Nasty posts sent to Tammy Abraham after he missed the penalty? Jeez, he's a kid, missed a big penalty for his club and this? What is wrong with people?

{Ed025's Note - some of them are horrible bill..

Good god what will happen when he misses the penalty that sends them to relegation?

Morning Ed001 and Red's. Lee Cattermole what"player"😁.

{Ed001's Note - I know you love him Bazza, I certainly did as he always gave me hope I could have been a Prem player. If he could make it any one of us could!}

Good read Ed001 mate. I must admit I feel really bad for Tammy Abraham putting up with such abuse.

{Ed001's Note - it is extremely sad mate. He had a penalty saved, no reason to abuse the poor lad, he must feel terrible anyway!}

Great read Ed, it doesn't look good for Bolton, bury and Macclesfield at the moment, what happens if they get thrown out of the league, in terms of where do they end up and what happens to there fixtures.

{Ed001's Note - Bolton's takeover should go through any day now as Bassini's block has been lifted.

Bury have offers on the table but their owner is a dick and is making a balls up. However they should end up rescued when someone finally makes Dale see that he is an imbecile and should just walk away.

As for Macclesfield, I have no idea about their situation, I thought they were going to be ok once they survived but Sol walking away at this moment suggests trouble ahead. He is not one for putting in work in the trenches.

I am not sure what would happen if any did get thrown out as the league would have to make a decision and it would depend on the situation at the time. If it was Bury chucked out, for instance, the likelihood is that the league would just carry on without them and their fixtures removed. They haven't played yet so it is fairly simple. Next season an extra team would be promoted from the league below.

With the other 2, it would depend when they were booted out. Usually their fixtures are ruled void, but I am not sure if that is the case in England.}

Look at the difference when gini missed. We all stood beside him.

Who wins the eufa player of the year ed messi ronaldo or van djike? Red tinted maybe but its big v for me (which is how i like my women)

{Ed001's Note - I personally think Messi and Ronaldo have not been at their best, so it was always going to go to whoever was in there with them. I am not convinced they should even have been on the shortlist.}

Robbie, unfortunately each set of fans have idiots that can tarnish us all. I'm pretty sure there has been stories of people abusing our players after a mistake, as I say all sets of fans have a few that run their mouth, twitter in particular just provides a platform.

Agreed ed. I haven't seen much of messi and ronaldo this year but what i've seen hasn't been so special. If Barcelona had won the European cup then that freekick he scored at nou camp could have swung it for him. But our team beat them. Stand out player in the team vvd. My worry is that defenders don't often win it.

To chime in on the UEFA player of the year award. I think they made a big mistake by including Ronaldo and not including Allison.

{Ed025's Note - yeah reynard...and robertson, TAA, gomes, hendo, gini, bobby, sturridge, lovren and clyne...and dont forget the tea lady and the ball boys...they were all fantastic ..its a swizz i tell ya..

I have very little knowledge of this apart from reading about Bolton and Bury, so apologize if this is a stupid question! In general, are northern clubs more likely to fall into administration than southern clubs? Bury, Bolton, and Macclesfield are all northern clubs in not particularly well off areas, so I'm wondering if the general economic climate plays a part in clubs falling into administration

Thanks in advance!

Allison would get my vote for UEFA player of the year for his CL crucial moments. That napoli save at the death, MOTM against Barca, in the final saved many spurs shots. Clean sheets kept against napoli, Porto, bayern Munich, Barca, spurs is impressive. Some huge season defining saves was crucial to our success.
