Definitely an entertaining race, and interesting to see the Ferrari international assistance program. sorry the FIA is alive and well.

I also like Leclerc but some bizarre calls for sure.

I would of liked to of seen all the drivers get across the line in Q3 because 9 into 1 at the first corner doesn’t go and would of been quite entertaining and pure carnage!

My favourite bit of the race though was watching Verstappen try to be conservative at the first corner and still make contact and damage his car!

{Ed001's Note - you are right about that Q3 would have been incredible if they had all made it across the line!

And it is true that Verstappen and caution just do not go together at all.}

I do what Vettel was doing when he spun off, did he even look to see if any cars were coming? Nearly bashed two Renault's and then took out Stroll. then Stroll does the exact same thing to Gasly.

Arent these meant to be the best drivers in the world.

The FIA seem to be setting a very dangerous precedent here. Basically stupid acts will get treated less severely than stupid acts that lead to an accident / contact. Even if the lack of any was purely down to luck. Surely dangerous driving, irrespective of the outcome, should be penalised?

The fact stroll didn’t plonk Gasly doesn’t make his move any less idiotic or dangerous than Vettel’s. Which for a four time champion is abysmal.

The 10 second stop go penalty wasn’t enough frankly. I would have just black flagged the two of them.

As for Leclerc- I get we want wheel to wheel racing but running a car off blatantly in the braking zone is a stonewall penalty. As for the cutting the chicane - how that wasn’t leaving the track and gaining an advantage I will never know.

I agree with wassa vettel should have been black flagged. I think the fia should have put all 8 car that never made it in time in Q3 to the back of the grid! This will happen again next year if it’s not stopped now. We pay a lot of money to watch the best drivers in the world and then to watch that utter bollocks was just shocking
FIA grow some balls. You look a joke.

Have to agree about the FIA, one rule for one and another for others is very close to corruptness. Shouldn’t matter where you are or what car is in question, the rules can easily be determined with all the cameras they have.
