I have to say I was extremely surprised by Harvey Elliot in the Lyon game . Nothing seemed to phase the lad and he put in a great performance and linked up well with the players around him.
Possibly should be kept as a squad player this year . As they say if your good enough your old enough .
Eds how highly thought of is Elliot? Is he seen as a player that can make s impact now?

Agreed it is up to him to prove that age means nothing, looked confident against Lyon but we have so many talented players he will have to just keep working hard!

Time is on his hands! In 4 years time he will only he 20!

Ed001 pardon my ignorance but this lad seems to have come from nowhere. Were there big things expected of him prior to making his Fulham debut or did they manage to keep him under wraps and well protected from the media and the expectations that normally come with these wonder kids.

Ed001 kind of worked in his favour then, although this Harry Kane video now is being made a mountain out of a mole hill and putting him right in the media limelight. The media don't seem too fussed on 16 year old kids joining gangs and stabbing and robbing people but are all over a silly video. Pathetic on their behalf.

{Ed001's Note - it is silly, but this isn't the first silly video he has made and he should know better. Having said that, there are far worse things he could be doing but it is still a mistake he has to learn from. Players have done much worse and recovered from it to build a good career, so it is not a be-all and end-all error.}

We have signed two players in this window. Yes they're kids but highly talented kids. Yet some fans are acting like we haven't signed anybody yet.

I agree with ed01 that his chances will come in the cup competitions. That said, of all our youngsters, brewster aside, i think elliot has a big chance of breaking through. He looks the real deal.

I was quite impressed with Elliott's run-out vs Lyon. Even tho he may not get a tonne of games, he is young and any time he is able to get on the field, will be nothing but hugely beneficial to him.
