I think ( awaits being shouted at for being wrong) that Ed01 May have mentioned a few years back that Bobbys contract was very performance based so it could be true.

Yeah his initial contract I'm sure was relatively low basic salary in today's world with big add ons when he met certain targets. I think I remember mentions at the time he was 1 goal short of his required bonus for a few games and people were noting how he was selfless as ever in good positions looking for a teammate instead of letting his financial gain affect his football. I wonder do many players have contract clauses that they can't help but affect their decision making on the field.

I didn't realise that was meant to be firmino's contract. But when I read it I thought of him, and how selfless he is with the ball.

Can I ask, if anyone knows, do players get similar bonuses for assists?
