pawn.

Around the dinner table he probably will be the most humble guy you can find but I would definitely not want to see him back managing Liverpool. His time had come and gone which ended up being the better for Liverpool.

17 Feb 2017 01:26:22
Not in a million years, Max. Rafa is history and should stay there.
