I am from Preston we all were flat caps their and race our whippets.And weather the Merseyside thing did it for you or not,frankly i dont give a s**te,you wont get the smile off my face with Lancashire winning the Championship,belive me i wasn't asse licking. If Lancs had won wherever they played i'd still be as happy as i am now. Jonson6

Red@Blue YNWA72, Ye re of teams we support, we both have Liverpool in our heart as well and even if you wasn't a Liverpool fan. Its out of order that anti Rangers stitch up posts are coming on. Like i said in my previous post one of the posters got talked to much s**t about K.K and the spelling and just had blag post all over it. Its wrong mate, i do have Celtic as my second team but Celtic fans dont have a monopoly on being the fans that are closest to Liverpool. Other teams fans, such as Rangers fans, have every right as well. If their have been a dodgy posts sent from true Rangers fans its a lot fewer if any then Celtic ones. And i support em. I'll be cheering when if we bag against ya mate. But stitch up crap, not my cup of tea mate. Never said good luck to a Rangers fan before, but i'll say it this once just let me take a deep breath first. Good luck on Sunday. Jonson6

Ed know anything of stevies return vs spurs
starter, bench or not at all? {Ed002's Note - Nothing I am afraid.}

had a correspondance lastnight with Ed no 2 ( i think ) last night regarding my post about Nathan Eccelstone . ive just checked to see if anyone responded and its been removed. this is confusing, unnerving. i would appreciate an explanation. thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I am afraid I cannot help you. But it really need not be unnerving.}

Reading Kenny's comments on the official website makes me realise how lucky we are to have him. Everything he says is honest, respectful to other clubs and managers, and he never slags off referees. How many other supporters can say that about their managers?
Kenny2

I can so far about chris hughton. he has had a load of problems from the boards finances and losing a shed load of players but he has remained dignified all the way through it.

GMN

Fair point, he is arguably the manager who would have the most reasons to complain given the treatment he received from Mike Ashley. If everyone acted in this respectful manner it would make the game a whole lot better, and I hate to see referees slaughtered, it's not like they go out to intentionally make bad decisions, managers who question their decisions should be forced to serve a touchline ban. A fine and a slap on the wrist isn't enough. Kenny2

Andy Carroll will not diminish under the harsh pressure directed towards him by some of the Liverpool fans. He will be a massively useful player for Liverpool as the season progresses. Without Carroll, Liverpool would be light up front, his presence in the Liverpool squad means that we are not short of attacking options which in itself generates a confidence within the team.

I really feel for the guy, if he had come in for maybe £15m (or even £20m) he'd be loved much more. It's that absurd figure of £35m that piles a massive amount of pressure on him, especially when people compare his figure to the £23m Suarez came in for.

Agreed. His price tag isn't helping him at all. Hope, we can be at his back, after all he is a Liverpool player. Hope, he comes good soon. YNWA

Can I ask any Eds who support LFC what your views are on Andy Carroll.... I mean there is a lot of people out there who really dislike him and some there who are in favour of him. I just would find it interesting to see your views on it....

Personally, I think he is a good player and has potential to be a great player. I do not think he was worth £35m and I don't think he ever will be worth £35m.

However, the more and more games we play in which I fail to see him score or in fact benefit the team in any way, the less I am liking him. I did rate him from the start and got behind him despite all the criticism. But he just seems a bit lazy and hasn't really done much for us....

Hope he proves us all wrong and has a great season.

Your views Eds?! {Ed009's Note - Straight off the bat: of course he was not worth 35 million. We have to forget the fee and move on, because he was bought as little more than a 15 million pound player. That aside I do believe he has the makings of a very good player. He is strong, he is tall, he can finish well but most of all he is driven to succeed, for our club no less. I don't know whether his drinking will always be the problem it arguably is today, but I would guess not - we all grow up at some point or another, don't we? He will not work against every team in the Premier League but against those with weak back fours he will terrorise the hell out of them as soon as Kenny gets him to his best. That is my opinion.}

He could be a good player one day for us. Nothing more. He will never be worth the price we paid in my opinion. I just don't see out style of play ever getting the best out of him sadly. It suits us to play the ball on the ground and that won't change.

Ash

I think the fee sometimes will effect the player's performances or people will expect a lot more from the player and will get disappointed very quickly when they do not perform well. I think a similar thing has happened at United with Berbatov. He hasn't been atrocious, he has scored 60 odd goals in three years, sh1tloads of assists and even a hat-trick against you guys, but I think his fee has probably damaged his United career. I think the same could happen to Carroll.

If United had signed Berbs for £15m, everyone would love him at the club.

Sydney!

I think it's safe to say that most, if not all, Liverpool fans don't have much time for Judas Torres. We were on such a high for a few hours after signing Suarez and his transfer request shattered that. I think it's also safe to say that we don't want him to succeed at Chavski and we want to show that we can manage perfectly well without him.

In that case, what would be better than seeing his direct replacement make us forget all about him? So it amazes me that so many on here are quick to slag off Andy Carroll before he is even fully fit, before he has got used to the style of play and after he has given us a glimpse of what he can do (2 goals against City). To those who keep moaning about the £35 million he cost I'll say 5 things: 1. It's not your money so stop worrying about it. 2. If we hadn't spent it and not signed any replacement for Torres you'd be moaning about the Owners being tight. 3. Carroll never set the transfer fee himself. 4. Kenny thought it was worth paying. 5. If you're not capable of supporting ALL of the lads in red, don't bother boring the rest of us with your moaning.

Carroll is just like any other human being and we all respond to positive comments. The best way to get him firing is to make him feel wanted and support him as much as possible. That's what the true Liverpool supporters are doing and will continue to do.

redmersey

Agree with redmersey, hope he listens to lucas, cuz that lad took some stick and has come through it all with dignity and showing great form.

redgaz

Agreed, I hope people can get over it soon. We aren't the type of club that slags its players, even disasters like Erik Meijer were supported for their efforts, but of course the problem is that fee, but why are supporters worried about that? Be glad we had £35 million to spend, something we wouldn't have had under G&H who would have pocketed the Torres money instead. {Ed002's Note - Perhaps H&G deserve more credit than that - they could have sold Torres before the club was sold last year and used the money to pay down the debt (there only real way of "pocketing" it) - but they didn't.}

Redgaz in lower case why dont you get your own name on this page just as did with the original REDGAZ over a year ago!

signed

REDGAZ

Ed. The way the board was set up, H&G could not sell Torres unles the others agreed.

Pacheco on loan for what reason not even in squad for tonights match obviosly not good enough

Didn't know Rayo Vallecano were playing tonight.

John B

Not a Liverpool player anymore, signed for Atletico Madrid and then loaned to Rayo Vallerano (sp).

dmedly

Think you'll find he is still a Liverpool player, on loan to AM, who immediately loaned him to RV, must be a deal in place for permanent move at some time to AM.

Out of the Old Firm teams in Scotland, i'm defo up for Celtic everytime they play. Against Rangers or anyone else. But it pains me to say it but i just read a few posts and they stick out like at least on 2 they seem to me that their Celtic fans staring the pot posing as Rangers fans. I hope Celtic give em a good hiding on Sunday but its out of order just stairing s**t for everyone to become anti Rangers because of what i along with an earlier Rangers fan think its a Celtic fan posing as a Rangers one. Spell k.k's surname wrong on purpose, say McCoist is a great manager when he's just starting out,the Celtic fans rip John Barnes as much if not more then the Rangers fans. Things like that to make it looks like a Rangers fan but i'd stake my last pound thats a Celtic fan laughing his sad head off i'm sorry to say. Jonson6 {Ed002's Note - I deleted the last sentence as I did not understand the words used. I thought for a while it may have been a series of typos induced by some sort of seizure on your behalf. Then I thought that given your doctrinaire for sliding abusive terms in, I figured it was some ancient tongue you were using in a, albeit humorous but, rather naughty manner. Best to be safe.}

I've got to disagree with you jonson6 but only on the team. I agree with you that it's Celtic so called fans that posted that stuff. As for another post I seen about this guy or girl by the name of timloy. I've read posts on the mancs page with him and it's not pleasant reading for us (WORTH A WATCHING). My support goes for RANGERS on Sunday.

So my question to Ed002 is unworthy of a reply? it was just a simple question no badness or swear word's just a simple question! WHY NOT! Alphared {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are bleating about now. What is your problem? Why type "Why Not" in capital letters?}

Ha, some people on this site really do love throwing their toys out the pram, I feel for you Eds..

Because i posted 2 relevant post's earlier concerning our Anthem YNWA i posted afew truth's and your use of a word that i found inappropriate! you never put them post's up! i then asked why not! you did'nt answer that post! so that's my problem! now you'll tell me that you did'nt get the post's i sent! which you and i now is BS! i think it's you who has the problem! look at your reply to my last post! what are you bleating about now? what is your problem? you knew exactly what had gone on! with the post's i wrote! putting you and the sweaty sock in your place's! Alphared {Ed002's Note - You are a complete cretin. My wife and I went out to eat around five and then came back about 30 minutes ago. You sit there dribbling abuse and nonsense over your keyboard. I thought the Liverpool fans could accept some banter with that good old "Scouse" humour - seemingly that gene never took with you. So to answer you childish bleatings: (1) I was in a restaurant in Windsor, so you are correct I never put the posts up. (2) I have never said I did not get the posts - I was in a restaurant in Windsor. (3) You may "now" it is true, but I certainly don't "know" that. I was in a restaurant in Windsor – I thoroughly recommend the sea bass. (4) I did not know what had gone on as I was in a restaurant in Windsor whilst you seemingly had started to have seizures and panic because I was not there to wipe up the slimy trail you leave behind you.}

I'm quite partial to a bit of Sea Bass, grilled or fried?

dmedly {Ed002's Note - It was lightly grilled with some crushed potato and edamame beans. My wife thought the lamb just a touch over done.}

Personally I love Bass but I hate it being referred to as sea Bass. It never was sea Bass until a few restauranteurs decided that they would rebranded it and over price it. (sorry for the moan but it's one of my pet hates)

Chris in Tamworth {Ed002's Note - I guess it was to distinguish it from river bass - no more than that.}

Yeah sorry Ed but we don't have and never have had river Bass. It is akin to calling a Cod, sea Cod. It is just unnecessary

Chris in Tamworth {Ed002's Note - River bass exist in the US and CAnada if not Tamworth. Personally I won't lose sleep over it Chris.}

Probably some sort of conspiracy...maybe the Illuminati changed the name due to pressure from the aliens Chris?

dmedly

Dmedley, now you've really got me thinking!

Chris in Tamworth

I like Shandy Bass :-)

Matt S - YNWA

Ed I'm well aware that there is more than one type of Bass in the US and Canada however in the UK there is not nor had there ever been. I know it's petty but as I said it's one of my pet hates (I'm not alone nearly all sea anglers feel the same way) it's just annoying that a fish has been hijacked by greedy bloody restauranteurs!
It really winds me up and I do try to let people know that actually the Bass is not called sea Bass
(try not to get too upset with me Ed)

Chris in Tamworth {Ed002's Note - If I were to fund the introduction of the river bass would that solve your issue Chris?}

This truly is what makes this website so brilliant. I've been waning recently with all the childish slagging of players, Kenny and just about anyone who kicked a ball at the Britannia.

This post summed up the petulant rant so common on here, then it was swiftly turned into a quality seafood suggestion site.

Fair play all involved.

Papa G

Sorry i took so long answering the fishy post from tit002! you say that you and your unfortunate wife went for dinner at around 5pm i sent my 1st post alot earlier than then! you also say that you thought that us scouser's could take some banter! but you never replied to me with that so called banter! you were replying to a Celtic or Ranger's fan when you used the word stolen! while you was having your fish dinner why were'nt the post's put up as they usually are? and what is it that you certainly dont "know"? seizure's and panic get real tit002! i cant understand why your even on this page as you know f**K all about LFC except that you want all our player's being a Chavski fan! why i took so long replying to your abusive post is that i took my nearest and dearest to see off the QM2! Alphared {Ed001's Note - sorry lad, but the only tit is you, go elsewhere in future, you are an embarrassment and a bitter little fool.}

There is an easier way Ed, just call them Bass and always ask the waiter in any restaurant serving "sea Bass" to explain to you why they are called sea Bass. When he stumbles his way through some ridiculous explanation ask him if the beef on the menu is from a field cow!
(by the way if you've got that much money to spare I'm looking for an investor in a new business opportunity if you fancy it)

Chris in Tamworth

So disapointed, i thought the ed was a girl

I guess that's it for Alphared on here. Cheerio - you won't be missed.

Anyone ever had the Land Bass?

Bass how low can you go ? ...

Land Bass comes in a pint glass

Cuchulainn's Hounds {Ed007's Note - I see 001 and 002 have upset Alf. They are a pair of scamps at times! Bit of advice lads, if you are ever in Glasgow don't ask for or call anything 'Bass', you are questioning parentage! Our fish comes in paper anyway!}

Ed 007, In Glasgow they'd deep fat fry the fish, the paper it's wrapped in and the can of Irn Bru that goes with it. I love a good fish supper!

Cuchulainn's Hounds {Ed007's Note - Then Harry Ramsden's franchises a 'chippy'?? Any Scots chip shop can do it better than that.}

liverpool players are fined a weeks wages for a yellow card and 2 weeks wages for a red card this is the reason meireles left liverpool,he had a poor disipline record.Liverpools argument that he wanted to leave are lies,they wanted him out as he was the main culprit for costing liverpool a place in the uefa cup through the fair play league.This season liverpool are determind to make it onto channel 5 next season by beating fulham to the fair play cup,also heard a rumour john barnes is coming in as kennys number2 ,the celtic legends will then change there names to paul and barry after the chuckle brothers,joeyored {Ed007's Note - Now you come to mention it, is C*****e A**m LFC's Berkovic? £5.75 million we paid for him as well!}

Took from the man utd page. Just to let you all how the Celtic fans and Ed think of you. Can't even type Charlie Adams name. That is the Celtic Ed that replied to the post. How sad are they all? Just because the boy played for Rangers.

when we played footie as kids the lad who owned the ball took all the free kicks and corners if not he would pick up his ball and end the game,my question is when gerrard returns will he take all free kicks etc(I always thought he would be better nodding them in)or will he scoop up the ball and bolt down the tunnel if that job is delegated to somebody else.

For me him to take free kicks but not coners, he is a very good header of the ball.

I juz got on the site and for a moment thought I was on a rangers/celtics page.

Nice to know Liverpool is so big that even rangers/celtics/manc/chelski fans cannot resist coming on to the Reds page.

Either that or their pages are like their teams-not worth the effort.(ooh, my 1st insult here!)

Good to know there are THREE Singapore-based Reds here. Wasup, keith and singred! Haha

And i'm pretty sure stevie won't start on sunday. If things go our way, he may not even play at all. Think kenny won't risk playing him unless we really have to cos he juz came back from such a long injury layoff.

But we should be able to handle spurs even if he doesn't play.

Let's slowly get him into shape and not risk any recurrence. Slowly nurse him back into fitness and form.

Then when october 15 comes around, we can shut the mancs up with a Reds team that includes a fully fit stevie leading the lads out.

I wish liverpool would get cavani...he is a lot more mobile than carroll and around the same size. Highly unlikely though so i wish that carroll would hit some form at 35 mil results are kinda expected now even though he is young..but then again so is aguero

Talk about having one eye on weekend match I think harry has both.
It also shows that harry knows we will come hard at him.

A bit off beat Eds. But Lancashire need a big pat on the back for fighting like a cornered tiger to finally win the country championship. Played most games in Liverpool bar Southport and Blackpool. None at their head quarters in Manchester. Hampshire deserve respect for not folding after knowing they were confirmed that they'd been relegated last night. Play in Manchester,win nowt for 77 years. Play in Liverpool win the title with local lads team work and support from the fans. I appreciate that all Liverpool fans dont give a flying feck about cricket and Lancs but i'm sure der's a good few on here are as pleased as me. Jonson6 {Ed003's Note - It's fantastic news Jonson6, but we do have a cricket page now, http://www.talk-cricket.co.uk/ }

Apparently Jonson6 it's rains a lot more often at Old Trafford than at Liverpool, meaning too many non finishes/draws in the past

All you need is your flat cap and you're sorted lad. The Lancashire thing on Merseyside doesn't do it for me.

To all the Liverpool fans, This was a Celtic fan that started all this rubbish making out he's a Rangers fan. Don't get took in by them. They do it all the time on the Rangers page. Timalloy is the biggest culprit. Always going on for his love for Celtic/man utd.

The Celtic fans copied Liverpool with YNWA.
They copied Everton with the song it's a grand old team to play for.
They copied Man city fans with the Poznan.
They sing a song sung by the Saturday's called just can't get enough LMAO.
The Rangers fans sing it back to them with the words.

When I see you Celtic I think of RUNNERS UP. Your just NOT good enough, your just not good enough. Lmao.

The only way Celtic are in the Europa cup is through the back door. They have a cheek slagging you'd of with your teams history.

Rangers/Liverpool till I die.
Rabthebear

I'm sure Rangers would have accepted European football if the other side had broken the rules. Sion broke the rules knowing they were doing so and were punished so it's not surprising they were thrown out. Not exactly the back door.

Bitter, are you?

Reply to bitter are you. I'm a lager drinker what about yourself?

Do you forget about the support that Celtic football club send to the Hillsbrough anniversary day at Anfield every year? I thought not - that's probably to do with the fact that half you lazy b******s don't even turn up. Thats the link with the clubs and what a thoughtful gesture that is when many people still sneer. Remember, if you refer to Kenny as the 'king', consider that the Celtic fans too worshipped him - and a little respect is due regardless of the colour you support.

"There are lots of things for everybody to be happy about. The supporters, the staff, the players - everybody. As we always say, if we stick together we are going to be a formidable unit"

So come on, less of the negative comments and stop criticising the players. Lets try and be positive for the next 8-months and see where it takes us.

Ed002, I just wanted to say Celtic and Liverpool fans have a great affinity, who cares who sang YNWA first, when you get Anfield or Celtic Park all singing it your hairs on the back of your hairs stand up. Some idiots have come on today to stir things up, dont let them Celtic/Liverpool YNWA Timalloy {Ed002's Note - I don't care who sang it first, I was simply pointing out to a poster that it is an American song stolen by British football teams.}

I could not agree more. I am extremely proud of the affinity between Liverpool and Celtic. Long may the bond continue.

Timalloy your on the man utd page going on about how much you love them and your own team then go on the Liverpool page and talk about great affinity. Lmao. What are you trying to get out of this? You can not be trusted.

So Gerry and the pacemaker's stole that song ED? that's who we took our Anthem off! And Liverpool did sing it 1st Celtic adopted it after the Hillsborough memorial match! Gerry has sung his rendition of the song at the match on several occasion's! when the song is sung 90% of people world wide associate LFC to that song! your use of the the word "stole" is very inappropriate! Alphared {Ed002's Note - You simply have to such it up. I simply corrected an assertion made by another poster. The song comes from Carousel at some point in the 40s. Suck it up and live with it.}

Which posts are you referring to mate?

Cos hes class and Englands next right back
SteLFC

Coz he's an extremely good player! why who's asking? Alphared

Cause he is a BIG guy

Englands next right back? fat chance with the likes of smalling and jones coming through the ranks at england!

plus he's just another youth player that liverpool are gonna ruin the career of.

Local lad, so fans do tend to exaggerate his ability slightly. But he is decent - when he can stay fit.

If Martin Kelly wasn't so injury prone, he would have already broken into the England set up. He is clearly as talented if not more talented than Jones and Smalling. Once he's over his injury issues, the press will be creaming their pants with excitement over him, like they have been with Jones and Smalling.

was just wondering with gerrard close to match fitness, where will he be playing, i think henderson may be dropped if we play a 4-5-1 formation but i think suarez plays better with someone up top with him, great page though

Team when Gerrard is fit again

4-2-3-1

Reina
Kelly/Johnson, Agger, Carra/Coates Enrique
Gerrard Lucas
Kuyt Suarez Downing
Carroll

Gerrard will be on the bench if fit.
he wont be anywere near match fitness after being out for so long.
king kenny is not one for big names, reputations, or egos. steve will have to fight to get back into the team. hes not going to drop players who are playing well.
when fully fit i would expect him playing behind the striker again. that was his best position.
something like this 4-5-1
===========reina==========
kelly==carra====agger==enrique
==========lucas===========
kuyt===adam=========downing
=============gerrard=======
========suarez============

thats my starting 11 for now.

however this is what i wanna see by the end of this season.

=========riena===========
kelly==coates==agger===enrique
========lucas===gerrard====
henderson===========downing
=========suarez===========
==========carroll==========

whats everyone think?

MIKEY

I just dream of a team without Carragher, a team without carragher, a team without Carragher.

My 1st 11 if everyone is fit,

.................reina
johnson, skrtel, agger, enrique
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,lucas
..........gerrard.....adam
downing.....................bellamy
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,suarez

451 in defence but a 4231 in attack with gerrard in the middle of downing and bellamy.

tell me thats not our strongest line-up!

Reina
Kelly Carra Agger Enrique
Gerrard Lucas Adam Downing
Suarez Carroll

Reina
Johnson Carra Agger Enrique

rangers are sh*te Liverpool are sh*te two biggest clubs in Britain the Mighty Glasgow Celtic and the Mighty Manchester united the first two British teams to win the European Cup and as for You Will Never Walk Alone Celtic song that the scousers stole the one thing they are famous for stealing lol

YNWA 1888

I think you'll find You'll never walk alone wasn't written and song by Gerry Marsden. A scouser and a Liverpool fan. You can't steal what's your own.

More importantly funny you should mention European cups as Liverpool have won more than Celtic and United combined.

Huyton Red {Ed002's Note - Even I know it is a Rodgers and Hammerstein song from the musical Carousel which will date from sometime in teh early 40s.}

Eds - is that really banter when a d*ckhead comes on this page and says our club is sh*te? Is this what you guys made this site for? How about some regulation before the banter pages degenerate even further. I know LFC fans are posting on other club pages as well but this sort of comment lacks humour or intellect and is downright offensive. If you see no problem with it then I guess I'll be over to the Mancs and the Chavs calling them and their clubs a bunch of f****** c**** 5 times a day.
Cmon raise the bar a little please

cozinoz {Ed002's Note - I am afraid that is unacceptable. We are not going to be threatened by you in to having to adapt the crap folks write as banter to something you deem acceptable. Personally I could do away with the banter completely, but we are stuck with it.}

But yet you add up uniteds and celtic seuropean cups and it still dont get to 5.
Getting thumped on home soil in the final must be so humiliating.

There is only one team to do better than to win ur poxy league and u fail miserably at that..and why u call urselves the Mighty Celtic..oh yea..cause u do so well in the C/L by reaching regular Quarter and Semi-Finals..piss of mate..If Celtic and Rangers where playin in my back garden..I would'nt open my blinds

atlfc70

Celtic 1 + united 3 = 4

Liverpool = 5

Work it out??? 1888

its simple AJW76

Most Celtic fans have more respect than this. When did Celtic fans actually start singing You'll Never Walk Alone? If you know your history, you'll know.

Your talking out your HOOP! We would of won the European cup 1st if we had'nt of been robbed in Italy! and how many time's you or that other team have won it? put together it's not more than us! Alphared

{Ed002's Note - We are done with this Celtic and Rangers "discussion" on the Liverpool page for now.}

I stand corrected ed. Must admit. My 1940's musical knowledge. Is somewhat lacking.

Huyton Red. {Ed002's Note - I guess it may be the early 50s. The point is that is an American anthem that has been stolen by a number of your soccer teams in Britain.}

That wasn't a threat, Ed - i was being facetious - but its interesting that some banter you deem to be acceptable and other is not (it is, of course, your site though). My point was that comments such as the original posters are merely abusive and bring the banter pages down. Sad to see a great site turn into a sh*tfight thats all.

cozinoz {Ed002's Note - I will accepta it as being facetious and you have a dumb moment. I agree in general that large portions of the banter are imply abuse. And it is fair to say that much does get cut but you will get different Editors letting some posts through that others would discard. It remains a case of having to suck it up and move on I am afraid.}

As a Liverpool fan I think that some Rangers fans are trying to get an argument going with us and Celtic.I've been up there a few times and the Celtic fans are all friendly towards us.Let's not forget the ties we have with Celtic over the years and would we want that shower from Rangers down here doing what they done in Manchester?Celtic fans are very welcome anytime but please god not that other mob of hate filled knuckledraggers.

Ash

In copa America Coates played along side the captain of the urugay team, lugana. A very similar player to cara.

He was in the squad for the concacaf conmebol the game in which they won against Costa Rica to qualify for the 2010 world cup 18 months ago.

Off the top of my head 3 of the squad were part of the national team that won the league and reached the final of the copa libadories (excuse my spelling)

I think they call that serving your ass on a plate with a side order of humble pie.

Huyton red. Keeping it real. {Ed002's Note - Uruguay are not members of CONCACAF but were simply involved as CONMEBOL side in a play off against a CONCACAF side.}

Thanks for the confirmation ed.

Huyton red

Right, so they were not part of the "Concaf cup" (which doesn't exist) squad which you claimed they were. Coates was actually part of a squad for a World Cup qualifying match in 2009. You might want to save some humble pie for yourself as you actually invented not only a territory, but a competition aswell. The Ed has confirmed that Costa Rica played Uruguay, not that there was a competition, as you claimed, called the "Concaf Cup." Also, I'm sure the 3 players Coates played with in the copa Libatores made all the difference to his performances in the Copa.

Chin up lad

Ash

Ash u r a funny numptie . But a dickhead. Your a manc?

Ah, the brave, insulting anonymous poster. Some things never change.

Ash

Ash your feebal reply is based on me spelling concacaf as concaf. Just lost what little respect I had for u. All the other readers are free to make there own minds up on what they think of the facts above and your previous comments.

Making yourself look more foolish. Ask ed002 I'm the first to hold my hands up when I'm wrong. But you can hold on to the fact your spelling/grammar of foreign words and anagrams are better than mine.

As it's a football forum I'll hold on to the fact my football knowledge is better than yours.

Huyton red

Ash the more I read your response the more pathetic it is. You said coates has never been in the uruguan squad before. I pointed out he had in 2009. You said he'd never played with any of the players before I pointed out 3 of them were in the same league winning team.

Your reply was I spelt concacaf concaf and that the players you said didn't exsist do but don't count.

I'd be embarrassed if I was u

Read the whole post you fool. That was not the reason. I'd be embarrassed you can't read if I was you.

Ash

Ash you make no sense. Your a joke. The qualifying game as you refer to it (which may I add your now admitting he was part of the squad despite earlier saying he'd never been in the squad before) is called the conmebol concacaf. Because I called it it concaf your saying I made up a territory and competition - because of a spelling error.

Shame on u.

Huyton red

I will happily admit he has been with the squad for a match before, not a cup competition which you claimed! There is a huge difference between being part of a tournament squad and being part of a one-off game you prat! THERE IS NO CONCACAF CUP which you claimed there was! Even spelt correctly THERE IS NO CONCACAF CUP! You never even mentioned CONMEBOL in your initial post!

Get over it for Gods sake!

Ash

Hi Eds what will happen to Nathan Eccleston over his twitter comments? Do you think the club will punish him? Will he be released contract cancelled or just loaned out? or just a slap on the wrist a fine or made to make an apology?
I don't think he is in kenny's first team plans anyway he didn't play in any preseason games and didn't even make the bench for the carling cup game.
Good young striker I hope the club doesn't release him as the club is owned by americans he's clearly not very intelligent should have kept his conspiracy theories to himself.

{Ed002's Note - The problem is not his views on the matter but his (a) lack of consideration, or perhaps respect, for the owners; (b) timing of his tweet; (c) stupidity in doing it at all. I have no idea of whether or not he will be punished but one can safely assume that at the very least someone will explain to him that his actions were inappropriate. There is a "Talk Conspiracy" page here now, perhaps he could sign up for that. Obviously I am an American by birth and whilst I have no particularly strong feelings that need to be aired, I did notice some significant ill-informed ramblings on the matter from posters and one of the Eds.}

Sack him and sack him now, person needs to made an example of. Daglish should outlaw all twitter accounts for LFC players , dont like then it then do a Raul and do one.

I noticed that from the ed as well ed002.
is he going to get a similar punishment to ecclestone? lol
the new conspiracy page is great by the way.

MIKEY {Ed002's Note - I will explain the error of his ways to him at some point.}

Why should all the LFC players be banned from using twitter cos one of them is a twit!
All the LFC staff that tweet interact with fans in a way no other generation of footballers has been able to, they chat and reply to folk, they answer questions, they help raise awareness of subjects close to our hearts like the HJC.. They keep us up to date with their injuries, FFS Suarez even announced the Coates deal before the press did!.. I love that i can get an insight in to LFC that id never of had previous to twitter.
One player said something stupid at the wrong time, he is a kid, he will learn from it.. Sacking him for having an opinion is a tad far fetched.. he needs educating and judging by some of the posts on here it would appear a lot of dimwits need educating about 9/11..
ItsNotRocketScience

I always thought the talkconspiracy website was made you Ed002.
Would like to read your views on the 9/11 truths/conspiracies.
I'm guessing the readers of the site would be less likely to throw abuse at you for having an opinion, than the Aguero mob!

dmedly {Ed002's Note - Thanks for the thought but perhaps I will step back from that. I had not thought until now that maybe we could start the threads such as "the real reason Aguero didn't join Liverpool" and "how Obama will stop Eden Hazard joining Liverpool in January" and get the truth out there. I know that I am not "authorised" to edit the "conspiracy" site - I guess ED001 (if that is her real name) knows that the truth hurts. I did give them links to web sites of a couple of old buddies of mine though, but I don't know if they put them up - or were too scared. (Cue Twighlight Zone theme and exit left).}

Thank you for the reply Ed002.

Obviously you've got one eye on the site and, I'm sure, welcome to post/reply if you so wish to said paranoid, sorry, conspiracy posts, even if Ed001 feels your not upto administering.
Though with some of the replies coming out of Ed033 you've got some competition on your hands.

dmedly

A poll on CNN some years after 9/11 stated that 80-90% of Americans thought 9/11 was an inside job (I can't remember was it 80% or 90%, check yourselves you lazy people). The idea is hardly controversial any more.

As for the illuminati nonsense however, that does not add up. (A silly, impressionable young man saw a shabby documentary and lapped it all up I reckon..... isn't that where they all come from?)

Back to footballing implications though. Kenny said that back in his day there were two rules in the LFC changing rooms (back when the club was well run - Kenny is trying to return it to that way of operating).

1. No religion and 2. No Politics.

Whatever we think about 9/11, or any other big political issues, an LFC player should shut up. It doesn't matter who is right or wrong. Mr Eccleston must recognise it is not his place to comment on such matters whilst he is under contract at LFC. He may offend - or even annoy someone, whether a team mate or a fan. (or a shareholder, as he may find out?!)

He's young. He'll learn. Unless the Yanks take a serious view of his comments. You never know what those crazy yanks will do after all! eh ed002!

Just imagine if they had tweets and mobile camera phones etc back when Souness and the boys were on the piss all week, now that would be controversial.

BJH YNWA

ps. I'm not under contract at LFC, so i'd like to add that it was CIA backed Saudi Wahhabists btw. I thought that much was already cleared up!? Has no-one been paying any attention........ now that is very strange........cue Twilight Zone music again.......

I can see why alot of peeps are on carra's case, but think about this...how many times has he saved us with a last minute slide/tackle compared to how many mistakes he's made? alot more in his favour than against. so the odd error is not liked, but accepted. i'm sure he's beaten himself up enough about them.

My point is simple, KK will know when the time is right. Any older Lfc fans will tell you Kenny never flinched when it came to making decisions - many unpopular - last time round...selling rush, aldridge, dropping Beardsley molby Mcmahon to name but a few.

On the face of it I don't think that time has come yet for carra, But it's obviously in KK's mind and he's planning for that day. Remember he recommended Wilson to rafa/woy and has just bought Coates. he's moved soto and ayala on as he thinks theyre not long term/good enough. what we do have now are 4 top cb's, plus wilson an Kelly who can fill in.

As for the spuds...why are we even getting in a state about it? We went to the Arse and won (granted understrength but still had arshavin, rvp, Walcott and Ramsey playing). outplayed bolton, stoke and sunderland (1st half then ran out of steam)

defensively in all of the 4 games we've never been in any real trouble as such and only for the errors (flano to far off larsson against sunderland, carra v bolton) plus the 50/50 pen at stoke, we've been pretty solid.

if we can cut out the internal errors defensively and also in attack, missing great chances to score (hendo,luis,adam,downing) we'll be fine.

As for playing 3 CB's on sun, I can see sense in that just like we did at chelski last season.

If Kelly/jonno are not fit, put Hendo as rwb with Enrique Lwb, carra agger skrtl as cb's, Adam Lucas in front of them. have bellers Suarez and downing up top. 5-4-1 defending, 3-4-3 going forward. you could start kuyt for bellers.

on the bench you'd have kuyt/bellers, maxi, coates, carroll, robbo, flano, even poss stevie which'd be great.

this can also switch to 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-1-1/4-1-4-1 with this team quite easily. and that is the key - adaptation. use your players in however the situation requires. spuds cannot do this with their team and only know one way to play..open, which will play straight into our plans.

Have no fear folks, trust Kk. In all games this year (since he's been in charge) we've played Pass n move footy and taken the game to the opposition. and i've got to say i've really enjoyed it.

you actually feel like you can win, whereas with woy (and rafa towards the end) you couldn't.

the 2 players who excite me the most are downing and of course suarez. downing is exactly what we've been after and reminds me alot of macca & digger barnes the way he gets the ball and can run at people. as for luis, he's like the king himself in making things happen, but better. all he needs to concentrate on is his finishing and he'll be amazing (as he's missed a few chances)

The spuds are there for the taking and if we play like we have over the last 4 games, we shud win comfortably.

the 1st test of where we're going will be after 10 games (plus carling cup).

on the carroll debate, i think he's not fully fit (like torres last year) and needs time to adjust to the way we play as totally different to Newcastle. he'll do ok once he has.

personally i prefer kuyt in that role but thats just my opinion, although i'd not have that type of player in my team at all as it slows the game down (remember when crouch was here).
carroll is a good player and i'm behind him 100% when he plays for us and i think we all need to have that mentality towards any liverpool player.

soz for long post :)
Sinner786

Great post Sinner M8 really sums up how i and probally most liverpools fans feel about the season so far keep the good posts cumin...

Quigz23

Thanks Quigz23 for your kind words

The thing is in society today everybody wants everything now, nobody wants to wait.
Take Carroll for example, was good at Newcastle but very raw. I remember watching him last year for U21's at Donny v Greece and to be honest he was ok at best. He had the odd moment but it wasn't his fault as the team played shocking, which included 8 top prem league players. That's what you get for putting stuart 'long ball' Pearce in charge huts another debate altogether!!
There were glimpses as he showed at Ncastle but he's still raw and needs time.

If I could suggest an option which we don't have that'd be a poacher in the Owen/Torres mold. Every team needs one and IMO that's the one thing we're 'missing'. Who that is I'm not quite sure...suggestions?

On the Torres debate raging these last few days, Kk wants players who first and firemost 'want' to play for us and it was clear that he'd made his mind up with Roy an wanted out. The wheels were in motion and he'd made his decision. He was wrong, as Luis was the perfect partner for...dropping off allowing him to stay high. They'd be great together. And I honestly believe he regrets it.

Would he come back - yes. Would we have him back - yes, as long as he acknowledges his error and accepts the will of the King. Anyone who says any different is kidding himself. He made a mistake but on his day he is lethal and on the whole he was brilliant for us. poss a cheeky Loan bid in Jan, stranger things have happened...

Back on track on sun lads....YNWA

Liverpool will finish 4th..we don't have enough creativity in attack without aquilani or merieles. Adam is an alonso 'want to be'. And Gerrard is getting old. Lucas can only tackle well and has Stamina.. that's it..I think we will sell caroll in two years time. But try get eden hazard in Jan.

Who is this joker, go support the bitter half,I suppose zidane was too old and all mascharano can do is tackle with stamina, take a hike bozo... Al YNWA

I would be more than happy with 4th.
Id have thought that's what the owners would be aiming for aswell.
The owners wanted rid of high earners who weren't playing which they have done.
Then start building a squad for the future.
Being realistic we were never going to challenge for the title this year , its about getting into the champs league again.
Which we will do.

Eds, what's the latest news on Gerrard? Is he likely

Will be by coach wont it?

Thats what im thinking.. but then Gatwick is 20 mins up the road so thought maybe they would fly down... In which case i can go to the airport with my camera and get some snaps!..
ItsNotRocketScience {Ed002's Note - Could be a charter in to Farnborough or perhaps somewhere in Kent. Can you fly Liverpool > Gatwick?}

Spacehoppers?

Cuchulainn's Hounds

I live 2 mins away from gatwick, but it wont happen

Im liking the spaehoppers idea. fantastic scope for some great pics there!..lol
Thanks Ed002.. I hadnt thought of that!

Just checked and Flybe comes in from Liverpool to Gatwick.. Now what time?..lol
ItsNotRocketScience {Ed002's Note - They run old Q400 props - will take as about as long as a space hopper. If the team fly it will likely be a charter.}

Ok.. so airport is prolly a no no.. will jst try and get to the ground early .. shame i couldnt get tickets for the game!..

watched ajax lyon lastnight,this Erikson is the new star in coming years,we should go and get him in januari.
if we were able to pay 18mil for henderson and 35mil for caroll it shouldnt be a problem.
what comolli said about the squad is nonsense,we dont have a strong squad at all.
we needed to sell the dead wood first and there is still deadwood too be sold before we will have a strong liverpool squad.
we bought what we needed for this year,but suarez is the only player we bought that will make the opposition worry.
we need 1 midfielder erikson
1 striker and winger

Shut it child. Go and support Chavski or Citeh. You have no clue what we are about.

IDIOT.

Hi im a liverpool fan of many many years,its nice to see somebody tell it as it is.

I posted this post,i am not upset and only a liverpool fan,we need to add worldclass players and we need to add the next generation of that class,that all i was saying Erikson is the best around.i know the owners will back us next windows.but henderson and caroll cost 53 mil between them.could have done better with that money.time will tell if i am wrong.i want the days of DAGLISH RUSH BARNES HANSEN SOUNESS ECT BACK.and the simple reason is because theywere all WORLDCLASS and thats why we were so good

Rangers fan here, why all this idolisation of Dalgleish? He has hardly set the heather on fire at Liverpool, and remember what a mess he made at Celtic ha ha and newscastle. Give mccoist 2 years and he will be great manager. WATP Blue Bells are Blue Ps what it is like watching our Blues brothers Chelsea in europe ha ha hope other blue team Everton finish higher than yous ha ha

What a pillock

Ha ha good luck supporting the other blues when Rangers are closed down ya muppet

What a really under educated Rangers fan you are. I had to read the post twice, it would be easier to read hyroglifics. You have forgot how Dalglish did with Liverpool as a manager and at Blackburn, but you highlighted all the bad points, but i suppose if your going to mention McCoist your going to mention bad points. Hard to figure out If Rangers are better than Everton, let me think their both sh**te!

KopRock

Why is anyone gonna listen to you? You can't even spell Dalglish!

HAAHA Now u are THE most laughable poster on here...
Seriousley, anyone being dim enough to compare anything that happens in Scottish football with anything that happens in park football in England is laughable but to compare or discuss anything that happens in the premier league is just hilarious.. what has Dalglish ever done!?.. HAAHAHA ur are a joker mate.. thanks for the giggle.. please come again!..
ItsNotRocketScience

Our fans make Ibrox a great atmosphere, all you reds can sing is poxy YNWA like the other lot in glasgow, what has that to do with football. We are the people. Blue bells are blue

And you as you said your certainly a blue! and i'd say your certainly a bell! and in Ibrox Goodison and Stamford Bridge there's certainly blue BELL'S just like you! Alphared

I reckon u should be supporting |Celtic mate.. then u can be green with envy properly!..lolol
How boring must it be to be a Rangers fan that has to come and try and wind up Liverpool fans!..
Im still unsure when u say Rangers if your talking about football or the mighty Morphen ones.... either way they are both never going to be world class!
ItsNotRocketScience

Neil Lennon is the best manager in Glasgow and Celtic Park has the best atmosphere - and thanks for Charlie Adam also.

JRG

Rangers are a good team and all haha mccoist is a person mon the hoops

How do you KNOW it was a Rangers fan who posted about Dalglish ? believe me if you were to read the Rangers & Celtic pages you would realise they're both as bad as each other.

I just had to put that thru a translator to try and make sense of it and it says that you said ' I am an imbecile please abuse me often as im too thick for anything else'
ItsNotRocketScience

Mcoist is only good at Question of sport, glorified jock who achieved nothing and never will

For the poster asking how do you do know its a rangers supporter Ha ha, clue 1, he TELLS you clue 2, blue bells are blue is a rangers song. clue3, team on "other" side of glasgow, how many clues do you want ha ha IrishBhoy

Hi LFC fans

RFC fan here and regular contributor.

I'm almost 100% sure that the OP in this case was one of 2 people who areCeltic fans.

Before I get shot down in flames for this, can I point out that IMMEDIATELY after this was posted, said Celtic fan posted on our pages.

The "ha ha" taunts are also used regularly by the same 2 people.

Dalglish was a LEGEND- no question about it for Scottish football- One of about 10 trully world class players we have EVER had! We have our doubts about McCoist in the long run....

Perhaps the Ed would care to check and compare the IP addresses?!

This kind of stuff just p*sses me off. People have a low enough opinion of my club as it is without folks hijacking threads and making relations worse...

daviet {Ed002's Note - We don't have time to check and compare IP addresses, sorry. We alkso cannot do it retrospectively.}

he may not have played at his best when he was with us, but he's still our boy. a big congratulations to Joe Cole, who had a stormer of a game and a fantastic assist. i hope you have a fantastic season over there mate.

He is only on loan.. if he gets his groove back he will return to us next season like a new player,.. im pretty sure this is what the idea of a loan move is.. otherwise they would have just got rid like all the others.
Looking forward to a Joe Cole back to his best in a red shirt!

i think a few of you are being to quick to slam carra. no he is not as quick anymore and makes mastakes but he is a leader and still works his socks off and still a top player and someone we still need. i know we have now got coats but he needs time to settle in.

I agree with this ....carra has scored so many goals for our opponents even then ....he is our best defender .....without him there our guys seem like not having any clue ....

its a simple problem..just his pace ....n should be covered tactically .....like against bolten ...when we go too much higher up the pitch...n carra is lefat behind on his own with less support ...any pacy guy can beat him ..other than this ..carra is still solid..his blocks r so important ...n carras solidity allows agger to be free

Kenny likes to play a high line and for me there is no place for carra when we play like this. too easy caught for pace on the counter,but still love the guy

When you say " His blocks are so important " , do you mean his feet ? {Ed002's Note - His feet are essential to stop him falling over.}

I don't think some folk's concerns about the upcoming game against Spurs should be simply dismissed.
I for one am not confident of a positive result Sunday (positive being a win).

I don't remember when was the last time we won at WHL.
Spurs are ordinarily very good at home; they always give a good account of themselves against the "big teams", especially us.

Our last 3 games there have all ended in defeat, with 6 goals conceded to the measly 3 we've scored.
Mind you, they beat us (0-2) at Anfield last season, having comprehensively and thoroughly outplayed us.

Modric had a blinder that match and dominated our midfield the entire evening.

Looking at our "defence" and midfield, especially Adam- who's a mobility of a tank- it'st difficult to see us not being troubled by them, especially Modric again, who's quick, has terrific movement and can dominate games, unlike our midfielders.

As much we should try to bag as many goals as we can, I think it CRUCIAL that we keep them out.
Just like us at Anfield, they'll come out the blocks flying.
Spurs always create tons of chances, but are let down by their appalling finishing.
But now with Adebayor, they may starting converting those chances.

So it's gonna tough.
This will be our sternest test thus far.
It's actually one game I was prepared to not fuss over if we'd fail to come away with a positive result of any sort, provided we won all our first 4 games (all winnable).

Considering our past results there, a point at WHL wouldn't be a bad result.
What's your take, ed? You see us coming away with all three?

Baie dankie

Ray Burmeister

Are you having a laugh?
spurs have no defense theyre all injured modric is quality on his day but they are few and far between especially since he wants to leave an bale is a one trick pony pace thats it!
we should most definately not be fearing spurs in any way.
And adam hasnt got great pace no but he spanked 2 past spurs last season easily for blackpool add to that downing bellamy our workhorse kuyt and our little magician suarez with the beast up top andy we should have far too much for spurs.
REDhunty

Wow what an absolutely negative post! So in a nutshell our midfielders are rubbish and we're going to lose.
Why should we have any worries going to WHL? the way we have played this season I have no concerns about playing anyone - let them worry about us. We have played some of the most attractive, attacking football I have seen us play for many years. I don't think there are many teams looking forward to playing us this year.
As for our midfielders - I have been really impressed with all our new signings but especially Downing and Adam - look at the stats and see how many chances these two players alone have created so far this season. Adam has scored one and created two alone.

JRG

Personally I think Kenny will field a fluid 4-(5)-1 4-(3-2)-1 formation with the team moving between the two dictated by who has possession and which thiord of the pitch. I think he will take them on and go for the win from the off. I also reckon it will be a very good game. RED LENIN

Spurs are ordinarily very good at home you say, how about 1-5 against Man. City just a few weeks ago?

HK

Yup ...adam is a tank

n mate tanks r not known for their speed but..their armory ...just like tank adam has many things pass,spot kicks, his shooting...n lot more

No dankie to you. What a terribly negative post. Perhaps you should stick to rugby. Pillock.

Burmeisturd usually has negative and silly views, so no surprise here. Spuds usually have a flukey goal in them against us, but still I reckin we'll get the 3 points at the weekend.
Milamber

Burmeister, a bit negative and lay off Adam. He has been more than decent in new surroundings and team.

Stevie G could be back against Brighton. Cant wait for his return. Its was quite funny how KK got on fergies nerves without doing anything last night. Looking forward to sunday i fancy a Suarez brace.

When everyone is available

my team would be like this with Gerrard playing the Alonso role (which he is capable of) and oftenly interchanging with Adam.

......................Reina
..............Coates......Agger
Johnson................................Enrique
....................Gerrard
................................Adam
Downing.................................Bellamy
.....................Suarez
...............................Carroll

Subs:
Doni
Kelly
aurelio
Carragher
maxi
lucas
henderson
kuyt

Mate come on, u can't be dropping Lucas with the form he's in.
If anyfin Lucas where gerrard is n push gerrard where Adam is n Adam warmin the bench

I think Gerrard should be warming the bench and wait for his chance. Either that, or put him RM where he can be lethal. Adam and Lucas have be great so far so shouldn't be dropped.

cozinoz

Mine would be:

Reina
Johnson Coates Agger Enrique

Lucas Adam
Gerrard Downing
Suarez
Carroll

Reina
Johnson-Carragher-Agger-Enrique
Lucas-Adam
Gerrard-Suarez-Downing
Carroll

Subs:Doni,Kelly,Skrtel,Coates,Henderson,Bellamy,Kuyt

Dano

Playing Gerrard on the right for the spurs game i think is the best option that way Kenny can access where he is. If he played in the centre and he goes missing we will suffer.

Noticed a few regular posters mentioning Smalling and Jones being in the Manu team through injuries to Vidic and Ferdinand which is true and they've done no more than ok.
We have players injured at right back ourselves. So perhaps the Spuds game would be perfect for Coates.
...................REINA
CARRA..COATES....AGGER..ENRIQUE
Seems a good possibility to me. What do think?
kidmillions

It might be a bit fairer to put him as a sub unless Skrtel is unable to play? Bring him on if there's an injured defender or for the last 20 if were 2-0 up.

Bale against carra migyt not be a good idea

If Bale plays on the left, i wouldnt fancy Carra against him, play Carra in the middle. 500 games he's allowed the odd mistake.

DMT07

I wouldnt have a issue with putting him in if carra is there to lead the line.

Smalling and Jones both had previous premier league experience which coates doesnt. Both speak english as there first langage coates doesnt. Both had an entire pre season (smalling much longer) coates hasnt.

Id say they have done ok. masked by the fact the atticking players have done so well.

Dont forget they conceeded 2 to a terrible Arsenal team, allowed bolton 16 attempts on goal and conceded again last night.

I didnt watch the entire game as i was watching City however turned over at 1 point towards the end to see Millito jog into the box unmarked and put his shot just wide.

But i agree all 3 will be quality players just early days yet

Gd to noe that there's at least 1 other singapore-based Red (hi keith!:-)) n smbody who disagrees w living in Asia on this site. Haha

Rgdg eccleston-here's my penny's worth.

Free speech is gd. He, or anybody is entitled to their opinion.

But when he is among a special few who have e opportunity to play for LFC, I think the least he could do is b responsible w wat he says cos he is recognised w e club.

You dun see stevie or carra going online n saying controverial opinions.

We keep saying noplayer is bigger than the club. Mayb sm of the players nid to think abt the club b4 they do certain things.

Hvg said that, I don't think this twittergate is serious enuf to warrant a sacking. It's juz a lad being daft w/o meaning to offend. The owners hv shown themselves to b sensible, responsible n reasonable ppl, so I think they will handle this w common sense. I mean, they're not like sm russian owners who fire at will, rite? Haha

And even if eccleston does get the boot, it is fully within the rights of the owners who will compensate him for it, so it's not that bad.

But I do think reason will prevail. Probably an apology n a fine.

Juz hope that ALL the players from the academy to the 1st team learn frm this. Like it or not, they represent the best club in the world. And no player will ever b bigger than this mighty club. So pls represent us well n dun do or say daft or controversial things in places where the whole world can see. Thank you.:-)

For God Sake, if you have something to say and want people to hear your opinion, SAY IT ( or at least spell it correctly) to be perfectly honest I got totally bored trying to translate your mail to English by the 4th line... funny thing is it looked liked you put more effort into finding a "text speak" alternative to the word you wanted than it would have taken to type the correct word in the first place..
Try typing again and maybe people will value your thoughts..

I saw many match of Lavezzi. as I live Rome. The only Italian team play attacking football is Napoli. Lavezzi was almost join us by £7m 2/3 years a go. He was ready to join and even didnt join to trening with napoli for 2 weeks. dont Know why Rafa take U turn in last moment. For me Lavezzi is the fastes Player I see so far. yes Pato is very much fast too but Lavezzi is best in that pace. £20m we should get him and Agree with Ed he will be good partner to Suarez. {Ed009's Note - I certainly agree that he would be a fantastic signing and his pace a great asset, but in my opinion we are lacking a goal poacher in the Hernandez mould to a greater extent.}

wud u have taken benzema for 30 million pnds if we hadnt signed carrol? I think he is very similar to hernandez, but a little selfish.
Indian Buzzer

I think Benzema is not only a poacher he's also a great goal scorer! he certainly know's where the back of the net is! Alphared

Can he show this to carroll?

Tennant's Super sure is a bully. He slurred his way through another interview before flipping out over a question about his keeper's because he in my opinion had a can straight after the game and i cant belive he flipped like that to any female interviewer never mind the Kings daughter. Dont tell me a clear thinking manager would react like that for such an innocuous question. She kept her composure brilliantlly and i bet her old man is as proud of her as he's as angry at the old bully telling her to stop asking stupid questions. I just seen it and cant belive he reacted to a valid question considering the form of the 2 keepers Utd have got. One total 18 mil total s**te, the other looked half decent to be honest. He needs to cut down on his boozing because it really is showing now during his interviews. Talk about making my blood boil the t**t. Him, a Knight of the Relm, more like a Knight of the Bells. Shocking,classless old jakey. Jonson6

It just goes to show anybody from the Dalglish family can get under his skin! He really can't deal with KK being back in the game. Probably why the boozing has gone up a notch. Think he has resorted to hiding his hooch in lucozade sport water bottles but he aint kidding anyone, you don't get that much timber from glorified water. Any more interviews with the Kings daughter will surely bring out a few more broken blood vessels on that ever increasingly purple nose!

Cheers

I watched some of the Benfica match.
Have to say, that's a mighty fine stadium they have there. Cracking atmosphere too.
I hope I dont make my debut at the Coca Cola Anfield sitting in a wheelchair, with a woolen tartan blanket over me knees, by the time our new ground gets built. Lol.
