I saw this video and I thought I'd share. It's called Sensible Transfers: Liverpool, and if possible, I'd like to hear what you guys think about it.

I think we don't need Fekir or any new forward we have more than enough with Firmino, Salah, Mane, Origi, Shaqiri, Lallana and Brewster.
In middlefield we have Keita, Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Henderson, Milner and Chamberlain. We don't need to add any middlefield too.
In defence we have VanDijk, Gomez, Lovren, Matip, A. Arnold, Clyne and Robertson. Here we need a LB and if Clyne leaves a new RB too.
In the goalkeeping department we have Alisson, Mignolet and the irish kid. We need too add an experienced keeper only if Mignolet leaves.

I typically like their analysis but I thought it was odd that they only focused on striking options. Yes we don't have a like for like replacement for Firmino, but the team can and have adapted in his absence. They point out that there are better options out there than Origi and while I agree, do we want to spend millions on upgrading our backup striker? would someone better agree to be a backup?

With Salah and Mane capable of playing there and Brewster coming through I don't see it as a problem area. Would have loved their take on a versatile fullback or creative midfielder.

{Ed001's Note - who is a better option than Origi? He scores goals, that is priceless.}

Origi doesn't just score goals, he scores big goals too. Late winner in the Merseyside derby, late winner against Newcastle to keep the title challenge alive, winner against Barca, and goal to seal the victory in the CL final.

{Ed001's Note - spot on.}

I suspect that Liverpool announced their major Summer signing yesterday, Ed001, with Origi’s new contract?

I totally get it if this is indeed the club’s stance but, personally, I’d look at bringing Coutinho back. The fact that we’ve looked at Fekir, and bought Shaqiri, is testament that he was never properly replaced.
But Origi will be the main man next season as cover for any of the front three.

{Ed001's Note - oh for heaven's sake, can we stop going on about a player who improved us by leaving? We are better without.}

Plenty of strikers are better then Origi, but I don't see why they'd be interested in playing second fiddle to Firmino. Wasn't meant to be a dig at Origi, who's a great backup and likeable lad. Glad he signed the extension.

Origi was on fire til getting kicked by funes mori, he was really getting a good consistent level, then he had too rebuild his own confidence, he deserves all the credit in the world for were he is now Important goals in champs semis an final I said beforehand he would have an impact an I am made up he did, hope he shows us wat he can do he is still so young .

I hope it works out well for Origi. I do not think his all round game is good enough, he certainly needs to improve his passing.
Sitting on the bench most of the season with limited opportunities is not going to improve his confidence or game. He would have been better off going to a club where he had regular game time. I certainly hope I am wrong on this.

I wouldn't have coutinho back if he was free, he's nowhere near the level Liverpool require now, this isn't opinion it's fact.

Madness Salah. On a free every club in the world would take Coutinho.

Maybe yeah, apart from Liverpool, do you really think we'd take him back if he was free? No chance.

Solomon Rondon £16M release clause. There's a name for a realistic backup striker.
Just to clarify, I too like Origi but this is if we were looking for a backup centre forward. Someone who could cover the front three would make more sense but anyway.
