Ed, view on steve nicol? The guy seems to spout an awful lot of rubbish. Most recently saying we should bring Suarez back 😂😂.

I think a lot of pundits say stuff to be controversial. That way they get talked about and it keeps them in the limelight. Adrian Durham is a prime example of that. Any press is good press.

I don’t think he’s trying to be controversial. I just think what he did best involved using his feet, not his mouth. I was about to compare him to Phil Thompson, in that they were great players but embarrassing pundits, but then I remembered that Phil passionately loves the club so I can forgive him his outbursts and one eyed ness.

Thanks ed. I read some funny stories about nicol. He was with Hansen and weighed himself while holding 2 shopping bags and thought he had put on a stone! Hansen had to point out he was holding the bags 😂😂😂.
