Klopp hinting that Alisson will be fit and available to start against those lot on Sunday.

Would you stick with Adrian, he's done pretty well? It's a massive game with Alisson no featuring all season.

Think we have only won 2 of our last 16 visits to OT. Just shows how hard we find going there. I am really looking forward to it and hope our big players remember to turn up this year.

I understand ED001, I've seen my fair share of bad results there, even when our performance has been decent. This feels different though. We've won games this season not playing particularly well and probably haven't put in a full 90 minutes yet. They are in a fair state. It's not just that their top players aren't playing well, it's that they have so few top players. Add to that OGS' performances and I think we'll stroll it tbh.

Am sure you said the same last year Salah as did most posters. The only thing I am confident about is that we will manage a shot, which is more than we managed there last season. I am looking to see which of our players go there and stamp their better quality on the game. Who really wants it? last year none of our players wanted it as much as the Man U players, we were out fought.

Our match at OT was quite amazing last season, you had Pogba and Sanchez sprinting - sprinting, not ambling - around like their lives depended on it.
Which just goes to show that it’s not a gimme by any means.

Agreed Juicer. It is Man U's champions league final. We have to start well from the first minute, match them for effort and stamp our superior quality on the game. We didn't do any of those things last year.

I would make them watch last years match because some of it was actually embarassing. We got out run and out fought by the worst Man U midfield in their history.

I don't think you can compare current united team with Napoli . The Italians are better with good manager .
The word mindset mentioned a bit and I think its totally true. This season we have a winning mentality cross the whole team and squad, and I think it will carry on ; while on the other hand , they lacking in confidence and they don't have leaders on or off the pitch to left them up . If we start as we usually do with speed and determination, I really think they'll crumble . I am not saying will score loads, maybe . but the potential is there.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I have not seen LFC be, and play with, the confidence we currently have. I certainly have not seen it in the Premier League era. Have we been in the Champions League final and in the top two for two consecutive years before?

I don't think it will be a blowout, but we will win. We like to do things the difficult way, at times. 😉.

I think the first 15 min will be very important. If we can play with high energy and harass them for the first 15 min we will be able to capitalise on our confidence and bring theirs down. Without true leaders on the pitch they may find it hard to recover from an early goal.
