Ed 001 with his injury record and such a lengthy time on the sideline with that ACL injury do you see it as a risk giving AOC a new long term contract the now?

{Ed001's Note - not at all, any player can suffer an injury at any time, so it is no more of a risk than giving a long term contract to any player.}

Come on RedWolf, he was very often injured at Arsenal too.

to be fair, a lot of players were often injured in that period AOC was in Arsenal.

have felt that our medical team has been doing really well the past few years.

My point, exactly Kaizer. LFC-OCbeef, I couldn't be arsed about what his injury record was at Arsenal cos it is common knowledge that the Aresenal mid. staff were beginning to sound and look like a running joke esp. under Wenger. It became so ridiculous to the point that even the Arsenal fans started to question them as well cos it looked like their players like Ox, Gibbs, Walcott, Ramsey couldn't roll out of bed w/ o getting injured. Don't even get me started with the legendary Abou Diaby.

Ox has never been injured since his move to LFC until his devastating ACL injury happened. Not even once so sorry, I don't care what his injury record was at Arsenal cos NOBODY could ever stay healthy there and everyone was fully aware of that.

RedWolf, you forget Mr. Sicknote himself Tomas Rosicky. Pretty sure he didn't play for 3 of his contracted years at Arsenal.

HSF, I totally missed him. Good Grief, I remember his injury record now. I mean, it got to a point where I totally forgot he was still at Arsenal cos he would go months without ever playing for them and all we would here was that, "Rosicky is still injured". And we should consider the opinions of such incompetent people regarding Ox's alleged "injury record"? Sorry, I would not let that pathetic medical staff treat me if I had a head cold. They wouldn't be able to diagnose it if their lives depended on it.

Vermaelan too could never stay fit, santi cazorla hit setback after setback for a couple of years and has only started playing since joining Villarreal. Koscielny regularly struggled, van persie also, wilshere, Welbeck both missed huge chunks. They have had a crazy amount of players over 10-15 years who weren't available for most games.

That is clearly a big issue that certainly shouldn't last so long without seeing drastic changes from within.

Spot on, Har_red92. I totally forgot about Vermaelen, Koscielny, Carzola et al.
