Trent to have scan on injury, hopefully he will be ok after the international break as today he played a decent game and i particularly enjoyed the slight tactical change of Trent staying deeper in between both CBs as opposed to more advanced in midfield this meant he just stayed in CB role if possession was lost and there was no swap over between CB and RB when tracking back…much more balanced and would work a treat with Konate and Virg who have greater pace.

Only worry dow ney is if they think with the added pace they push Trent further forward again .

Everything looked better today and a little shout out to Curtis Jones who played really well I thought few moments weren’t brilliant
Have to say the whole midfield did very well .

Dow-Ney Gomez is rapid and has played plenty at right back, not sure it will work with Konate and VVD but we will see. I really hope Gomez comes good, he looked a top talent a couple of years back but injuries stalled him, last season he stayed injury free but his performances greatly dropped, he could be ideal in the new system.
