Hi Ed001,

Loving the idea of this article, sounds really interesting.

While you're on the idea of comparison articles would you be able to fit one in about how this Liverpool team compares to the "great" teams of Premier Leagues in the last 30 years?

Im thinking the treble winning United team, Arsenal's invincible, Jose's first stint at Chelsea and Man City under Pep.

Would be very interesting to see your take on how this Liverpool team compares to some of them.

Technically we are as good if not better than any Premier league team has been. We have to add more trophies to be considered the very best. Pretty sure that prem title is coming this year and with a squad in their prime with exciting youngsters and old pros too, we could dominate for a long time.

Sorry to piss on some fires but there's a fine line between belief and hyperbole. Weve won two proper trophies in a decade. Our recent results have been excellent but, like Robbiesline said, it means very little without silverware. We could win the treble this season or we could win absolutely FA. Right now we have phenomenal potential and a very bright looking future but until we have the success of previous Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea teams i don't see any comparisons.
