With Sturridge and ings leaving, would liverpool not want to bring In a striker? I know klopp doesn't really use a out and out striker, but leaving Brewster a kid, and origi who can be hit and miss, more so a miss, the only strikers we have for next season? I know we didn't really play Sturridge, but he was an option off the bench. Going into the new season with Brewster and origi as your main strikers is definitely a risk, for me anyway, I suppose klopp knows better.

Brewster and Origi as our main strikers!? Jesus Christ! Whatever happened to Salah, Mane and Firmino?

Origi is the man now, we don't need another striker, that'd be just spending money for spending money sake. I understand we all want to see a big signing and all that but do we need it? No. We need cover for a few positions, striker isn't one of them imo.

Completely agree, Firminosteeth.

People forget that Sturridge was involved in 18 PL games for us last year. If Klopp thinks that Brewster is ready to step up and take over that role from Sturridge then fair, but if not then i do agree we may need to look to bring someone in. I think there is that fella from Lyon (Cornet or something? ) that would be able to do a job.

Red Sandman.

Mr Ezra - I think Firminosteeth is referring to the fact that Salah, Firmino and Mane have been playing in the AFCON, so will not be involved in our early games in all likelihood. So it could be that Origi and Brewster do start as our main strikers in those games.

Alison, Fabinho, and Firmino are still in the competition, so have had no break up to now.

KBL The OP didn't say 'beginning of season'. He said 'next season'. I think he's on about 'out and out' strikers, which I find ridiculous.

KBL. They did have a break of 3 weeks from final premiership game to the CL final. Copa final is Sunday 8th of July meaning the Brazilian duo (Fabinho isn't there) with a 3 week break would be back training around the 29th of July. Depending on how deep Egypt and Senegal go in the AFCON will determine whether Mo and Sadio are available.

Versatile forward as cover.
Someone to play 2/ 3 positions and can always play Mane or Salah down the middle as was tried last season.

Ed's have repeatedly said that we are looking for a versatile forward to cover for any member of the front three. The issue is being addressed I have NO idea why people are still going on and on about this.
