Anderson Arroya is in the first pre-season squad. Are you of the view that the club want to evaluate him and Lewis to see if 1 of them are ready to provide cover at left back or has the club made up their mind that a signing is needed?

{Ed001's Note - the club always evaluates youth players in pre-season, it is standard practice. With Robertson being nailed on to play when fresh and fit, Gomez and Milner capable of providing emergency cover, there is a good chance one of the youngsters can get the nod. Up to them though.}

Arroyo, just like Allan Rodrigues and Taiwo Awoniyi, is as far away from a work permit as the day they signed. None will ever start an official first team game for LFC. Sad but true.

What's the situation with Arroyo? If he is not eligible for a WP, shouldn't the club be looking at a loan move for him?

I know this has probably been asked a few times ed01, but what are the issues concerning work permits? And why do we bring in youngsters that will have work permit issues?
