I really feel for Fekir, to have been that close to a dream move (In terms of the level) to have it fall through must do something to you physiologically. The lack of clarification as to why it did can't help (Assuming his comments are to be believed) . Wish him well at Betis, though I think the club made a huge error in sacking Setién.

Can’t remember which publication but I read yesterday that the contributory cause was both the identified knee issue AND the introduction of a new player representative at the 11th hour wanting to get involved (and presumably paid with additional agent fees) .

Could be nonsense but it does kinda make sense why we pulled out.
