How's Jack Robinson been getting on Ed? I would suppose well seeing as Shef Utd have taken him, haven't heard his name in a long time though considering big things were expected of him at one time.

{Ed001's Note - still struggles with injuries and attitude though. Wilder likes to take chances on players, feeling he can get the most out of players that have been underperforming.}

Rate that attitude, I can imagine Chris can change most people’s attitudes.

{Ed001's Note - they either knuckle down and work for the team or else with Wilder. There is no coasting in his team. If he can get Robinson to pull his head out of his backside, there might still be a player in there and it is not yet too late for him.}

Completely agree Ed, he’s got every playing working their ass of for him whatever footballing background they have.

And currently it’s bloody working!

{Ed001's Note - I really like what Wilder is doing. I really want to see how far he can take that, can he do it with even better players? I hope so as it is nice to see someone come from pretty much nowhere and succeed, with no leg up because he happened to once play for a big club.}

Got the feeling he liked to take chances with revel Morrison and jack rodwell going in! he's certainly confident in his ability (rightly so given how they have done this seasom) but may have bitten off more than he can chew with them lemons.

{Ed001's Note - they are all in last chance saloon there, so he might get lucky. If not, well there is little real outlay, so no real risk to the club.}

I do love a real underdog attitude.

Suppose your your right ed as I believe both on short term contracts. Not going to be stuck with inflated wages. Was always going to be a big ask. Frustrating when footballers waste a chance to be remembered for something other than coasting, both looked like real talents at one stage.

{Ed001's Note - it is a shame, but it is up to them.}

Sammatta seemed really pumped in both games against us; felt like he had a point to prove, or a move to manufacture, as he has evidently done!
I think he's a good target man and a good leader of the ball.
What do you think, Ed001? I know it's not Liverpool related really, but if you can, I'd like to know your thoughts about him as a striker.

{Ed001's Note - hard to say, he seems to have come from nowhere and he is not young, I think he is 27. So you have to wonder if he is a late developer like Drogba or is going to be a flash in the pan. As he is quick, and very reliant on that pace, I do think he is only going to be a short term star.}

I love Wilder cos he is a genuine coach who works on things with his players and it shows on the pitch. You can clearly tell that he is in charge and you see that in the way his team plays. IMO, he is showing that regardless of the level of your players, COACHING MATTERS. Would love to see him get a chance at a bigger team and should he be allowed to do his job and get in the players he wants, he could be pretty good.

Man utd at it again. Do they train in being overbearing towards refs? I thought that was a goal. I don't think it's red tinted. Never mind.

I have to admit that wilder is doing good things at utd. But I just don't like the guy. When he first appeared on motd he was humble and likeable. Since then he seems really big headed, and although his players work for him I don't think they like him. He doesn't praise them very often. Even when they win away, he talks about the mistakes.

I would hate him managing our boys. Funnily enough, if you think about the timing. If klopp walks away in 2024 (please don't leave) would wilder be in line for the job? Probably be Jose. Hope not.
