Thought the photo was with reference to the penalty shoot out!

To be fair to Neville he has never claimed to be anything else than an ex footballer pundit. For the record he is my guilty secret. I do pay attention to him as more times than not he talks sense. Oh and l love the fact he simply exists just so that Carragher can knock him down every now and then.

The VAR decision was disgraceful.
Refs decision was wrong.
VAR decision made much quicker than normal and they couldn’t possibly have looked at all the evidence and angles in such a short time. Never even asked the ref to check the video screen herself.
Gonna be controversial here and say, maybe they just didn’t want to show a woman referee in a showpiece game making such a huge error.
And before people call me sexist. I’m a woman myself!

Liver_la, I thought exactly the same thing. But this is sure to outrage a few.

being a woman doesn't mean you are immune from disrespecting women.

Regarding the final and VAR,
I only saw the winning penalty which Adrián saved once, but it looked to me that he didn’t stay on the line, which, if I understand correctly, would force it to be retaken? Was it even checked? Everyone just started celebrating in no time.

Anyways, really happy for the lads, and Adrián in particular. Though, I hope these 120 tough minutes won’t haunt us come Saturday.

I thought except for the peno where var agreed with her decision (wrongly in my opinion) I thought they officiated the game well.

Adrian admitted he touched Abraham even though he was trying to pull away from the player. There was contact and Abraham went down so the ref and VAR were correct.
The officiating error that would have made me irate if i was a Chelsea fan was that Adrian was off his line for the save against Abraham. It should have been spotted by VAR and retaken. But since i support Liverpool and i think the new goalie rule plus video refs are a crock of crud, i personally couldn't care less.
