Klopp planning for AFCON with these two signs seeing that 2 from attack and one from midfield would be affected. With Thiago, Jota and Taki, we are well covered.

Either Mane or Salah will be sold next summer mate to fund a rebuild mate. This is common knowledge.
There will be further changes to the squad next summer as well so it's difficult to predict what the squad will look like 12 months down the line. And the AFCON 2022 will factor in imo when these squad changes are being made by Klopp.

IB I know it’s been suggested that Mane or Salah will be sold mate but I’d hardly say it’s common knowledge it’s going to happen. Not Like Klopp or anyone with authority in the club have come out and announced it.

It is not common knowledge
Just your opinion or some rumour
I personally and this is just my opinion don’t think either will be sold next season.

By the time next season starts all 3 of our current first choice forwards will be 29 years old - whilst I'm not saying that makes them past it, we do need to start some kind of replacement planning and if a mega money offer was made for one of them then I, personally, would accept it before their value diminishes once they get to 30/ 31.

Replacement planning such as Jota, Minamino and Elliott? All signed in the last 3 transfer windows. That is the replacement planning right there.

Agree with johnnyr1970. This is exactly what the club will also be thinking. Keep 2 out of the front 3 with us till the very end and let them walk away in 3-4 seasons as two of the club's biggest legends while one to be sacrificed next season to raise funds for the next batch of attackers. We cannot afford to replace all 3 at one go especially after their market value starts diminishing.
Its a bit like Chelsea replacing Hazard with Pulisic and Werner. Makes sense in the long run without having to rely on owners to fund a rebuild.

The longer Salah and Mané stay with us, the more difficult it will be for them to move. Until they come to a year before their contract expirations. Next summer they'll be 29-30, LFC will still want 100 million plus for each, and teams will think real hard before buying, because everyone will need 2-3 more years to stabilize their finances, and unless your name is Messi, Ronaldo or Lewandowski I don't see such amounts being paid for a players that are on the beginning down curve. Forwards wear out, and their skills erode, faster than the other positions.
