Wonder who does the scouting and transfers at Atleti. Their signings seem to be very hit-and-miss. For every Griezmann, you've got a Carrasco, for every Godin, you've got a Trippier.

Haller is such a good signing for West Ham. I fancy them to be a surprise package this season. Him, along with Fornals. Are both excellent signings.

Strange that ed mentioned the Anthony Grant story as it was only yesterday he was messaging my partner unwanted messages shall we say. She had to block him on Snapchat in the end and apparently he is like this with a lot of women so wouldn't surprise me if a complaint had been made.

Cheers Ed001. Agreed Lamborini, Good manager with solid purchases. Other then Wilshere they've been buying very well. Going to be close between them, Wolves, Everton, Leciester and United for that 6th spot.

And it's amazing what one solid world cup can do for a players career etc Rodríguez and Trippier.

Cheers ed01. Trippier to a madrid is a weird one eh? How much is the fee likely to be?

I was thinking about our chat about coutinio and i have to say you are right mate. He does shoot too much from distance, and our game is all about the interplay in the final third. People say we are lacking goals from midfield (city score plenty from midfield is generally the argument) but when you have two golden boot winners, incuding one who is capable of scoring 44, that hardly matters does it?

The second (incredible) leg against Barcelona really highlights your point. Barcelona only needed to score 1 and we would have been in trouble. Coutinio had the ball just outside our area, messi and suarez were moving into space (two of the best finishers in the game) and coutinio took a shot instead of picking one of his team mates out.

Forget the fee and forget the history. He isn't the type of player we need. A good player - yes, right for lfc's progression - no.

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea how much the fee is, but it will be far too much.

You know City's midfield does not add much in the way of goals either. Only De Bruyne scores goals of them really. And you are spot on about Couts, that was why we improved markedly after he went. He is not a good link player and he wastes possession far too often.}

Thats it isn't it. I think couts would've been a better player in the 442 days, playing as the creative half of the cm duo. But no, not a link up player. Great for a team looking tp break into the top 4 but too selfish for today's lfc.

IMO, Selling Cou ............

{Ed002's Note - This constant whining over and over about the same subject is tiresome and needs to end.}

Yes mate, genuinely true, he sent her a request this morning to reconnect but she ignored it. Her son and dad are season ticket holders there, lot of rumours during tonight's game against Newport but I won't mention them as I don't know which are true and which aren't but everything I said is god's honest truth.

Crazy welsh. Keeping the issue "in house" sounds proper shady as it is.
