Apparently Gary Neville had loaned an official Man Utd club car - some expensive French thing - that had started leaking oil just after setting off and then developed all kinds of bangs and rattles, smoking its way down the East Lancs.
He just made it to Anfield, then the motor gave a final cough before giving up the ghost and a wheel fell off.
It wasn’t all bad news though, he managed to cadge a lift home on Harry Maguire’s new bin wagon that had been out practicing 3 point turns when it was on its 947th turn in northern Liverpool to complete a turn first started in Salford 6 hours ago when things had gone a little awry!

Ed after yesterday, I look like a bloody lobster mate, people are taking the p*ss today, already! Problem is, I crashed out in my garden and half my head is darker than the other half! I look so bloody odd mate! - I know, nothing new there ;) hahaha!

{Ed001's Note - let me guess, part of you was in shade? No one ever falls asleep fully in the sun. Still, be glad you didn't have a partial shade that was in some kind of weird/wacky shape or an advertising logo so you have to spend the next few days with Marlboro burnt into your head like someone I used to know once did. She fell asleep on a beach lounger with a Marlboro umbrella over her and the writing didn't shade her. Right across the forehead, like someone had stencilled it.}
