Eds, I hope you don't mind.

There is a great article on the BBC website "Price of Football 2014: Why fans flock to Borussia Dortmund"

That is what I want for Liverpool.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - That is never going to happen I am afraid.}

The only way I see change is if all fans get together and all refuse to pay extortionate prices to see their team.also stop paying this high price for the likes of sky sports and BT.But ed is right never going to happen.

I remember reading ages ago something along the lines of when brendan got the job fsg wanted van gaal as a director of football but brendan didn't want to work under someone? Is that true or along them lines? Van gaal with brendan could of be class!

Should we run through all the "should of could of would ofs" of the past ten years like should Rafa of been allowed the extra couple of million to spend on Dani Alves etc?

What would it matter if it was true or not?

Hi eds, i'm not sure if you're aware or i'm the only one that experiences this but if i post banter the box pops up saying it has been sent as supposed to, but then i refresh the page and the box pops up again, not sure if it affects anything or sends my stuff multiple times or if i'm just being an invalid and this happens to everyone

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed033's Note - hi, if a box appears, then it's best to close the box, by either clicking the 'Close' link coloured blue near the bottom of the box or by clicking the X in the top right of the box

Eds Note: The Thread that was here has now been moved to our Liverpool Other Posts Page.

Great post Mr em.

I was just about to post how astounding it is that people find this fatigue such a big deal.
Surely the sports scientists with England will know neuromuscular readiness and fatigue is affected physiologically by many factors; even sleep quality plays a major role.
Raheem may have been feeling fatigued that doesn't mean he's been burnt out, it just means he could do with an extra day's recovery. Let's not forget much of his work is high intensity sprinting and he covers a lot of ground!
People need to chill and cut his some slack.

So u believe everything that an attention seeking coach says? Lol ok mate. So I shall not expect to see sterling playing for Liverpool in the next few weeks?

Agree1 Disagree10

19 years of dust ;)

Agree0 Disagree2

At least what the Dutcman is saying makessome kind f logical sense whichis what I like about his view on the matter. We might disagree w/ his view BUT I can see some sense it it. As for Roy, I don`t know why he`s being a child about it. The fact that he is making a big deal out of the fact that a 19 yr old is tired. If he is, rest him. What is scary tho, is that it seems like Roy is relying on a 19 yr old kid to do the business for England. That should show how incapable he is as a coach and a leader of men, IMO.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely resting someone is them not playing at all. .

Agree0 Disagree0

Well let's wait and see shall we? Will Raheem 'the wonder boy' suddenly feel refreshed and invigorated after his pointless trip to Estonia? Or will Brenda keep him on the bench or worse still admit him to Alder Hey for further recuperation after the exploits of a pointless International journey?
Methinks he'll be 'fit and ready'. What a surprise when his country means so little to him. But there again was this always in Rodgers' mind before Sterling left? A case of Sturridge injured in the last international break possibly?

Agree4 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - who really gives a monkeys? Scouse not English. England means sweet FA to most of the people in Liverpool, so who cares? So long as Sterling is fit for Liverpool, I don't give a toss whether he plays for England or not. It is about time they stopped these international breaks midseason and switched the international games to the end of the club season. That way none of this childish bickering would be going on. Oh and and Hodgson should learn to keep his mouth shut, he doesn't have the balls to stand up for his players like a good manager would. Mourinho would have backed his player to the hilt and taken all the pressure on to himself, Hodgson has no intention of taking any of the blame if it goes wrong. That is why he is a failure.}

Agree with Ed totally. It's all a cafufel over sod all as far as I can see. I don't really like slagging Hodgson cus it feels like your slagging off your grandpa in a way, but he wasn't good enough for Liverpool so I can't see how he could be good enough for England. He stretched his legs for half an hour - can't harm a 19 yo really.

Agree1 Disagree0

Well said ed001. Hopefully that puts the nonsense to bed.

Agree2 Disagree0

Exactly ed001

Bravo, Ed01!

Got to agree with Ed on this; I remember Ferguson slating one of our players when Hodgson was in charge of us; he didn't back the player for fear of upsetting Ferguson!

You hear the managers of small clubs always 'bigging up' their players to play for England.

In a funny way, it's both cheesy and cringe-worthy.

The Everton fans have a habit of advocating and encouraging England managers to choose their players.

Hahaha.

Just like they have a habit of signing Utd's B-team, has-beens and fringe players.

Anyway, I wouldn't of thought it would be an issue for you, Davey, coming from Wales and all that.

Stick to supporting Tranmere lad, you're embarrassing yourself on here.

Oh yeah, do one!

Coutinho is one of my favourate players, his performances will be inconsistant as will sterlings because they are young players. They are both class players and selling class makes no sence unless they don't fit into the team. I personally like Coutinho operating in midfield, he shows for balls from defence, he can beat a man and he can make a killer pass but against WB players were not making the runs when he was looking for them. Two quick strikers means more runs in behind and more opertunity for a playmaker like himself to find them. We don't have endless money to throw at world class experienced internationals so why sell potentially world class young players.

Hi eds,
January transfer window looks like Coutinho maybe on his way out of liverpool while liverpool are looking for a new attacker such as Lavezzi and Reus.
I will be gutted of Coutinho left but if brendan pulls off lavezzi or Reus i be happy.
If he does go do you think we will replace him with either these two?.
Glen johnson, Lucas, Borini are on there way out.
Any truth in Origi being recalled?
Thanks

Believable0 Unbelievable4

{Ed001's Note - I doubt either of those two will join Liverpool and no, Origi can not be recalled in January without paying a substantial fee.}
