A very good morning to all. Ed001 did any team ever make a bid/ inquiry for Dalglish?

{Ed001's Note - off the top of my head I can't remember any. I am sure they must have done though.}

I read that Man Utd were interested in him around the time of his move south of the border. But Liverpool moved in with speed and of course big money from Kevin Keegan’s sale.

Dalglish was being bought to partner Keegan not as his direct replacement. Similar to suarez and torres.

I didn’t actually know that until Ed001 told ya a few days back
Would have been god to see them both together although I think daglish was better.

I remember that Keegan had announced he was leaving at the start of the 1976/ 77 season so Dalglish was never going to partner him?

{Ed001's Note - except that Liverpool had been trying to bring him in for over a year mate. Your story about it being a quick move was not true.}
