Eds, safe to assume that the sale of Mignolet hasn't really come as a surprise and, therefore, that some kind of replacement is in the pipeline?

{Ed001's Note - not to the club, did to me as I thought I was being wound up that he had turned down so many better offers and then joined Bruges! So I don't know, I have asked, but so far I am still just getting the urine extracted over not believing when I was told.}

Adrian has been signed in a free.

It's strange they let him go after kloop's comments in pre season about needing two No1 keepers. I wouldn't class Adrian as a Premiership No1 keeper. Just like West Ham don't.

Adrian is definitely an adequate number 2 and is probably more reliable and definitely less error prone than Mignolet. He’s as good as or better than what Mignolet has become over the last couple of years.

Of the options considered (Lonergan, Cakir, Marshall) I'd say Adrian is the best of the bunch. Lonergan and Marshall are more like 3rd choice Prem keepers, and I'd never heard of Cakir so can't say he's better or worse to be honest. Looks like some good work by the club.

Adrian is better with the ball than mugs would ever be, have you seen the goal he scored in a Friendly game box to box and finished . He also scored against the blues penalty shoot out FA Cup.

Isnt karius still our player? We could just call him back?

I just hope he's great with penalties. A pen specialist comes in very handy sometimes.

Karius shouldn't even consider coming back to England, unless he builds a reputation abroad that is so strong the scrutiny from English fans and media rolls off him like water runs off a duck.

{Ed002's Note - Klopp's number one remember.}

All too well Ed002 and he deserves better not as a footballer, but as a person than English football can offer him. Not even the Liverpool fans could offer him genuine support and condolences after he was visibly distressed in front of the whole world. It was half hearted or patronising at best. Let's not even get into the death threats. In a world where people pretend to take mental health seriously I was embarrassed for the sport. I hope he enjoys his career elsewhere away from tribal morons.

{Ed002's Note - The Liverpool fans treated him disgracefully.}

It was indefensible Ed002, so i won't even try.
