Waro as I agree with that Sir Bob added players each season. But a lot of these players never got into the first team straight away. Hansen, Rush for example had time in the reserves. Plus why buy someone just to sit on the bench that is not good enough. Do we need Rodgers back and one of the biggest squads. Were players are of the same equal. It was a different time for us then were we could buy through the season and improve the team.

It's OK to be different with opinions as it strikes a balance to things. However, I think the OP was overly intense and extremely emotional. "Paisley is 20 times the manager Klopp would ever be"? That infuriated me when I read it and actually regretted reading it.

For a man, who has brought us the hope of even being constantly in the mix for titles after the hopeless, gloomy days of Rodgers, I think that was ill thought and disrespectful to be fair. This is not the 70s move on and give credit to whom it's due.

I agree that the Klopp part was a bit over the top but the post in general stems from someone who cares and is worried. if those worries are unfounded only time will tell.

When the great Sir Bob was adding players we were at the very top of the tree making it easier to integrate players that didn't necessarily have to hit the ground running, unlike today were you don't 2 seasons to bed in. I do however think in our league you continuously have to refresh the squad and not rest on your laurels. For me our bench will be the deciding factor on how well we do this season. I just hope we are as lucky with injuries with the forward players as we were last season.

Were going to struggle like mad first ten games I reckon. Sign a few players in January and finish strong. Anfield will carry us again in Europe possibly all the way, it's getting louder and louder on UCL nights each year and even more difficult for the big teams.

{Ed0333's Note - January signings don’t guarantee success mate

The game and business of football has changed considerably over the 40 or so years since Paisley was in charge. Pretty much the whole world has changed so I don't see a valid comparison.

Waro has a legitimate point of view and i agree with most of it (except the disrespectful comments about Klopp) . Every season the squad should be analysed for potential problems and weaknesses and those issues should be addressed.
Is Llalana the player he was three years ago? Does Milner have the same engine and endurance for a full season as he did a year ago? Is an inexperienced Brewster an adequate replacement for the departed Sturridge? Are our front three going to hit top form in the first few matches after their summer tournaments and can they sustain their form all season without burnout? If Robbo and TAA are injured long term do we have ideal replacements or just fill-ins?
The questions are endless, of course, and totally hypothetical but we cannot hope to be successful without real contingency plans.
Personally, i think we still need an AM and a fullback. Who they best signings are, i haven't a clue but i would be a little nervous going into a new season knowing the team are a bit soft in those areas if injuries occur.

LiverpoolIFC8 why are we going to struggle for the first 10 games and not until January? Sure it will be the same squad until then won't it?

Like last summer when we had players coming back from a World Cup at different stages?

So if it's not sharing the same opinion as you Salah it's talking nonsense? You're throwing insults around yet when someone accused you of not going the game yesterday you threw your toys out of the pram. I've had my season ticket since 1983, and I've been as supportive and vocal and got behind the players as much as anyone, put thousands and thousands of pounds into the club over those years yet because my opinion differs to yours then I talk nonsense? Maybe this site should just have a Salah stone plain bread and faithinworks page so like minded individuals can speak sense in a nonsense free zone for you all.

The thing with waro is that he was nowhere to be found last season and suddenly we have a quiet transfer window and a few bad results in friendlies and he's back so I think that says all you need to know.
