Hey Ed's

Do you see Grujic ever having a role at Liverpool as I have seen a few of his games this season and some highlights also and their is definitely a player their .

Jones was great last night but lallana was the standout for me and a special mention to Chirivella aswell that lad can play .

My main question to you is do you see Liverpool going out spending on players in the summer when we quite clearly have some talent in midfield area that are capable . ( I know over a season and consistently doing it is different) .

I'd personally like to see the kids gradually introduced with the 1st team rather than spend huge on a player .

{Ed002's Note - If he can get a Work Permit there is a chance.}

Grujic will never make it at Liverpool. No beating around the Bush, he's done here.

Remember the utd of Scholes becks, nevilles. Butt sharp etc. I can see our young crop being the next group. Love Alan hansen, but you can win with kids. Once they got one up they completely demolished a top Premier league team last night. They were playing like Barcelona second half (or Liverpool) and Messi, Ronaldo, salah, mane would all be super proud of that goal.

Robbiesline

I had the same thoughts after the game . A few youngsters making it together . Also SALAH I don’t know why you think he’s done as he’s been putting in some very decent performances and in klopp we have a manager willing to work with players I think he could be a real asset to the club . I think the likes of Woodburn and Wilson are more likely to leave permanently as I don’t see them being able to play our way whereas I can see Grujic being able to play in the klopp system.

A top team. Didn’t we play Everton?

I’ve a feeling you will eat your words salah! Grujic has been a top performer in a top three league for two seasons and is still relatively young. He will be excellent competition for Fabinho which means hendo and gini don’t have to play dm and fab will be able to be rotated more.

If Origi can come back from the wilderness and make it as a squad member, there is no reason Grujic can't. Aside from the work permit issues, of course. But I actually see Grujic as competition for Hendo, Wijnaldum and Milner for the CM role.

Bringing Grujic back into the squad next year would
Also allow jones to leave on loan and gain minutes at a higher level consistently to grow as a player.

{Ed002's Note - But that takes up another non HG place.}

Salah, I think I will reserve judgement on Marco Grujic. I recall that not that long ago you dismissed Gini Wijnaldum as “not good enough for Liverpool”.

Salah, care to put your money where your mouth is, lol?

Dhfc, Of course it's only a prediction into the near future but I don't believe that in 8-9 months time, Jones will need a loan. I think that by that time he'll be ready to start getting regular minutes in the first team.

It does also of course, depend on any incomings in midfield.

I'm not emotionally just basing it on the fact that he scored a great goal, but I think his all round game will be getting to the level of 3rd/ 4th choice in the two non DM, midfield places in the squad.

Trent did ok without a loan potato. Imo Grujic should replace lallana and Jones should take more minutes as we reduce milners. I just don’t think I loan is good for Jones I think he’s he will be better training and playing with us. Hendo and gini are approaching 30 so Jones will have plenty of opportunities.

I didn’t know you said that salah! You and Ed25 are tying for the worst shouts on the site haha.

Jones is ready to start playing more regularly in that first team NOW. Whether he's given those opportunities is a different matter, but no doubt about the fact that he's ready for more than the odd sporadic appearance.

When I said about Wijnaldum, he was the most inconsistant player in the squad, was he not? I wasn't the only one saying it lol he was terrible 8 games out of 10, anybody who watched him would've seen that. Luckily for us he's improved dramatically and is now doing a grand job.

Red Meister, sure mate let's do it.

Lol gaz, good point. Fair dues though, they are a big club, just struggling. Spent 50 mil on a classy cm, only thing is he's an absolute pussy. Gets bullied out of games way too easy. And he's your best player.

And Keane up top? Has he scored yet? What a poor signing.
